I have been going to this location for years. They have generally been professional about the work they do and I haven't had to take anything back for re-work after they have done the repair. But....seems something has changed. I needed work done to my truck, several things in fact and with the up coming holiday I new they would be busy so I called on Tuesday of the week and scheduled to drop my truck off on Thursday so they could start diagnosing my issues bright and early on Friday. I didn't hear anything on Friday so I called them around 4:30 PM (more than enough time to look at my truck) and I was told "We haven't had a chance to get to it yet". I had an appointment! How could you not have gotten to it yet? So I spoke with the manager and he was the guy that I had talked to on Tuesday to setup the appointment. He told because he wasn't in the office on Thursday when I dropped the car off, it wasn't put on the "hook". The only thing I can think of is that no one told anyone else that my truck had been sitting at their shop for 24 hrs with nothing being done to it. So I was told my truck would be "next in line" to be looked at and I would get a call by closing time so I would know definitively what work would need to be performed. I received no call. I got a call from them around 10:00 AM (they open at 7:00) and he told me about 1 of my issues. None of the other issues were even looked at. Long story short - 1 problem got fixed, 2 others did not even get looked at and now I need to find another shop to take my car to. Total waste of my time. If you have time constraints, think twice about taking your car here. Even if they tell you differently. read more

Scheduled an appointment at 12 pm for wheel alignment. At drop off, the employee said the car will take longer for service since walk-in's will be seen before my scheduled appointment. That completely defeats the purpose of having an appointment in the first place. Called around 1:40 pm for status and the car was not pulled in for service yet. Notified there were only 2 workers who do alignments so it's taking longer than usual. Not only were they short staffed, they accepted more jobs than they can handle and didn't honor the appointment time. Received a call at 3:15 pm the car was ready. Asked for the wheel alignment report to show the left front was the same measurement as when it was brought in (red/not aligned). Was given so many excuses as to why the wheels were not fully aligned. The report was never emailed and apparently no longer printed in store. A picture was taken of it by Bradlie and texted to me instead. My car now pulls to the right when it didn't prior to bringing the car in. read more

I dropped off my brand new vehicle I haven't even had a month to get an alignment. About 30 minutes later I receive a call that my vehicle had been wrecked. A tech member was reversing a van out of the bay across the entire parking lot without opening the mirrors. Denied speeding but my vehicle was smashed in. This is how they treat your vehicles when you're not around. Erik the kid who wrecked my vehicle couldn't even say sorry or take accountability just excuse after excuse. He turned his back and walked away after going out to look at his damages thinking I wasnt going to address him about what he did. now the next day. I haven't heard a word but to wait 5 buisness days while they go through there claims department. Until then I have to keep making my payments and wait for them to get back to me with NO RIDE ! Granted they accepted responsibility and said they'll fix it but we'll go from there that's all talk as of now. My brand new Cadillac Escalade. Wrecked in a parking lot parked. All due to these kids goofing around. When I came back to retrieve my vehicle. All the "techs" are in the bay smoking there vapes. Joking around. On there phones. There kids. TLDR: Don't book an appointment with this Firestone they won't honor it. Book at any other Firestone. Let me start with - this is not the Firestone I normally go to but this one is closer to my house. Booked an appointment to use my lifetime alignment. When I got to my appointment - the person at the desk informed me that there was another car before mine and they weren't sure why the person scheduling was double booking appointments. I was informed it would take at least 45 min to an hour and a half for the car in front of mine and then I'd need to wait two hours for mine. Double booking is a choice someone made knowing it would cost their customer experience. This isn't a situation where technicians were sick and couldn't make it in. This was a choice this Firestone made to double book customers KNOWING they did not have the manpower to make it work. I'm pretty confident they do this hoping most of their customers will just want to drop off so they can do the cars in order of who is waiting there vs elsewhere. An alignment shouldn't take 4 hours so I was not prepared to leave it. In fact - if you're aware someone is double booking appointments then why not call your customers so they do not waste their time!! If I had known BEFORE I drove to this location I wouldn't have even take the time to do this review. Y'all wasted my time and my gas. I left knowing that if I called the location in Pearland I frequent that I'd get the help needed. They were able to get my car in as soon as I got to there location and quoted me a reasonable amount of time for the work to be done. What's even crazier is they had 4-5 people in the waiting room and they were still able to service ALL of our cars despite this location not being able to help with 1 customer waiting. read more

I took my truck in a couple weeks ago for an oil change and tire rotation. Several days after, my TPMS light popped up that one of the sensors wasn't reading. I took it to Discount Tire where I had the warranty on the sensors and they found that the sensor was broken and a rubber band was used to keep the sensor connected, but the sensor fell off (see photo). This is after I brought my wife's car in and March, paid for a state inspection and oil change, but the inspection was never done and I had to take it back a second time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING TO THIS PLACE. They do not do a damn thing. They Told my husband his truck would be ready in 45 minutes.. that was at 1pm. It is now 6:40pm and they close at 7pm and we never received a call. We just showed up and his truck is sitting on a jack while no one is doing anything to it or any other vehicle here. The service actually took place several months ago...like January, I think. Better late than never, right...dont judge...I immediately contacted store mgmt, for what it's worth. Anywhoo... routine oil change, tpms light came on, and needed tire rotation...nothing special. However, the tech...Alonzo, I believe...did something different ...not sure what. Maybe went the extra mile, was honest, competent maybe, or simply did his job according to how Firestone would prefer...I'm going to go with all of the above. You see, if you look back at a past review of mine regarding my asking a tech about my brakes still whistling following several months after they did work on them you'll read where the guy told me something along the lines of it being because "we live in Houston and ALL brakes whistle in Houston"...wtf does that even mean??? Anyway...I was also told not just by them but the other location in Webster that my tpms wasnt working which I always thought was strange as it was indeed the light coming on that was partial cause for me bringing my car in at those times. As a result, I would just reset it myself until it would 'work' again and so on. So...back to Alonzo... I immediately noticed that before anything, he put the plastic seat protector and paper floorboard cover on before getting in my car...cant remember the last time that was done...so kudos there. My service was perform pretty quickly and that was a huge plus. But it wasnt until I got into my car in addition to driving down the road and making a few stops that I noticed this... Not only was my tpms reset (btw...he checked it off as checked and working) but my brakes stopped whistling...let me type that again for those in the back...ALONZO GOT MY BRAKES TO STOP WHISTLING...IN HOUSTON!!!!! Tbh,it's been a hit or miss with this place,ik for a fact I hate the reps or whoever is doing the customer service,so are there techs,ik with my 02 Chevy they messed a lot with the motor belt that kept fucking up each time at least 5-6 months from Mid 2016 till late 2017 that I had just take it to another mechanic all together.I came back in late 2020 and got my passenger side wheel fixed with a new spring with no issue as of now. IMO I give it 1.5 out of 5 if I could read more

The representatives need to be trained better when it comes to communicating with customers. I understand that things happen and sometimes you don't have the necessary staff to run smoothly but telling me that you're a "bit backed up" isn't the same as waiting an hour and half and my car hasn't even been touched. Especially when I told the rep that I was going to be waiting for my vehicle and NOT dropping it off. And all of this even after making an appointment. The appointment setting system should also reflect the wait time so that we shouldn't waste this kind of time. read more

I have never written a review for an auto shop before, but I wanted to give this Firestone location props for a job well done. My husband always brings his work vehicle here for service, since it's the closest Firestone to our house, and he knows/trusts their work. Last week, my car started having engine issues, so we brought it in on a busy Saturday to get a diagnosis. They were prompt to check it out, calling us less than two hours later to let us know the issue. It was going to be a $250 fix, and they recommended a couple other things to get done at the same time. We told them just go with the $250 fix, and that we would come back for the rest. When we went to pick up the car, (done about three hours later), there had been a miscommunication about the work to be done, and they had done everything, not just the $250 fix - total would have been about $650. They apologized profusely and ended up knocking $150 off the total price for the miscommunication. I would give them five stars, but since there was the miscommunication in the first place, I suppose that wouldn't be accurate. But overall, an efficient location with friendly people. read more
