Im from Detroit and recently moved to Fremont, Ohio. I live here. I went in to Firestone today for a PLUG. Ran over a screw last night and just wanted it pulled out and plugged with some rubber, snipped and air added like usual. One to two minute job! The front desk associate was pleasant but told me it would be a two hour wait. I had my 8 ur old with me and went to get her some McDonald's and came back and a different mechanic took my truck to the back set it up on the lift (which was totally unnecessary) had my daughter and I in the lobby over an hour then tried to say I need this and that ( 4 new tires, etc) I know this ALREADY. It's a 2014 Jeep Compass. I actually need a new vehicle but FOR NOW all I need is A PLUG. He hands me some paperwork saying $629 or something like that for 4 tires etc. etc. and DIDNT even plug my tire. Left the screw in the tire and there's and a sign saying they "PLUG TIRES" etc. I was beyond disappointed and frustrated been there all that time for NOTHING. Went down the street to UNIROYAL and Chase plugged my tire in literally 2 minutes!! THANK GOD for UNIROYAL!!! Firestone at 800 W. State St. is not worth the trip unless you plan to spend $600 + with them. read more

Our car had a check engine light come on as we were traveling to Chicago. We got off at the Fremont Ohio exit of the turnpike and proceeded to the local Firestone dealer on West State Street. They were extremely busy but took us in right away! Yeah!!!! The mechanics checked the sensor and explained the problem- fuel mixture was not correct- caused sensor to go off. The mechanic said he wouldn't stop our trip. He didn't charge us anything- great service- we will buy tires sometime in the future from Firestone! Thank You!!! read more

Normally I do not write reviews, but I feel this has to be made known to the public. For the past 2 years, I have been using this center for oil changes and tire service for my Toyota Camry. On Friday May 24, 2019, I dropped the car for the day for 10,000 mile oil change, tire rotation and possible brakes needing to be replaced. At the end of the day when I picked up the car, oil change was done, and new brakes/rotors on front and rear. They asked me to bring the car back after 50 or so miles to check the lug nuts. I drove home with no issues, but on my return trip to Fremont, about 5 miles into the trip, this horrible thumping noise began in the left front of the car and worsening the longer I drove. I kept my speed at 45 MPH on the turnpike and went directly to Firestone and dropped off the car with my concerns. When I returned at the end of the day, I was told that I did not do anything to cause the noise, nor did their technician do anything wrong to cause the noise, but in fact, they admitted that the lug nuts on the left front tire were not tight, which caused the noise. The truth would have been received and accepted; however, their mistake was taking me for ignorant and could have had a much worse outcome. My husband has been here twice and the same person, Shane, told him that it would be the end of the day before he could put two tires on the rims that my husband had at Firestone with him. There were two other technicians who were great and got my husband in and out in 15-20 minutes. I'm only sorry that I didn't get their names! Very personable and customer service oriented. A blowout on the Ohio Turnpike landed me in Fremont and lucky for me, it did. I got to know Firestone Complete Auto Care. Fast, courteous, professional with really great customer service; Bryan, the manager, quickly assessed my situation, gave me a realistic worst case scenario, then solved the problem in the most economic and smart way possible and got me back on the road within hours. He even came and picked me up at my motel when the job was done! A fine young man with a real flair for making even strangers feel like longtime valued customers. Trouble on the Ohio Turnpike led me to limp in to Fremont and spend an unwanted night there. Called Brian at Firestone and he said bring it in, though my issue was significant enough, he said, that they probably couldn't fix it. I brought it in at 7:30am and he recommended a place for breakfast within walking distance, came back in an hour and indeed, the car's needs were beyond their capabilities. But Brian, who was very polite, called up another shop and made arrangements for me there. He did not charge me anything, as in zero. Highly recommend them as straight shooters, not throwing a bunch of parts at my car. read more
