They graciously checked all of my tires, filled them with air, cleared my dashboard alert, and sent me safely on my way. They didn't charge me anything and were incredibly kind and helpful. I had a pretty disappointing experience with this Firestone location and felt it was important to share. We brought in a Nissan Pathfinder (a GSA fleet vehicle) because the tires were slowly losing air. The driver had already found the leaks, and the tires were basically new. A simple patch was all that was needed. He clearly told the staff, with the help of a translation, that he wanted the tires patched, not replaced. Even after being told the tires did not need to be replaced, they went ahead and submitted the work as a full tire replacement through the GSA system. To me, that feels dishonest and like they were trying to take advantage of the fact that it was a government vehicle. And if they're willing to do that to a government vehicle, I don't see why they wouldn't do the same thing to anyone else. On October 21, I brought my vehicle to the Firestone location in Hallandale Beach for a tire replacement and alignment. Upon receiving my car, I immediately noticed a faint smell of gasoline. As I drove home--less than five miles--the odor became overwhelming, and my vehicle came to a complete stop on a public roadway. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I contacted the shop immediately to report that my vehicle was leaking a significant amount of fuel and that this issue began immediately after their service. I was instructed to have the vehicle towed back to their location for inspection.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On October 22, I received a call from the same shop informing me that I would need to pay nearly $500 for them to remove the fuel tank and "assess further." Despite clear evidence of damage--including visible scrapes on the fuel tank and frame consistent with improper lift placement during the alignment--the shop has refused to take any responsibility. I was told an "expert" at the location determined they were not at fault, but no reasonable explanation or evidence has been provided. To be clear, I am not seeking financial compensation or any form of profit. I only want my vehicle restored to the same safe and functional condition it was in prior to the service performed by Firestone. I expect this matter to be addressed promptly and appropriately. I brought my car back to this Firestone location because the alignment they did about a week ago didn't feel right when I drove it on the highway. They checked it again and told me that my front right wheel was out of alignment -- and that I'd have to pay again to redo it. I reminded them that the car hasn't hit anything since the alignment was done, and that any small bend on the rim was already there before their work. Instead of taking responsibility, they used that as an excuse to charge me again. That's completely unacceptable and dishonest. I told them directly that I would never return to this shop. I went to this Firestone facility due to low air pressure in my left rear tire. I specifically noted to the young woman the low pressure was on the left rear tire. There appeared a nail in the tire. The mechanic fixed the tire and there was proper tire pressure. Sunday PM, I noticed that the air pressure in the left rear tire was very low. I went back to this store location and the service person, Fernando, asked if this was the front left tire. I said no it was the left rear tire. The tire was fixed but the service agent Fernando said it was another nail in the left rear. There was one on the front right from Saturday's visit. I did not believe him but could could not prove anything. I did say to him it seemed strange since I clearly stated in my initial visit it was the left rear. Two days ago, I was heading home after having dinner and I had a gut feeling that was telling me to look at the temperature gauge. I suddenly noticed that the needle was slowly rising to the "H". I wasn't too far from home and I didn't panic, but I was just silently praying to make it to my drive-way without blowing the gasket. At first I thought that the coolant was low, but I quickly dismissed the idea because I've been refilling the coolant for weeks and the temperature gauge never rose toward the "H". I decided to go to Firestone the next day to make an appointment. I spoke to the store manager who was very courteous and listened to the problem, and provided a few reasons why the temperature gauge was reading High. Vernie was assigned to work on my vehicle. He previously worked on my vehicle when I brought it in to replace the intake manifold gasket and clean the fuel system so I was confident that Vernie would do a satisfactory job. After performing a cooling system pressure test, it was determined that the radiator and thermostat needed to be replaced with a coolant flush. I also had them do an oil change. I waited for an estimated time of three hours, but the job was completed with efficiency. Clarence assured me that I didn't have to refill the coolant anymore and that it was recommended that I change the brake fluid. Once again, I was going home a happy customer. They tell me to come back in 2 hours i come after 3 hours just to be safe and they had not even started and even dared to say that there were 2 cars in front of mine. This place went downhill...my folks brought in their car to install new tires, and they wrongly torque the lug nut and destroyed the thread. The service agent wrapped the lug nut in a crumbled piece of paper and just told my senior citizen father "I have something for you" and didn't explain anything. Later when I analyzed it, I saw that they destroyed the thread on the hub and the lug nut won't fit back in. Then I took my car and the invoice states that they didn't perform my alignment cause my car is specialized and needs to be done at the dealer. OMG the wait is always ridiculous!! I have been going to this location for over a year and I don't really have a good answer as to why I have for so long. I always go just for an oil change and I am always there for at least an hour and half. On average the wait is 2 hours! I know it doesn't take that long and it never appears to have many cars to service where it should take that long. It wasn't til I recently have been venturing to other Firestones where I have learned it doesn't take 2 hours but most places get me out in less than an hour. Half of these workers probably never touched a car in their life. First time i came to get my tires changed and wheels aligned, they absolutely skewed the alignment and had to return the next day and get it realigned. This alignment lasted long enough. Then comes the time I have to rotate my tires in my garage. To my disbelief, half of the lug nuts were borderline rounded and 2 of the lug nuts were cracking because of their negligence with impact wrenches. Keep in mind the wheels on this car only ever came off once... Then because i have lifetime alignment, i decided to get a 3rd alignment. I thought it was good job, but then the next day after making a left hand turn, i felt and heard a violent pop come from one of my wheels and suddenly im driving straight with my steering wheel pointed 45°. Absolutely piss poor service and from this point forward I will go and pay the full price at premium auto shops so i dont have to deal with this bs read more

He is a hard working, truthful, and do everything that he can for the customer - which in my book makes him as close to perfection!! I regularly go to Firestone HB for oil changes and even replaced all 4 tires there. Always good work by mechanics there! This drop in was needing a blinker light replaced. You know - the indicator light, most ppl don't even bother using - I'm one that does, even when the right rear went out. Wanted those in other lanes to realize I was moving over! I came at a good time, and safety feature was replaced faster then I would have imagined. Was ready to watch entire Goliath episode ;) Make appt, on your app if you have it, let them do the work and know they'll stand behind it! Would give these guys 10 if it went that high!! Ive been using this store to service my cars and trucks over the years. In the past they have left my oil cap off; causing the car to lose almost all its oil before i realized it. Although i have a lifetime alignment warrantee 3 times out of five its left the shop still vearing to the right. They overcharge for service and about 2 years ago the tires i bought from them wore out unevenly and prematurely. When i tried to get them to discount a new set of tires they weaseled out of it by saying the tires were inflated unevenly?! Now i have paid extra for a tire warrantee and again they found a way to weasel out of repairing the tire! Be smart and avoid doing buissiness with firestone. When my wife went to pick up the car, which was parked back end first in a parking spot it would not start. But obviously it was driven into the spot and likely back end first for a reason. The mechanic said it needs a new battery. The battery was less than a year old. My wife told him the car started fine before she brought it to Firestone. She insisted he charge the battery and once he did it started fine. The mechanic said the battery was weak and possibly defective. She told him he is full of it. DO NOT ALLOW ANGELO NEAR YOUR VEHICLE. Dropped my car off on a Sunday for service and a new tire. Angelo, the technician backs my SUV into something and damages my car. No one notifies me. I pick up my car and it is parked in a corner with the front facing out of the parking space. No other car in the lot is parked that way. I get in the car and drive home. (why would I check out the outside of my care for damage??) I get home and just happen to open the hatch of my SUV to notice that my hatch has 2 huge gash/dent marks and my license plate holder is completely broke ( sign of force). I return to Firestone and they take zero responsibility and Angelo has a sheepish look on his face. The Manager Yasser was gone for the day. Advice: 1. Don't allow ANGELO near your vehicle 2. I really hate to write a horrible review for any business, and I don't want to seem this is a scene of a dramatic soap opera.... After the horrible occurrence that happened, that completely ruined my Sunday plans, I decided to give my feedback to Firestone online. Nobody has attempted to contact me, or reach out in any way. I guess my business is not that important to them. To tell my story, I decided to get both my cars an oil change, early on a Sunday morning. I asked if it would take very long to do it. It was 7:30am, and they told me that it would take an hour and a half, maximum. I came back at 10am, my car still was not even started. I had to wait until 12:30pm, 5 hours later, to get my first car finished for an oil change. I felt in my gut that it was not right to give these people my second car to work on, but I figured that mistakes happen. I was assured that my second car would not take as long. I agreed to do it, but I needed my car back by 3pm, I had plans that needed to get to... This place closes at 5pm, I had to wait inside until 5:50pm to get my car.... I missed my plans, and it took a combined 11 HOURS to get 2 oil changes?!?!? You people are ridiculous... The only person that appeared to care in the slightest bit was Jessica. If it wasn't for her reassurance and apology, I probably would have demanded my keys back! To summarize: It takes these people 11 hours combined to do two oil changes, Jessica is the only worker with a brain there, and corporate doesn't care about my business, after I gave them feedback with no response. I would like to bring your attention to an unsatisfactory experience I had at your Firestone Complete Auto Care located at 1W Hallandale Beach Blvd., Hallandale Beach FL 33009 auto repair shop on Friday, November 23. I have been a loyal customer, I brought my Fleet Company vehicle for regular oil changes and tire rotation and balances, my wife's Fiat 500 for tire services and this time I brought my Mercedes S430 for tire rotation, balancing and oil changes for the cost of $357.00 (customer invoice 198197). That very same day, I purchased the lifetime tire rotation with balance offered on discount for my Mercedes. So I trusted this facility. I picked up the car by 6:50 pm (shop closed one hour later that day) and took it to the drive through car wash. After I left the facility, I started getting massages on the screen and the lights did not shut off when I turned the car off. I had to manually turn the bulb off so that I could have power the next day and took it to the shop. When I drove to the shop I heard that something was hanging loose at the bottom of my car and was touching the road. I showed Clarence, store manager, that the engine splash cover at the bottom of the car was hanging loose and got damaged for been scratched on the road. Perhaps some water from the car wash went into the system causing the electronic failures given the fact that the engine splash front cover was never installed and the rear cover was left loose by the technicians at the shop during the oil change leaving the engine unprotected without my knowledge. When the car was lifted, the shop mechanic realized that the front part of the engine splash cover was never installed and was left at the shop. It was about 1:00 pm when I brought the car into the shop. The mechanics and management personal could have had the courtesy of calling me, the customer and let me know that something went wrong during the repair leaving me to find out the hard way. What if I had taken the highway that very same night I took the car from the shop and the part had come out and created an accident? Clarence promised me that they would purchase and replace the engine splash cover and that they would perform a" courtesy check" on the engine to assess the electronic damages on Monday November 26. I took the car back to the shop. The car was left through the entire day and the only call I received from Clarence, the shop manager, was if anyone had messed up with the light bulbs. I went to the shop and by the end of the day, with me present there by the time of closing, they finally performed a computer test finding all kinds of electronic failures on the system trying to blame the light bulbs I had to turn off manually for the electric failures found. No one has ever called me again to arrange the replacement of the part Firestone Autocare located at 1 W Hallandale Beach Blvd., Hallandale Beach FL 33009 (954) 458 0288 damaged out of neglect. I have been punished with negligence and lack of respect for been a trusting and good customer to that facility. I took my car to a Mercedes Benz facility near by in order to asses a claim and the damages caused by Firestone in the electronic system were estimated over over $1000.00. It was also found that the facility never performed the wheel alignment I have paid for. This was last month November 26 and Firestone Bridgestone has not reimburse me for the damages caused. The other day I got a flat tire and being new to the area I had no idea where to go. After getting my spare, I saw this place but it was too late in the day to stop in so I called the next day. They wanted to charge me over $200 for a tire (I was told they could not patch it), labor and an alignment I know I didn't need. I told them no, googled for tire shops and came across Alpine Performance, just a few streets over. Please look into Alpine Performance! The owner was nice and honest. He was only going to charge me $70 for a new tire and $40 for a used one. He then asked to see my tire, and was able to patch it. He only charged me $20. I dropped my car off at 12:30pm for a oil change and tire rotation. I was informed it would be ready at about 2:00pm. At 2:30pm I returned and was told nothing was done because they couldn't get the hood open. They said they tried to call and there was no answer. I checked my phone and there was a missed call from a number different then theirs and a voicemail of someone hanging up, no message. Needless to say my afternoon was a waste. Not even a tire rotation, which does not require a hood being open, does it? Word of advice Firestone: in this day of age it is unacceptable to think they could not reach me. Do not assume your clients are waiting by the phone. LEAVE A VOICEMAIL. text, email, Facebook, whatever, just don't waste my time. Not going back, not because my hood could not open, but because your team is so technologically challenged that they could not leave a voicemail, text, or email me; apparently one call was the best effort they could make. WARNING !!! DO NOT BE CHEATED!!! August 8 I went in as my TPMS (tire pressure monitor) was on. The technician Vicent after checking all tires didn't find any issues and was not able to explain why the light was on. I then proceeded to check myself and discover a small nail. After advising both Vicent and James service advisor they went ahead to remove the tire. Few mints later told me I had to purchase a tire. When I went myself to confirm the information, I discovered the nails didn't puncture the tire at all. Meaning there was no reason to repair the tire nor purchase a new one. In an effort for this situation not to happen to anyone else I shared the issue with customers service which gave my number to rClarence area manager. Clarence tried to tell me the issue was bases on the age of my tires.... Senseless, as I went for low tire pressure and was told to buy a new tire for a non exciting rupture. You've been warn.... Ripoffs! Will sell you things you do not need! I go in with a flat tire. Some guy up front by the name of Rolando takes a look at it, says it can NOT be fixed because I drove on it flat thus damaging it - and that I need a new tire. I look at the tire, I don't see any damage. He insists I need a new tire. I insist to have it taken off the rim to see if there's any actual damage on the inside of the tire. A technician takes the tire off the rim, looks at it and exclaims: the tire doesn't have any damage. Another one confirms. Tire is perfectly fine and can be fixed. Conclusion: Rolando is a liar who wanted to sell me a tire I don't need so he can make a few bucks. Nick and Peter are good technicians who told the truth.
