    This is a crack happened while my car was being worked on that was not communicated to me when I picked up my car

    I took in my 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT on 7/6/23 to the Firestone on Baseline in Laveen to get my AC recharged after it started running hot after being used really heavily during the summer months. firestone had my car for about 24 hours. I picked it up on 7/7. When the car was returned to me the AC appeared to be running fine. - (Please note, that as I breakdown my experience that I have had 0 other issues with my car outside of my AC prior to Firestone started working on my car) - (I have also worked with your staff members named: George, Sebastian, and Ariane) On 9/9 I had to take my car back in because my AC stopped working AGAIN. They told me they didn't see any visible issues after running diagnostics, and just recharged my AC and sent me on my way. I got to pick up my car same day (9/9). On 9/14 my AC stopped working for the 3rd time. I took it in and I was told the issue was the air condenser hose & the piece had to be purchased from the dealership. They had my car until 9/20. On 10/7 my AC stopped working for the 4TH time. this time I was told that I needed my condenser replaced AND a new evaporator core. They had my car fixed on 10/14, but I could not pick up the car until 10/15. I was told they had to take apart my engine to get to the condenser, which is what caused this job to take so "long". I was called on 10/14 by Ariane and asked to pay over the phone, so the mechanic who worked on my car could get paid for the job in this pay period. I did not have my wallet on me so I did not pay over the phone, and told them I would pay in person the following day. When I picked up the car on 10/15, I didn't have the opportunity to drive it around a lot. I begin driving my car on 10/16, and noticed there were some pieces in my dash that were not put together correctly & there were parts that were cracked. When I tried to turn off my car to investigate what else could be wrong with my car, I turned off my car and removed my keys from the ignition and the engine remained on. My AC began to stop working intermittently and would stop blowing cold air every 2-3 minutes, and would push out hot air during those moments. I also noticed my car began to overheat. I popped open the hood and started seeing different parts in my engine were not screwed in correctly. I drop my car off on 10/16 after my car cools down after overheating, and spoke with Sebastian. I express all the issues I am running into. He explained that the technician working on my car was moving locations. As I am writing this, it is 10/19 and Firestone still has my car. In my opinion it appears the technician rushed the job on my car, so he could get paid. To say this experience has been frustrating is an understatement. My safety was put at risk due to the car not being put together correctly. My time has been deemed unimportant since my car has been with Firestone for 13 days over the course of the last month & no one from Firestone is communicating when to expect my car to be fixed. Every single time I get an update about my car, it's because I call them myself. They did not and have not contacted me to let me know what is going on as they work on my car. I have spent about 4k to have an issue fixed that continues to not be fixed. If you are having issues outside of an oil change, consider this your warning. This Firestone does a terrible job at embodying its own brand motto (Fixed Right, Priced Right, Right on Time).

    This is my steering wheel on a straight road after their "alignment"

    Took my vehicle in for an alignment, balance, and rotation. They told me both of my rear wheels were manufactured improperly, and it was not possible to balance them out. Also told me they could not get the alignment right because there was more adjustment and needed to get an adjustment kit from the dealer lol. The way they sent me back with us straightening my wheel should be all you need to know. But if that's not enough for you, I also had a 12 o'clock appointment and I called him five minutes before six to ask if my vehicle is done yet, they told me it was done and that I could come pick it up. Nobody called me and it took much longer than expected. This is a 2015 Toyota tundra we're talking about, I bought the tires from a fire stone, and I had it balanced, rotated and aligned before at a different fire stone with a better reputation and never heard of the issues they're bringing up to me now. So after being without my vehicle for over six hours and trips back-and-forth for pick up and drop off, I'll have to do the same thing tomorrow to get the job done correctly from a reputable shop. Learn from my mistake, don't let them waste your time.

    I really want to like this place but I think my third visit was not a charm…read more First experience some months back I went in for an oil change, no other service. I waited for 3 hours and 10 minutes. No explanation, no updates just waiting. When I ask about the long wait I'm told they had no oil plugs for my car. They ordered some and were waiting on delivery. After asking for a discount, not a free service, I was shot down immediately and told corporate would not allow that. I continued to wait. After becoming aware of my wait, a supervisor offered to comp my service and offered me a free oil change for the next time. He apologized, I accepted and went on my way. On return for my complimentary service a few months later it was an oil change and tire rotation. I sat in the waiting room, watched the guys working and all seemed to go well. I wait to see them rotate the tires and it never happens. They lower my car, return it to the lot and I get called up to pay. I sighed but let it go. I had to get to work and just thought maybe they weren't aware. Today I decide to give them another shot, take it in for the same service as before; full synthetic oil change and a tire rotation. Sitting in the same waiting room as before, the garage and work space in view through the waiting room windows the inspection and oil change begins. All seems to go as requested. And again, car is lowered, hood is closed and my car is returned to the lot. I'm at the counter to pay and ask if the tires were rotated. The guy says yes. I asked him to explain the process to me as I didn't see them touch the tires so maybe I'm missing something. He says they're pretty quick with it but he can assure it was done. I told him I watched the entire time. My tires were never touched. They also never asked me for the tire key I have to remove the tires. I asked him to confirm with the guys and when he returns he just says, " I do apologize we will get it back right away, won't take long." There seems to be a lack of quality control at this particular location. I think three times was plenty for me to come to the conclusion that they do not value quality or attention to detail here. My warning to you is to watch them work and ensure you are getting the service you paid for and the quality you deserve to keep your vehicle in good shape.

I was quoted that it would be about an hour. At 9:10 I walked outside to warm up and noticed my truck was still in the spot I parked. So I asked why it hadn't been taken back and the man at the desk said "oh we're really busy. We have a lot of appointments." I told him my appointment was at 8:15 and he was like yeah well anyone can make appointments online and it doesn't have a cap so sometimes we get a lot. Well I made my appointment in store literally a week ago. When I asked how long it would be he said it could be another hour! Just for an oil change. No apology no nothing.

    This location has a gentleman name Carlos as the manager. I came in with the "Ac Performance check"…read morecoupon for $10. On Friday when I went in, Carlos initially told me they were super super busy and won't be able to hey me in till Monday, he then went out to make the appointment for me in the computer and Upon learning I was a first time customer in the system, he went over to the mechanic and pleaded to get me in that same day. I left my car and was called approximately 1hr later with pricing. I was quoted $1500 for a new condenser; parts and labor. I politely declined and said I would be picking up my car. Carlos then stated he can knock $400 off if I was willing to go ahead with the appointment. I also declined. When I went to pick up my car, Carlos wanted me to pay $150 for diagnostic. Mind you, I let him initially when I first showed up that I was here for the AC PERFORMANCE CHECK. he didn't provide ANY paperwork showing what type of work was done and I was again explained to him that I have my $10 ac check coupon. He right away got frustrated with me and said that coupon is not valid and I had to pay the $150. At the point, I was very well aware that he just wanted to pocket my money and take advantage of me. so i told him I won't be paying that amount. I told him he can call the owner of my company since we have a credit card on file with Firestone and he may authorized it. He then grabbed my keys and handed to me and asked me not to come Back to the location. Carlos went on to call the company I worked for and advised them that we are now BLACKLISTED from this location. (Will provide voice text in screen shots below) The owner of the company now frustrated because we have a fleet of vans that Firestone services all across Arizona called Carlos back. When asked if we can speak to a manager or supervisor Carlos claimed that he was the only manager working till Monday. Today is Sunday so will follow up on Monday with hopefully another manager. After speaking with Carlos for 5 minutes regarding the blacklist of our company, he then went out to say our company is now welcomed back if we're willing to let this go and not continue looking into the matter any further. ( call was recorded so we'll provide proof) If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my car in for what should have been a simple repair, and this so-called mechanic saw dollar signs instead of a customer. Not only did he try to upsell me on completely unnecessary work, but he also quoted me an outrageous price--three times higher than what any honest mechanic would charge. When I questioned the inflated estimate, he became defensive and tried to talk circles around me, clearly hoping I wouldn't catch on. Luckily, we got a second opinion and confirmed that most of what he listed wasn't even needed. If you're thinking of going here, don't. This place doesn't fix problems--they create them, just to line their pockets. Absolute disgrace.

    I took a chance by taking my car to Firestone , because I really thought that they would be…read morequalified to figure out why my car just started jerking out of no where. I also had a small leak coming from under the cars engine. Whatever the jerking was from , it jerks no more. But , they never told me about the leaks that I enquired about. And , when I did come to pick up my car , it was leaking gas , as if my cap wasn't screwed on , or something. I ended up taking it back to them , twice , and they said something about a pinch in some cord. After taking it to them the second time , I thought that everything would be back to normal. But , now , I have an oil leak , that seems like my car have a giant hole in the engine somewhere. I'm now spending about $100 a week , just to keep my car full of oil. First it was the gas leaking that had me digging into my pockets. Now , I'm having the exact same problem with my oil draining all over the road. I understand that these guys told .e about a couple things that needed repair. But , it was nothing major. Or , something that couldn't wait. Since leaving that office , my car has basically been sitting in the driveway , be ayse Everytime that I drive it , I have to stop by an AutoZone , for more oil. I'm pissed , to say the least. I'm almost scared to take it back to them , because I don't want them to think that I'm trying to get work done for free. But , I can barely drive now. And , on top of all of this , I now have a big yellow scape on my front bumper , that I'm sure was caused by pulling my car in or out of the bay. You guys really messed me around. And , I'm highly upset , and am really feeling like I got the short end of the stick. I want my car fixed. Because , it ran smooth before I took it to you guys.
