Had a rough start with them, but they eventually made it right. Will continue to use Firestone in the future.

I visited this Firestone couple weeks ago to get my front rotors and pads replaced. I gave them a call and they quoted me a little over $600 but i agree due to it being over 100 degrees and not wanting to get out in the driveway and do it myself I was fine with the price at the time. When I arrived at my appointment time I handed my keys to the so called manager of the place also the same guy i spoke with on the phone beforehand and didn't get my truck in a bay for hour and half after my scheduled time. Once they got it in they looked over all 4 rotors and pads and ended up saying the front 2 rotors and pads are not good and (in their professional opinion) said the front caliper was stuck on the rotor and gave me a new quote to replace rotors, pads, and caliper and brake lines for a grand total of over $2,000 lol. I told them to put the tires back on the truck I will not pay for that. Went to autozone and got rotors and pads for the front and did it myself in the driveway and no issues whatsoever with the calipers or brake lines. These people that work here are scam artists and highly recommend taking your hard earned money somewhere elsewhere and have zero knowledge of how to properly inspect or work on vehicles. P.s - when they put my tires back on they tighten the lug nuts so tight i couldn't get them off with a ratchet with a 6ft breaker bar jumping on it just because I didn't go with there suggested service. read more

Do yourself a favor and make an appointment; then wait on the confirmation email to make sure your appointment is confirmed. Darryl and Mensa were great. They were both knowledgeable and thorough in providing great customer service. For the amount of work done to my vehicle the price was decent. I got what I requested and more. I wished they had snacks in the vending machine to make the visit better but it's not that big of a deal. read more

Unprofessional with a dash of Twilight Zone at Firestone Poplar and Highland Another Firestone location couldn't reattach my tire sensor after fixing a leak. A tool was locked inside a toolbox and the key was with someone who had left for the day. That was okay. Mistakes happen. They apologized, handed me my tire pressure sensor in a Firestone bag and asked me to come back so they could reattach it. I was traveling so I made an appt. and went to the Firestone at Poplar & Highland to have my sensor reattached. During the hour or so wait, I watched my sales manager and perhaps the store manager soothe a mildly irate customer by giving him a free oil change. To reattach my sensor, I was charged over $40. When I said it didn't make sense, the charge was reduced to $20. I said that it still didn't make sense. Why am I paying - it was Firestone's mistake. The service manager very politely explained that he had not had an opportunity to call the other branch to verify my story. I immediately volunteered to call. He ignored me and explained WALMART'S return policy. Yes, Walmart's product return policy. I couldn't see the face his associate who was 4feet away and silent. I wondered if the customers behind me were listening. Minutes earlier, this same service manager gave a customer a complimentary oil change to resolve a service concern. I was required to pay to resolve one. Why do customers with service concerns receive such different treatment? Was it my long blonde hair? Was it because I am "nice"? Or maybe he didn't like my dress or flowery umbrella. Help me, a former national director at a national service company, understand. I'm knowledgeable about how corporate brand continuity and customer service are supposed to operate. There are standards for pricing, standards for service, and standards for doing the right thing. I paid the $21.95 to the sales manager to whom I'd given a $5 tip the week prior for checking my tire pressure. And left. I left... with disappointment, anger, an explanation of Walmart's return policy and questions. read more

My review was the latest for service on June 7, 2026. I purchased new tires from them on June 7, 2026. I immediately went back because the car was making a horrible noise. The tech was noticeable pissed at my return and after over an hour, told me that a hose and wire had gotten caught up in the tire... My car would not go in reverse. I was told that they could not fix my car BECAUSE they do not work on transmissions... My car has been and is still just sitting at Firestone as of today, July 4, 2026.... After inquiring of Coleman Taylor TRANSMISSSION, I learned: There is a component called the AUTOMATIC SHIFT CABLE that runs from the steering column down to the transmission housing. IF THIS CABLE gets SNAGGED, PULLED, or IF IT'S PLASTIC BUSHING BREAKS, the TRANSMISSION WON 'T know WHICH GEAR in selected, KEEPING THE CAR FROM entering REVERSE.... I am pleading with Firestone to have my car repaired to correct this issue that they have caused. NO AREA MANAGER, GENERAL MANAGER, or CORPORATE has given me NOT ONE CALL to discuss my concern. Even though they each were given 48 hours to respond to my complaint... The ORGINAL MANAGER who WITNESS THEIR ERROR has BEEN MOVED from Memphis, TN location to SOUTHAVEN, MS location. i contacted BETTER BUSINESS BUREA and their response was that Firestone REFUSES to communicate through them and they would put my complaint on Firestone's B.B.B. listing..... GO FIGURE.....!!!! FIRESTONE DOES NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMER THESE DAYS. They do the WAITING GAME in hopes that you BREAK UNDER THE PRESSURE. read more

This place was super professional. I called in to have something checked out on my care and they got me in the same day. The staff was super friendly and made sure to communicate with me through the entire process. The car inspection was only $10 plus tax. They checked out everything from the axles, breaks, engine and more. I picked my car up the same day. Cool place. Now they are a super busy location so if you don't have an appointment or even if so, be prepared to leave your car there for 4 or more hours. read more

I took my wife's car in a few weeks ago for an oil change. Got it in nice and early at 8 am. I wondered why I did not receive a phone call all day like I usually did. I finally called them around 4 pm. They said my car would be ready by 5:30. When I went to pick it up, the employees were all excited about sacking one of their employees. Though I had asked for a multi point inspection, it was not done. The employee I asked to do it said I never asked to do it. Now, at another shop, I discovered that Firestone neglected to replace an important gasket for the oil filter and I was leaking oil. I will never go back there! read more

I made an appointment for 10 am. Two hours later, my vehicle had not been touched. The only excuse provided was, "sorry, we're busy." Do not recommend to use them if you value your time or like to stick your a schedule. It was almost as if they were doing me a favor by taking my truck in for service. read more

I went here the other day due to a nail in my tire.. I can say the the service was great.. they performed a courtesy check on my vehicle without me even asking. Most Firestone don't even do that.. I would definitely visit this location again.. great service! read more

I was having an awful, stressful time trying to get my car towed when I called this store. I spoke to an older man named Chris (maybe Christopher?) who was SO helpful and patient as he helped me set up an appointment. He also helped me figure out a few things on my car to streamline the process for when it finally made it to the store. I know they were super busy, and the fact that he stayed on the phone with me for a few extra minutes made a huge difference in my day. Great customer service is often under appreciated, so I had to leave a review giving him a big shout out. read more

Get a second opinion, or just don't go at all. ...Especially if you're a young woman. They tried to charge me almost $400 to fix something that wasn't broken. My car was drivable, but they told me to drop it off for repair. They kept my car for almost a week saying that it would be done a certain day. When I called for an update to see what time I could come and pick it up, they informed me that they hadn't even received the part. So for almost a week my car was sitting at the shop for no reason. When I went up there to pick up my car, to use it over the weekend, they offered a discount as an apology for the inconvenience and miscommunication. When I asked for a receipt / record of the plan for repairs, the numbers didn't add up. Asking a few more questions, the "discount" that was offered was significantly reduced. I decided to get a second opinion, and the almost $400 repair that they were saying I needed, turned out to be a $50 fix and was in and out of another shop in less than an hour. read more

I maybe in the minority here, but this Firestone store handled my situation very well. My tire pressure light came on for the millionth time while driving around town. So I passed this store to see what was going on and possibly have some air pump into it. After the employee put some air in, he clued me in on what was going on with one of my back tires. I had a nail stuck in it the whole time! Instead of getting a brand new tire, manager offered to patch it up at a decent price. Wait was about 45 minutes on a busy Sunday morning. Since having it patched (almost 2 months now) no tire pressure indicator pops up! I'm glad that they took their time with everything. read more

This is my first time at this Firestone Auto store at the corner of South Highland and Poplar. It was a Wednesday morning, and I had a flat tire and barely made it to the store. Service was courteous and prompt, and I was on my way in no time at all. I would definitely come back and use their services again. P.S. An added plus is that if your repairs take a long time, you are within easy walking distance of a variety of restaurants and shops. read more

Can not recommend. Took my truck in after my A/C went out. I recharged my AC and performed a dye check before taking it in, and asked twice (once when dropping off and once when they called to quote a price) that they simply replace the condenser unit and let me recharge it myself when they were done. I was quoted just under $400 for the condenser, which is steep but I agreed. Showed up and my bill was $643... with charges for $200 in Freon and charges for a dye test. Not going back... ever. read more

Let me begin by saying I was a customer of this establishment for 3 years. At that time, they were excellent. Good service, decent prices, and speedy. My last two experiences there were enough to completely turn me away. I went in because my car was having trouble starting. Everything came on but it would grind and grind without starting. Sometimes it wouldn't even grind. They immediately decided it was the starter and replaced it. When I got the car back, it still sounded rough. The car ran for half a day and then stopped again. I went back to Firestone and told them what happened. They continued to insist that it was the starter and they just did a bad job it. They did offer to fix it for free. When I returned the car actually sounded WORSE! So I went in to tell them and the man at the counter that I didn't feel comfortable taking that out on the road. The guy actually looked ANNOYED that I wanted him to come outside and look at this car again. He said the belts were loose. So I asked him to tighten them. He was reluctant, but agreed. I got my car back and the next day left on a business trip to Kentucky. Surprise, surprise, the car completely reverts yet again at this time, with me out of state. Long story short (too late) I end up at the Nissan dealership in Paris, TN who inform me that the starter had nothing to with it and the issue was actually the sensors. So there we go... incorrect diagnosis, rude service, and a willingness to let a customer take a mis-repaired car out on the road. I should say that the staff of this particular Firestone used to be good, but those days are gone and I can't make it clear enough that my association with Firestone is over. read more

Usually I have great experiences here until my last visit. I bought four brand new tires here and the tires are covered for a certain amount of miles. Unfortunately my car had a nail in the tire.. Yes, I was freaking out. I had to take it to firestone. I told the guy there is a nail and to make sure to check all the other tires too. Sunday, I took my car to firestone at 2:00. Technician told me he would contact me. By 4:00 I was getting worried. Store closed at five. I contacted the store and they told me my car should be done before five. That my car was next. Small patch work shouldn't take that long. Still no phone call at 450. I decided to go up there. I asked the technician about my car and they stated they haven't started on my car. Oh course I was furious! I told the guy to make sure that his answer was correct and a second later he tells me it's done give them five minutes. I was in no rush because I left it there. But for someone to tell you that your car was in great condition and all the tires were checked was a lie. As soon as I got to my car I started my car and my husband took a look at my tire. How come the nail was still in my tire? I knew it was a Sunday and the technician were tired but to really tell a lady that all tires were checked and everything is in greAt condition is messed up. Beware people! Please double check your service! read more

While moving cross-country, we had a blowout late in the day. We switched to the spare (temporary donut) but we still had another 600 miles to make it to our hotel for the night. 1/13/2018 - Store manager Jeremy was not very professional while dealing with a tire replacement I needed for my front passenger side. When my tire arrived the next day no one called to notify me. Instead of apologizing right away and empathizing Jeremy was more interested in what "HE" did right and made it seem there was no reason for me to feel unsatisfied because my standard of customer service is too high. Quote: "You're unsatisfied because you didn't get the customer service you thought you should have received." End quote. But later admitted the reason I wasn't contacted because HE failed to leave my name and number for the crew in the morning to notify me and came to work late (blames road conditions:snow, rain, ice) How rude of him to let me think I was overreacting and shouldn't hold him accountable. Extremely manipulative. Jeremy finally said sorry but only while trying to get away from me back into the bay area where the other cars were. If this is how this location s manager is going to treat me every time I need my tires replaced (Ive been a customer there for 6yrs and now own a second set of tires from them. Warranty and road hazard included, so I'm not new to this location). I don't want to ever come back until they get another store manager or send Jeremy back through his training of managerial 101 customer service! However, Brandi was awesome! She was the first person to greet me. She even took the time to share with me her knowledge of tires and prices when (IF) I consider purchasing my third set. Brandi is pleasant. Brandi is smart. Be like Brandi. I must also add, years back when Jason and Jeff were store managers at this location they were amazing for their customer service. this is what won my trust over with Firestone. Those days are long gone now. Hence why I currently don't let them touch my car under the hood. read more

Spent 3-1/2 hours waiting on 4 new tires to be installed. Had an appointment. They we're even busy. They stripped 2 studs, which I had to pay an extra $65.57 (plus tax) to replace. Then they presented me with a "laundry list" of items (front wheel bearings, tie rod end(s), rack and pinion, coolant, engine air filter, spark plugs, wiper blades, etc.), which had to be replaced. The "wiper blades" made me suspicious, because I had just replaced them 2 days earlier, on March 26, 2018. I refused to authorize the extra parts/labor, totaling almost $1450.00, and went straight to my mechanic from Firestone. My mechanic said that my car didn't need any of that work. I will never go to Firestone again, and I wouldn't recommend Firestone to my worst enemy. read more

Took my car there for an oil change. Not too long after, I noticed my car was running much louder. I took it to a trusted shop that my father recommended, and it turns out Firestone forgot to put my oil cap on, so the tank was completely empty and the oil spewed all over my motor. It took a long time to clean up. This isn't the first time I've had an issue with this Firestone location, but no need to go there. Literally, no need because I'll never go back. read more

Bryan is an AWESOME Manager. He made all things happen when I thought it wouldn't work out. I would recommend.

Utterly terrible service. The employee that I dealt with was extremely rude to me, and acted like I was ruining my car because I hadn't had the oil changed right exactly when they said I should. I sent my 25 year old son in to get his tire plugged. He had been visiting us, when his tire starting slowly going down for some unknown reason. We put a fix a flat in it, and he went to this establishment to see what was wrong with his tire (nice Good Year tires in good shape). He was told by the first employee, "Oh, you put fix a flat in there? It's over. It's a done deal. You HAVE to BUY a new tire!" I tell my son that he obviously miscommunicated or misunderstood. So, my son goes to a totally new, separate employee, who tells him word for word the same thing! I tell my son to get in his vehicle and leave immediately! Surprise, surprise. I direct my son not half a mile down the street to Gateway Tire. They were fast and friendly and stated that the fix a flat was not a problem, that it would just depend on where the hole was as to whether or not they could plug it. They immediately checked the tire, found that there was a small nail in it, and fixed it in no time flat. Guess what else? They charged him NOTHING. They stated that this is just what they do. So, my advice is AVOID THIS FIRESTONE IF YOU CAN! They are obviously out to take advantage of young, inexperienced people and / or just out to sell tires. I am hoping that this is just a corporate policy, and that the employees there have no choice. In which case, I would still avoid this establishment. It is an example of what is wrong with this world today. Well, the manager did call me back. He stated that they "patch" tires, and they do not "plug" tires at all. He advised that the patch adhesive will not stick on the inside wall of the tire once fix a flat has been put in it. I would only add that NONE of this was even mentioned to my son. He was just told to buy a new tire, or they could not help him. read more

A+. Jeff, my service advisor, explained the different options I had. He explained why they weren't able to "plug/patch" my tire. Within 25 minutes they had my tire replaced and my paperwork ready. This is my second great experience here. A+ read more

0 stars. Worst experience I have had when it comes to getting tires. I called ahead and asked if I needed to make an appointment and was told there was no need to. Upon arrival they changed the price for my tires. This upset me but I was willing to look past it. I then waited four hours for my tires to be changed. I watched my car sit with no attention for 2 of those hours. Overall terrible customer service.
