If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Firestone Flower Mound has been nothing short of infuriating--poor service, a complete lack of accountability, and absolutely no response to my complaint. I brought my 2019 Infiniti QX60 in on July 16, 2024, for front brake service, which cost me $653.97. Shortly after, my wife noticed squeaking, so I returned on July 30--they checked but claimed there was no issue. The squeaking continued, and I came back two more times (within months) only to be told the same thing: "No problem found." By March 6, 2025, not only were the brakes still squeaking, but I also noticed shaking at high speeds. Again, Firestone claimed everything was fine and merely lubricated the brakes. At that point, I had completely lost confidence in their work and took the car to Christian Brothers Automotive on March 19. They immediately found that the front brakes needed to be replaced--less than nine months after Firestone supposedly installed new ones! I paid $588.78 to have the job done properly. This leaves two possibilities: Firestone never actually replaced my brakes in July and charged me for work they didn't do. They used subpar parts that wore out in an unreasonably short amount of time. I sent a formal complaint to both the store and Firestone corporate on March 21, 2025, requesting a refund for the faulty service. No one has responded. Not the store. Not corporate. Nothing. This is completely unacceptable. If a company refuses to acknowledge blatant service failures, they don't deserve anyone's business. I will never return to Firestone, and I strongly urge others to avoid this location--unless you enjoy paying hundreds of dollars for poor workmanship and zero accountability.

I've been coming to this store for over 20 years, however this is likely my last visit. Note; I rarely leave bad the reviews, so this is an exception. Obviously, I used to get really good service here, or wouldn't have been back for over 20 years. However, for the last several years, that has not been the case. I chalked some of it up to Covid, however that's mostly behind us. In the last 20 years I put tires on every car (for my family of five), and had numerous repairs and alignments done here (spent 10s of thousands of $$). Recently, I was told getting the Firestone credit card would benefit my status, and I did. However... While driving back from McKinney yesterday, I hit something in the road. A few minutes later my tire light came on, and I pulled over at a service station... my tire was down to 20 pounds of pressure. I filled it up, and drove it to this store. All I needed was the tire repaired or replaced. It was around 11 AM, and they told me they weren't sure if they could get to it that day. They did not. It's difficult for me (as a long-term customer) to believe they couldn't have figured out a way to get my vehicle back on the road, for a flat, within a 24 hour period. 31 hours later, I'm told that I had sidewall damage and that I will need a new tire. They close in under 45 minutes, hopefully I'll be leaving with my truck. Last time I was here, I realized that one of my hubs was missing the next day after I got my truck back. I called them, and they assured me that it wasn't them, and there wasn't anything they could do for me. That was annoying! I had to go to Toyota and buy a new one myself. Additionally, I know they're in business to make money, and sell things... But they're constantly hitting me with all kinds of things that they suggest I can do by vehicle, up selling. I'm done coming here, clearly CustomerService is a thing of the past for them, I'll definitely be looking for someplace else to go

But NOW? new manager and it's like a whole different dimension. I pulled up for my oil change and was greeted like I was rolling into the Four Seasons (if that's a thing for oil changes). I was even asked if I wanted some water while I waited. Gasp. The new manager runs this place like he's conducting an orchestra of dipsticks and wrenches. The crew's efficient, polite, and didn't try to upsell me on windshield wipers I just bought yesterday. The whole vibe is less "grease pit of doom" and more "pit crew at the Indy 500." I actually left in a good mood after an oil change--let that sink in. Long story short: 10/10, would recommend. Old manager was a sitcom, new manager is a Netflix documentary--organized, calm, and way better for my blood pressure.

They drained my oil, removed my air filters, and charged me full price--then told me they didn't have the filters and might find them "somewhere in DFW." I sat in 100° heat for over an hour with no real solution. When I asked for a refund on the filters so I could leave, I was told it would take two weeks and that they'd have to charge me again for the whole service (over $200). Corporate never answered their hotline. Completely unprofessional, misleading, and a total waste of time. I will never return.

Only to find out these employees damaged my oil pan bolt or oil pan and now it needs to be replaced completely, which is looking around close to another $1000. When I arrived back at the location, the manager swears that my car was already leaking and typed up some code in his computer and shoved the paper in my face, claiming that they explained this to me before handed that they shouldn't have done the oil change, but did anyway. 1. If you shouldn't do an oil change, why do one? To which the managers response was "With people like me telling them no doesnt go well" 2. If my car was leaking this much within a matter of minutes (see attached photo of oil puddle) why would you fill it up or do an oil change knowing it would be empty in less than a half hour ??? Then i ask his employee if the he heard the manager tell me the car was already leaking.. he says yes.. lol such a joke.. the manager says out his own mouth he never told me anything he told his employee to tell me SO NOONE TOLD ME ANYTHING! This manager needs to be fired. There are so many reviews for this location of similar situations happening. Something needs to be done. I don't care if I need to take it to the news. I don't care if we need to take it to small claims. Something needs to be done and I'm not going to stop. On a trip back from OU she called saying something was dragging from the bottom and had pulled into a truck stop. I drove to Oklahoma got under the car and what was hanging was the lower splash shield which screws to the bottom of the chassis. Now here's what's relevant, to do a full oil change the lower splash shield must come off. . The following day after buying a new splash shield i jacked up the car and went to remove the damaged existing shield. Thats when I noticed the existing shield was missing attaching bolts and worse had been partly zip tied to the front air dam.. Final thought I had, who last serviced this car before our kiddo went off for her junior year at OU, Firestone in town. I never brought it up because I wasn't gonna ever go back there again. This was one of a succession of things that made me think. This was not a place I wanted to do business with any further. Many times we've had to take the car back so they could repair their own work. On March 1, we took a car in to have a rattling noise checked, for tire rotation and oil change; simple tasks for most shops right? The shop lied about performing the courtesy tire rotation that comes with purchasing their tires, and charged me for the full synthetic oil change that they never did. We ended up at Take 5 to get that simple task done but after looking at other reviews on various sites and the BBB site (F rating), I don't know how we were ever coming here in the first place. Don't contact corporate as they don't care either. To fix the rattle, they wanted $1600+ to replace front control arms and rear shocks. Needless to say, we'll never visit another location. UPDATE: I've been in contact with "socialcare@bfrc.com" for weeks and have been assured I'll receive a call from Firestone. No communication from the store or anyone else outside of "socialcare@bfrc.com" in weeks of correspondence. 3/25/26 Update: The vehicle has now gone through 2 visits at a 3rd party shop to perform extensive inspections to ascertain the source of the rattling. Firestone's assessment was that the front control arms / ball joints be replaced at $942.98 and for some odd reason, the rear shocks also be replaced at $627.38. That was Firestone's fix. The actual fix? $70 in MISSING hardware from the left front brake assembly! This practice lines up with everything I've read online. Assess and assign ridiculous amounts to fix the problem hoping it will. Had I agreed to the work with Firestone, the rattling would still be there. Do not take your vehicle here. If it's their tires you're after, go to Discount tire. At least there you won't walk out with thousands in recommendations on issues that don't exist.
