I had a leaky tire due to a nail in the exterior part; the manager was booked with service work but went out of his way to fix the problem. I did not expect that kind of service to be provided to a tourist . I had several children in my car and it would have been a nightmare if he was too busy to help. Rehoboth Auto has been servicing my cars. I do shop to confirm they are competitive pricing. They are. However they have caused damage to one of my cars during repair but they fixed it. I took one car in for an issue. I paid to have it repaired. Got it back and it was still broken. Took it back. They fixed what was really the original issue but would not refund me for the work they did in error. Although that instance still bothers me, for the most part they are reliable and competitively priced. Two issues out of 8 years and three cars is not bad. The rear deck on my ML350 wouldn't open or close by the "button" Made an appointment and within the hour got an estimate for the repair. I know they only use OEM parts which is a good thing. Approved repair and picked up the car 330 the next day. Everyone were true professionals in interacting with me through this whole process. I called after 5 to ask if they would check the engine light code for my daughter's 20 year-old car and said she would arrive at 5.35. I've had a few issues that I had to take my car to them on an emergency basis, and even when they couldn't take care of it right away because of other appointments, they were informative and did what they could. When they could do the work they let me know the issues, and in one case loaned me one of their batteries when it was gonna take a while to get mine, I had gone to them because they are nearby but also because they had a lot of good recommendations including some from friends, so I'm happy to pass mine along as well. read more

This place is good with scheduling. Clean, nice staff. They have no competition within miles and the traffic can make it seem even further away. I've had 2 oil changes in the past few months. Both the same synthetic oil, same filter (it's a diesel so it's more expensive). It was $50 less expensive at Jiffy Lube, plus there was an additional $25 rebate (can't count on that one). As a visitor and vacation to the beach area, I found myself with a flat tire 4 o'clock in the afternoon after calling 14 different places and getting either a cold shoulder no answer a you have to leave your car for two days or just a simple message that says were too short staff to accept any new business. I called Rehobeth auto repair. At 4 o'clock in the afternoon and they close at five the service person said if you could be here before 430. We will take care of you. EDIT-2: I've been meaning to update this review for some time now. Initially I had a negative experience here as a first time customer. The car got pretty well scratched and the problem I brought it in for wasn't initially resolved, that said they called me after the negative review and had me bring the car back up. Their main tech had a look at the car and did a lifter adjustment, and boom. The car runs like a champ. I've also since buffed the scratches out and really I was just looking to get the car running right. Happy to say overall I had a good experience with the team there. Would definitely recommend their shop to others. EDIT-1: I'm updating my review because I got a call from the manager specifically about my review. It's good to hear they are keeping an eye on client feed back. I will say the work they did was great and not unnecessary. It's an older car and the previous owner did not take the best care of it. While they did scratch the car, which I'm still not thrilled about, it is an old beater of a car, and I'm not going to bust chops because I think it should buff out some. They offered to take the car back in next weekend and actually diagnose the rough idle, and stalling I initially reported and would make it right. Original review: Honestly a little bit disappointed overall. I brought my car in for a general bumper-to-bumper inspection and specifically to have an idling issue fixed not only did they not fix the idle I ended up leaving with about $2300 worth of repairs a big old scratch on my door, and they never fixed the idle issue that I asked them to check on in the first place. So I blew out a tire right in front of this garage. I went inside for assistance and was told that nothing could be done until Saturday ( it's now Thursday morning). I said it's just a tire. She gets crappy and say that she is not pulling a track off a project for a tire. Now I'm stuck. So while sitting there two older gentleman tell me about my tire and how the old lady spoke to me. They both said" oh hell no". And out of thin air they helped me and had a new tire. Thank you guys for getting me back on the road. So if you need service from that garage. We had previously been a good customer with several years of business and loyalty but our recent service experience regarding the replacement of the exhaust on our 2007 mdx was a huge disappointment. The main issue is that the radiator was damaged during the installation and the owner was very clear about taking the responsibility for the delay and covering the cost of replacing the damaged part. After paying the bill I realized that we were charged for the radiator and upon challenging the bill I was presented with a story that we had an agreement that they would cover the labor and I would pay for the radiator that the mechanic damaged. I realize we are all overworked and times are tough, but the relationship and honesty are worth more than the $400 portion of a total bill of $3100. David L. read more

Needed air conditioning repair and it was not done correctly. I had to go back three times to this shop. I was charged for labor for the last visit. Service manager had zero concern over the three visits, not willing to work with me or remove labor cost. I won't get into the detail of the five repair shop and dealer visits but easily my worst repair shop experience in my 35+ years of car ownership. Will never return or recommend this shop. Our family arrived at the beach in a rental car only to find our front tire was completely flat. I called Rehoboth Auto Repair and they were extremely helpful. Even walked me through locating the tire size after a couple failed attempts. They looked at the car right away and called to share that the air in the tire had been let out - no rip, tear or need for a new tire. Knowing I had no clue when it came to vehicles, they easily could have told me there was a rip and charged me for a new tire + service. But nope, these guys are honest and thorough! read more

The office staff is always very friendly and helpful and works hard to ensure that my needs are met on a timely basis. The crew in the garage is meticulous and thorough. They obviously know what they are doing and always go the extra mile. I stopped in this afternoon without an appointment and toward the end of the day to ask about setting up an appointment to fix a Sideview mirror that had come loose from the passenger door. Instead of booking an appointment, they came out into the parking lot and fixed the problem right then and there, even providing some spare bolts gratis. Picked up my vehicle today for an oil change and a tire rotation and one of the mechanics clearly smoked in it. Went in to complain and they claimed the mechanic that worked on my truck does not smoke. Well somebody smoked in it because it now reeks of cigarette smoke. Won't be going back there again. Their resolution was to leave it overnight and they would run an ionizer in it. Here's a better solution. Don't smoke in people's vehicles. read more

Took my MINI there for a check engine light. They ran diagnostics and said it was in need of oil. $133 and one day later, the check engine light is on again. I take it back in, and they say they have to charge for a second diagnostic test. I get paying for their time, parts, work that needs to be done...but a second diagnostic for the same issue, the same week?!? No. Do yourself a favor and take your business to D&T instead. read more
