If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Firestone Flower Mound has been nothing short of infuriating--poor service, a complete lack of accountability, and absolutely no response to my complaint. I brought my 2019 Infiniti QX60 in on July 16, 2024, for front brake service, which cost me $653.97. Shortly after, my wife noticed squeaking, so I returned on July 30--they checked but claimed there was no issue. The squeaking continued, and I came back two more times (within months) only to be told the same thing: "No problem found." By March 6, 2025, not only were the brakes still squeaking, but I also noticed shaking at high speeds. Again, Firestone claimed everything was fine and merely lubricated the brakes. At that point, I had completely lost confidence in their work and took the car to Christian Brothers Automotive on March 19. They immediately found that the front brakes needed to be replaced--less than nine months after Firestone supposedly installed new ones! I paid $588.78 to have the job done properly. This leaves two possibilities: Firestone never actually replaced my brakes in July and charged me for work they didn't do. They used subpar parts that wore out in an unreasonably short amount of time. I sent a formal complaint to both the store and Firestone corporate on March 21, 2025, requesting a refund for the faulty service. No one has responded. Not the store. Not corporate. Nothing. This is completely unacceptable. If a company refuses to acknowledge blatant service failures, they don't deserve anyone's business. I will never return to Firestone, and I strongly urge others to avoid this location--unless you enjoy paying hundreds of dollars for poor workmanship and zero accountability. read more

My check engine lights is still on despite fixing a faulty O2 sensor that they had put in couple of months ago. They replaced the part under warranty . However, now of a sudden I have mass air flow sensor issue that according to them is the issue. Why was this not an issue when the first codes were pulled? I also spent $800 replacing fluids in my car but clearly that was not enough, so now I need to spend $320 more to CLEAN 2 sensors so my engine light can be turned off. WTF?! Toby, the service manager, should not be allowed to be in the service industry. His attitude is condescending and typical of someone who doesn't care about customer satisfaction. I've been coming to this store for over 20 years, however this is likely my last visit. Note; I rarely leave bad the reviews, so this is an exception. Obviously, I used to get really good service here, or wouldn't have been back for over 20 years. However, for the last several years, that has not been the case. I chalked some of it up to Covid, however that's mostly behind us. In the last 20 years I put tires on every car (for my family of five), and had numerous repairs and alignments done here (spent 10s of thousands of $$). Recently, I was told getting the Firestone credit card would benefit my status, and I did. However... While driving back from McKinney yesterday, I hit something in the road. A few minutes later my tire light came on, and I pulled over at a service station... my tire was down to 20 pounds of pressure. I filled it up, and drove it to this store. All I needed was the tire repaired or replaced. It was around 11 AM, and they told me they weren't sure if they could get to it that day. They did not. It's difficult for me (as a long-term customer) to believe they couldn't have figured out a way to get my vehicle back on the road, for a flat, within a 24 hour period. 31 hours later, I'm told that I had sidewall damage and that I will need a new tire. They close in under 45 minutes, hopefully I'll be leaving with my truck. Last time I was here, I realized that one of my hubs was missing the next day after I got my truck back. I called them, and they assured me that it wasn't them, and there wasn't anything they could do for me. That was annoying! I had to go to Toyota and buy a new one myself. Additionally, I know they're in business to make money, and sell things... But they're constantly hitting me with all kinds of things that they suggest I can do by vehicle, up selling. Thank you Mr.Toby Last Thursday morning my day started a little on the flat side. Getting off from one job headed to the next. After a few attempts of trying to air the tire, I realized this was above me, pulled into Firestone. Not knowing the inner wall of the tired was badly damaged is the reason no air would go in, Mr. Toby went in to action and pulled out all he had to help me get to work on time. Mr.Toby's characteristic traits are definitely top shelf. The worst customer service I have ever had. I called them up Sunday, June June 27th and told them my tire was going flat and I had a car full of household goods. They said I could drop the car off and they could do it later today. I went home to change the tire and learned that my tire took no longer fit my lug nuts. The last time I was there they replaced all the luggs on my truck. What they didn't tell me was I had to buy a new tire tool to get the lugs off. I went to O Reilly's and bought a new four way. Fast forward I go to drop off the tire. I told him about the luggs and he said nothing. The " manager" said he couldn't get to it until tomorrow. Granted I was already frustrated about the lug nut issue. I said that's not what you said on the phone. He said I don't know who you talked to but it wasn't me. Oh and there were three employees standing around doing nothing. I asked if he could help me get the flat tire out of the back he said yes and just stood there. I said now? He told me to pull around by the service area even though my truck was parked by the front f door. I got to the service area. No one there to help so I pulled the tire out of the back myself. The manager finally showed up looked at the tire and said I can't fix this. You Can take it to discount tire or wherever you bought it. He then told me he didn't want my business. He didn't know who changed the luggs on my F150 King Ranch but it wasn't him. So it wasn't his fault. Excuse me, aren't you the manager? By the way the screw was in the middle of the tire. Not the sidewall. I waited until today and then went to Lewisville Tire and Service who repaired the tire right away and threw it back on the truck. Wow, they really don't want your business. Firestone told me I needed control arms and bushings replaced at a cost of 1700. Plus an alignment at 145.Brakes plus actually took me out to my car and showed me what was going on. I do need it. The cost is 1440 for everything. So going around the corner saved me around 1500. This Firestone is always packed and they are robbing people. It's unreal! Brakes plus in Bartonville. For the second time in a month, I tried to dump used oil at Firestone on Cross Timbers. For the second time in a month, I stood behind someone buying an oil change before being told that they would not take my oil because their tanks were full. Here's where it's useful to know that to protect our waterways from used motor oil that was getting dumped on the ground, the great State of Texas passed a law that in order to sell oil changes, you must accept used oil. These places sell the oil that incrementally costs them nothing, so all they were avoiding was the inconvenience. So, my question to you guys is ... if they'l break the law and lie to you to avoid a minor inconvenience, then in an industry where Consumer Reports regularly finds 85% of businesses will perform an un-necessary repair when given the opportunity, can you trust them on that repair they say you need? ... that did the work they billed for? ... that they used the same new parts they told you they did? ... that they gave you the grade of oil you paid for? So, I took my oil and future business to Kwik Kar across Long Prairie. They were very polite. read more

After checking competitor's prices for some specific tires, I was quoted the same price at this location, so I opted to have them install the tires, as they are close to my home. I also asked if they could do my annual inspection. Tires were mounted without issue, but I was told that my vehicle failed the inspection (it had never done that before) due to "power steering res. is very low and the rack and pinion is leaking." They also claimed I had a "defective belt condition." That all sounded suspicious, especially given the high price they quoted me to repair the supposed leak. So I took it to my trusted master mechanic, who shows me that the power steering fluid level was normal, that the rack and pinion leak was tiny and old but not enough to drain the power fluid reservoir level, and that the belts were fine, but will at some point need to be replaced. None of the claimed "defects" had anything to do with failing a vehicle inspection, as I had suspected. This was an obvious scam attempted by someone there (the inspector is named James Langley). I was out of town and my 17-year-old son took his car there after having a flat tire. I told him not to agree to any additional work, and that I would look at things when I got home. After several times telling the technician NO, they did an alignment anyway and charged him. I am extremely disappointed as I sent him there after being a customer for years and felt it was a place I could send him without being taken advantage of. Clearly, that is no longer the case. Went in for an oil change. When calling me to let me know it was ready they told me my tires and brakes (front and back) need replaced. Quoted me $2000. Just a week earlier I had the car inspected at this same location and no issues. When I asked them about it I was told that was unrelated??? I decided to get a second opinion. I went to a competitor who took a look at my brakes. Showed me the brakes and advised that the front ones are right on the edge but the back ones were in great shape. Competitor charged me $300 to replace the front ones versus the $500 per axle quoted from these Jokers. Fool me once shame on them. Fool me twice shame on me. I brought my car in with a flat and they called me later saying it was repairable but the tire grooves were low and they recommended replacing both fronts and only offered a $400+ tire and no other options. I said just fix the flat and I'll think about replacing later. They call back and said now there are wires sticking out and it needs replacing now and I said no just fix the flat. they called a little later and said it was ready. When I picked up the car they didn't fix anything and the tire was down to 19 psi. I rushed to Discount Tires and got both tires for half the amount Firestone was trying to get and Discount Tires said they did needed to be replaced but it wasn't crucial. read more

Let me tell you why THIS location deserves 5 stars -- the staff (shout out to RENEE she is so kind and helpful) always fit you in, tell you the price and keep you posted on your vehicle status. You can book online, drop off after hours and they keep you up to date with reminders when you need to rotate tires, etc. We get tires online and have them delivered here and they charge a small install fee. I've been here for all my Texas car state inspections and they make it easy. Also I came in during the surprise 2/21 blizzard last year and they helped me fix a tire and put air in the others. Location is one of the busiest in the country but you don't feel stressed -- they are organized and efficient -- clean waiting room and restrooms (and you feel safe), great close by stores like Walmart and McDonalds to get your lunch while you wait. You need to remember to leave your wheel locks out on your seat or dash and visible when you park. Lastly the way they speak to customers is so kind and honest and professional -- seniors and women feel comfortable here and I notice that the mechanics are also the same exact way -- I can pull up to the bay and they help me put air in my tires anytime -- my car is vacuumed and they put a mat on the floor when working on it too. I've been to many Firestones over the years and this is the gold standard store! read more

Three bad experiences + zero good experiences = Couldn't pay me to go back. Attempt 1: Book an appointment online and take my car in only to be told they don't use their online system. Okay, poor service but maybe it's a one off. Attempt 2: Bring it in the the morning after Attempt 1 for new tires and an inspection. I drop it off in the morning and am told it'll take a few hours. I live really close so I walk home. At 3pm I call to check on it and am told it'll be done by 5pm. I head up at 5pm and am told it's not done yet; I can wait another hour or bring it back tomorrow. B/c I have to take my kids somewhere and they've already changed the tires, I have no option but to bring it back the next day. Not so much of a "sorry for it taking much longer than expected." Attempt 3: It's been a year since Attempt 2 and I have my car serviced (well might I add) at other places. However, I have a nail in my tire and figure, "how can this go wrong?" I call them and ask if I can bring it in later in the day. They say that won't work but if I bring it in now they'll be able to get to it. I head up there and upon arriving am told that they can get to it tomorrow. I remind the guy that I just got off the phone with him (I live less than a mile away and headed right there) and he begins to say there's nothing he can do b/c so many guys are quarantining b/c of Covid. I totally get that in general but ask him how that changed in the last 10 minutes, and he (obviously) has no answer. Again -- no apology for telling you something completely false when you called. If these guys can't even get the very, very basic things right (tire change, tire patch, inspection), why on Earth would anyone trust their car to these clowns? Guy got upset when i pointed that out, tried pushing his sale at over $1700. Ordered em online at Discount in front of him, saved $190, installed at Discount appointment next day in under 20 minutes. We called to see if we can drop off our car to get a light bulb changed. They said they will get it done quickly so we dropped it off Saturday morning with the intent to pick it up that day. They let us know they will call us when it's ready for pickup. No one called us and the shop was closed by the time we called to check. We called Sunday mid-day for an update. They again told us they will call us when it will be ready. No one called us so we simply showed up one hour before they closed. Neither of the two dudes gave us an update. One of them just walked out yelling at the technicians "that this guy is still waiting for his car", referring to us. We sat there for another hour......simply said, they lack customer service and we would have not been able to get our car until Monday if we wouldn't have shown up. read more

It actually pains me to write this, but people need to know who they are trusting their cars to. I have been taking my three cars to the Flower Mound Firestone for six years, and have spent thousands of dollars there. NO MORE. My problems with them started about three years ago, I dropped off my F-150 for them to re-attach my rear view mirror on the front window. They broke my entire window, and had to replace it. When I picked up my truck, which I keep in immaculate condition, the interior was full of oil and dirt stains from a tech climbing around in it. I complained to the manager, and he offered me a coupon for the car cleaning place across the street. I declined, telling him his techs just need to take some pride in their work. Several times, they have broken my center caps on my truck while doing tire rotations. I do them myself now. They did not offer to pay for them. A few months ago, I went there to drop off some used oil. I was rudely told my a tech that they do NOT accept used oil for disposal. I informed him that I have been dropping it off there for years. Unbelieveably, he got even more rude and said "I have been working here for 15 years, and we never accept used oil!" I pulled out my phone and showed him the corporate Firestone website which says they will GLADLY accept used oil, and that if he has been there for 15 years, he really should know the policy. He muttered something about "it must be a new policy". The latest and worst case of their incompetence was last week. I took my Dodge Challenger SRT to them for an annual inspection, brake and coolant flush. After I got the car home, it sat in my garage for two days. I then drove to a friends house in Southlake, and in traffic, my brake pedal suddenly went straight to the floor! I was somehow able to steer the car off the road and pulled over. I discovered leaking brake fluid from at least two brake bleeders, they were simply hand tightened and completely bled out! Obviously, the tech did not re-tighten them, and I could have been seriously hurt and my car trashed. I tightened the valves, added DOT brake fluid and took the car right back to Firestone. Jonothan, the manager on duty, was very polite and apologetic, and said "this simply cannot happen" and we will make it right. I had them redo the brake flush, and they comped me a free alignment. I will never trust Firestone Flower Mound with any of my cars again. Enough is enough. I live very close to them and it was convenient to drop the cars off there for work, but I completely lost trust in their mechanics. Folks, judge for yourself. Crooks!!! I had some weird vibrations while driving. Took it here. They had my truck for 2 days. Said the problem was I needed 4 new tires, new breaks rotors, and an alignment. Said it would fix the fibrations. $3200 later pick up my truck. On the drive home still vibrating. Went back right away took a tech for a ride, he did not feel what I was talking about. Took another tech he felt it did not know what is was but could feel it. They kept it another day.... then well gotta keep it a few more days to have a certain mechanic look at it. Ok... i was done why did they have it for so long and had done literally nothing. They had it for a week.. I went and picked it up to take it to another place. Went to dealership... i took the tech for a ride and the very 1st time he felt it knew it was my transmission failing!! This guy knew in 5 min what it probably was. The next day he confirmed it was the transmission. Firestone cheated me out of my money by lying about the repairs or they are just completely incompetent. Or Both...
