Peyton answered my call today around 4:45 and answered all of my questions about fixing and possibly repairing my tire. He was great at providing the info I needed. When I arrived I was greeted by Slade and he got me checked in and handled my patch up on my tire within 45 min before they closed at 6. Yamil was also great with explaining what was the issue, and what they did to repair my tire. All in all great experience with discount again. Called to see if they could remove a nail from my tire and repair. They answered "yes" and that it was free and would take no longer than 1 1/2 hours to complete. Went in and my tire was fixed in 20 minutes, free. The two young men there were very welcoming and helpful. I think I got lucky with the 20 minute thing, but oh well, I scored on this particular day. I drive Lyft/Uber and got a flat 40 miles from home. Dropped car off at 2AM Wed. morning with a bolt in the tire. Made online appointment for 12:15pm. Called at 10:30am to confirm my *appointment* and make sure they could jack up car manually to fix the tire since I had the key and live 40 miles away and I wanted the car to be done when I got there. They said they could do that. No text updates so I called again at 2:45. "There are 3 cars in front of you but you should be done in about 45 minutes." Now text says car should be done by 4:05. We arrived at 3:57pm AND MY CAR HADN'T BEEN TOUCHED. It was still sitting where the tow truck dropped it 14 hours earlier. I'll let the pix tell the rest of the story. The borderline smug placating attitude the techs gave me was irritating; I have Every Right to be upset that my car sat untouched when a) I had an appointment at 12:15pm that wasn't honored because I wasn't physically there/they didn't have a key and b) they gave me a timeframe and STILL didn't do Anything until after I arrived. I've been to several stores over the years but this one is by far the poorest run store. read more

I bought four new tires here and was helped by Elaina. She was knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and I felt that I was in trusted hands. The day I bought the set of tires, only two were in stock, and they were quickly installed that same day. She kept me apprised on the delivery of the other two tires, And I later found out that she drove to the warehouse to ensure I got them in time for a road trip that I had mentioned. Watching her manage this very busy location was impressive as well. She knew the status of each customer's case, and efficiently managed each person to ensure that they knew the status and were met with a friendly smile. I would never recommend anyone get discount tires Warenty. There is way to many little rules they do not tell you about BUTTT I was helped by IVAN at the front desk and wanted to give him appreciation. Had to come here for my tire pressure being too low... turns out I had a nail in my tire! I came in 5 minutes before close not expecting to be seen in time but Richard saw me and waved me down to come help me. Took the time to make sure all my tires were okay and added air where needed and took a closer look to see if I needed to replace the tire with the nail. Within 5 minutes Richard came to me with a receipt of $0.00 for my visit and he was able to patch up the hole. Super inviting and great attitude! This was my first time at this location for full tire service. Angel was very helpful and a blessing. He (Angel) and Juan explained my tire situation to me which was very bad and dangerous. I was stressing because I was going to be late getting to work. Angel got the guys to pull my car in right away. This location isn't as reliable at giving the proper information to the customer. Coming in next day for my appt I was greeted with rudeness air I don't remember his name he was average height man 5"5 with glasses maybe Hispanic. Very rude and even him trying to explain what I couldn't understand because he wasn't explaining right in the first place all he needed to tell me was that I needed to put down $399 to get financing done with 4 new tires. He made me feel very unwelcomed and probably won't be coming back to this location thanks to that guy. read more

I showed up at 745am. There was a line of two guys and several cars in the parking lot. I was third in line. When they opened at 8 am the service men came out and spoke with vehicles that were there first which I thought was really cool. It took away what could have been an awkward conversation. I spoke with it to the other guys in line and we all were in agreement how professional they were. Even though i ended up being 4 th in line they were quick friendly and helpful. I was out of there as a walk in within 35 mins. Customer service is outstanding! read more

I came into the location for 2 tires. I left thinking everything was ok. The next day my break light came on unfortunately the store was closed and I couldn't bring it back the next day. I brought it back the following day and I was completely disappointed. Not only did they not help with the issue instead of addressing my concern Demontay (sales rep) tried to up sale and quote me over $2k for additional things I did not ask for. So I took my car to the dealership and found out that half of the issues they said was wrong with my car was not an issue and my breaks actually did not have to be replaced I just needed break fluid. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone. read more

Outstanding customer service, and expert workmanship. I had a 'shimmy' in my passenger side tire at speeds over 50-mph. Since I bought the tires from Discount Tire several months ago, they quickly found a missing glued-on tire weight which caused the problem. When I drove on the freeway the next day, the shimmy was worst! I took the car in, and they, again, recognized the problem that the other three tires had become 'out of balance' and in no time, I was on the road. I really hate to be the one to put bad reviews, but I made an appointment online and received a call three minutes later saying that they didn't have any spots open for me (which is weird because their options shouldn't have been available online) but they then mentioned they can make an appointment for Friday that same week, I had to work and had my brother come and pick up my car so they could take it for the appointment, When he arrived he was told my name was nowhere on their schedule. It was completely unprofessional and unorganized. It would've been my first time doing business with them, but now I'll be sure to never stop by here again. read more

You guys, I rarely if ever write reviews about car shops. Let's face it, most of the time we feel taken advantage of but not here at Discount tire. First off, I can't believe I hadn't left them a review some time ago as I've been several times, but now I'm glad I didn't because I can leave a much more thorough review overall. I moved to Phoenix from So Fl about 2 yrs ago and shortly after moving here I needed air in my tires. I went to 6 gas stations and none had air or would take my quarters. Someone told me to check out this place which I did and I was shocked that you can do a drive by essentially, never get out of your car and get your tires checked and filled. I am not used to this, at all, so wow! Ok, I've used this service now several times as a couple times I got some nails, as have other members of my household. Each and every single time, we are always greeted by the staff with a genuine and sincere want to help. Wow, I'm just getting air. OK, next......I did get a nail that needed to be completely pulled out and plugged. The day I went, it was really busy and I had to get to work asap that morning. They were honest with me about the wait times and suggested I make an apt to come in first thing the next morning. I did that and they filled my tires for the day so I could get to work. The next morning I came in early for my apt, let them know I needed to be done by a certain time and not only did they keep their word, but they were done a few moments early and kept me up to date on the progress (it was again a very busy morning for them). They are professional, courteous and well just the best in every possible way. My car is new and I have yet to need new tires but you can bet that when I do, I'll be at this specific Discount tire for the service I have received many times over. I would make a special drive here if I move from this area just because to me, it's all about the experience. Other family members have been here to buy tires and they said they had an excellent experience AND they had called around as well and received the best pricing from Discount tire.
