We were in our first leg of a roadtrip when the car started shaking. I quickly looked up the nearest tire shop that was open at 7am and we headed there. Ben immediately helped us out and diagnosed the issue which was very very unbalanced tires. He quickly fixed the issue and we were out of there in 30 minutes! He handled the situation with urgency and professionalism and even though he was slammed he made time for us. We will from now on be going to the Firestone where I live in San Diego because this was such a great experience. Thanks Ben!!! read more

Service was amazing so happy I went with Firestone for my new tires. Frank helped us out tremendously, we used to buy tires through Costco but now we will go nowhere else! Thank you so much for valuing us as customers and taking care of our vehicle. I also purchased the lifetime alignment which is a great deal. Thank you Frank read more

Update to review: corporate Firestone got in touch and told me a store manager would be in contact. No one ever reached out so I told them that and SIX more time they told me a new people would be in contact and nothing happened. I replied to them each time telling them I wanted a refund for the messed up alignment, which I have the paper to prove was messed up, and they finally just stopped replying to my emails. Work corporate customer service I've ever seen. read more

Quick service and let me know about several problems from another mechanic. Informative and helpful! Frank was fantastic!

I went here for an oil change and tire rotation. They had my vehicle in the bay on the lift for two hours. A couple of days later i noticed oil spots on my driveway. They didn't tighten my new oil filter all the way. I took my vehicle to Meineke at 1251 N Escondido Blvd. Where they confirmed the oil filter was leaking, fixed it, and topped my oil off, all for free. What?! Let's hear it for Meineke! Stoked. read more

I had my wheels and tires installed at Firestone, but soon after, I noticed strange noises coming from the wheels. Upon taking my car to Lexus for a check-up, I found out that some of the lug nuts were loose, which is a significant safety concern. I hope Firestone addresses this issue so it doesn't happen to others. Additionally, the shop did not bother to remove the grease used to install the tires on the wheels to the point where they dried up and it took significant effort for me to remove it. I would not recommend getting any service done at this location. read more

Called ahead and made an appointment with Ben to bring my 2014 Cadillac XTS Platinum with 109k miles in for an inspection with recommendations and a quote for potential work to compare against the dealer quote. In this day and age it is important to get a couple quotes for preventative maintenance in order to make the best financial decisions. It was easy to get an appointment a couple hours in advance by calling and speaking with Ben (who has been at this location for some time). The price for the complete car care package at Firestone is very reasonable at $9.99. I have previously used this location with other vehicles and had a positive experience. Firestone offered a great second opinion and I was able to get all of the work done on my vehicle same day. Got a ride home and back to the shop. Ben and the team have earned my loyalty. I even added a Dexos 1 synthetic oil change! No need to go to the dealer!!! Thank you-Firestone Complete Auto Care! read more

I feel very misled. Told my bill was a certain amount only to pu my car and it being $150 more and the extra charges are ridiculous. Second time they've attempted to upsell me On top of that. I cannot continue to take my car there. read more

Fantastic experience here! Literally popped my fire like 300 yards from the shop and was able to roll the car in carefully, and they were very quick to help me out in such last minute notice. Great service, appreciated it! read more

I really don't want to put a star to this. Went to this place and I was waiting inside for someone to help me. One person said the big guy who was outside will. The big guy comes inside and just ignored me. He could've at the least say something that he was just finishing a task and will be able to help. But nothing. It was as if I wasn't there. Totally rude to start with. I left to another tire place where I was greeted with a friendly attitude and helped me immediately even when they were not officially open yet. Great, friendly service is important to get customers. read more

I've been bringing my vehicles and recommending my friends bring their vehicles to this place for 15 years. First Louie ran it, then Paul, and now Ben's turn for the last eight years or so; and Ben is amazing. As a retired business consultant who has run a few companies, I have hired and trained many people, and many salespeople, so I know a consummate professional when I see one. I also know the difference between someone who's trying to sell me something and someone who is using their expertise to look out for my best interest; it is this quality that has made me so comfortable in referring friends and employees. Many of my female employees shared with me the trepidation that they had in going to places like this. Understandably, they were afraid they were going to be "sold"; told to buy things that they didn't understand and weren't sure they really needed. Again, this is why I never hesitated to send them to Ben. Like any automobile owner, I've spent more time there that I would have wished; but better there than the dealer. This means I have seen how he treats and interacts with the customers, and have always been impressed with how courteous, knowledgeable, patient and professional he is. It would be very difficult to put a number on how much time and money that Ben, along with his longtime number one wrench Jesus, has saved me over the years. My thanks go out to Ben and his team; Firestone is truly fortunate to have them representing them. read more

I had a leak in one of my tires that needed replacement or patching. They didn't have my tire size in stock so I went ahead with the patch. The leak was found and patched in a reasonable amount of time. This was done for $20. A small price to pay to restore a tire with lots of tread left. Ellie the "Service Advisor" was courteous and informative. Overall this was a positive experience. read more

Great experience Knowledgeable mechanics Definitely recommend No BS here like other stores Other stores told me the tires were too big to do an alignment. All the Firestones have the same equipment. read more

Unfortunately while driving home with my family, we had a tire blowout. I called around to find the same replacement tire for our vehicle and spoke to Ellie Martinez who said they had the tire in stock. We got to the Firestone Complete Care and Ellie greeted us there. Even though the shop was very busy, Ellie accommodated us and a short time later we were back on the road. Ellie was pleasant, helpful and caring during this entire experience. In these times, it is refreshing to find someone who is truly dedicated to customer service and we appreciate Ellie's level of care during this experience. read more

I took my car in yesterday (1/28/23) at 2:30 pm for a synthetic oil change. Today (1/29/23) I checked the oil on the car, and it was completely overfilled. I had to get it drained. I used to use Express Tire in Poway and in Rancho Bernardo almost exclusively, but hadn't yet used firestone since their acquisition of Express. I swapped upper and lower arms on my Silverado yesterday as well as installed a leveling kit and was in dire need of an alignment after doing so. I was going to wait until the next day, but remembered this location and since I was nearby decided to drop by. All of the staff was very professional and they got my truck in and out in less than an hour. The alignment they did was perfect and they also helped answer some questions regarding tire size now that I've leveled out my truck. Really appreciate the expediency and the effectiveness of the staff here. This location itself is kind of off he beaten path for me, but reaffirmed that Firestone will take care of me just as Express did for the past 10 years or so. Thanks Firestone Escondido! read more

So bring vehicle in for 20,000 mile inspection. Im not even 2 blocks from leaving there and the tire pressure light comes on. This is suppose to be a company that checks everything. They rotated the tires and couldn't make sure everything was OK? How do you really know they checked everything else? You don't. read more

My wife's car overheated on her way into work, we had it towed to Firestone because it was close to our home and neither my wife or I could leave work. Ben called me right away and let me know they got it there and would get to it as soon as they could. The car ended up needing a new water pump, thermostat, hoses, full radiator service (flush and fill). They were able to complete all the work the next day, they even stayed a little late finishing up. Thanks alot guys! Excellent customer service. read more

Manny has excellent customer service. He explained what tires I could replace as a minimum and the full replacement. He suggested an alignment and then after checking it on the machine said it was in the green and not needed. I will start taking all my cars there for service and tires. He priced the tires less than the online price and provided an oil change coupon. First honest car guy I have met in some time! read more

Friendly staff, not so friendly prices. My husband was coming here for a while because it's near his work. The prices have always bothered me, but this last time I had to ask him to outright stop going here ever. He comes home and hands me the recommendation list and receipt for me to look over since I know more about the car, and I'm taken aback. I just stared at the paper for a good few minutes rereading it in shock at how much they wanted to repair and how much they were trying to rip him off just cause he doesn't know anything about cars. Shame on you jerks. You recommend 8 repairs that literally only one of them needed done at the time of recommendation and tried to swipe him for almost $4000. You guys suck and are horrid people. I have a bad back and had to check everything out myself which ended up causing me more aches, but saved me from the headache of him worrying these were legitimate problems. We've switched to a local company instead now. read more

This used to be an Express Tire until Firestone bought it. Service advisor Wes was friendly and, as a long time Firestone customer, gave me a discount on both the synthetic oil change and lifetime alignment on our car. As far as I know, Firestone is the only outfit left that will sell you a lifetime alignment. All work was completed satisfactorily within a couple hours. This is for a relatively new car still under factory warranty but for routine maintenance I prefer to go to Firestone instead of the dealer. Same service lower price. read more

$1200 for brakes? Don't ever go here. They'll rob you!!!!! Took my truck in to get all the brake work done and they charged me $800. Absolutely ridiculous! If it could be a 0 star it would be....We ordered tires on Thursday of last week for Saturday appt. Called Saturday morning and NO tires. They said they'd call when they were in. NEVER called! Called Sunday and they offered 15% off for the waiting. Called today tires were in. They ordered the WRONG rated tires! Said screw it and decided to take the wrong tire. While trying to seat the tire they BLEW IT UP because they inflated the tire to 120PSI! The MANAGER said they DO NOT know HOW TO MEASURE WHEELS, to double check wheel size! How do you NOT know how to measure wheels????? After all of that they sent us to Discount Tire because they DO NOT know what they are doing! Now let me say, the communication of this place, at least for us, has been awful EVERYTIME we get tires from them. They say we will call you back and they NEVER do! This is our 3rd bad experience with this place!!!!!! Oh, yeah, didn't offer to make anything right because they feared for their safety after THEY inflated the tire to 120 PSI and blew it up, when the max is around 80 PSI!!!!!! Hmmmmmm, maybe a call to OSHA is necessary too!!!!!! read more

Set up an appointment for 9:30 am for alignment and got to this place at 9:10. I was told that this should not take long because there wasn't a lot of cars waiting. Came back after 2 hours, my car has not been touched and when I asked when can they do the service they told me that there were 2 cars ahead. What is the point of setting up an appointment when they can't do the service on the scheduled time. It wasted my time and my day. Would not recommend going to this place. Save your time and go somewhere else who would value your time. Im a valued firestone customer since 2010 and never had a problem like this before. read more

Had 4 new tires installed here. Service Advisor Paul made it a good experience. He kept me informed about how things were going. He didn't push back when I declined additional offerings (lifetime wheel alignment, or roadside hazard protection). Made sure I got all that I wanted and nothing I didn't. As I watched, he was attentive to each customer, asking good questions to make sure he provided correct answers, reviewed options available for each customer's requested service, updating them with status of their vehicle service, being attentive to folks needs. Good man. read more

"How To Lose A Longtime Customer", or "Why I'm Done With Firestone Complete Auto Care"... I've been doing business with this outfit since they moved into the space formerly occupied by Express Tire. Tires? I've bought two new sets of four. Alignment? Bought that too. Oil changes? More than I can count. Recommended friends and family spend their money here, too? Plenty of them. Allowed Firestone's flyers to be placed in our business? Sure did. But I can assure you that the SS Goodwill has sailed. I'm done, done, DONE with these guys, and here's why... A "Check Engine Oil LEVEL" warning message appeared on my dashboard last Friday afternoon. Since I work a few hundred feet away, I [foolishly] decided to stop by my trusty Firestone Complete Auto Care and see about a quick oil change. On arrival, I explained the warning light message and ask The Firestone Ambassador (not!) if he could squeeze me in for an oil change. Since it was 5 p.m., and they were servicing two other vehicles, he declined. As a compromise, I asked him if he could simply (kindly) top off the oil (turns out I was two quarts low) until I could return for an oil change the next morning. I made it especially clear that I was NOT ASKING FOR FREE OIL, rather that I WOULD GLADLY PURCHASE ANY OIL that he would sell me in my hour of need. His reply was a flat "We don't sell oil." Twice. Needless to say, I won't be back to this struggling little establishment who's representative doesn't seem to realize that his tired little store does not have a monopoly on oil change services in Escondido. Okay, pal, you win. You didn't lift a finger to help me when you could. I get it. Just know that I'll be revising my endorsement of your petty little shop when I send a copy of this review to my friends and family that I stupidly recommended use this place. read more

Freaking best customer service experience, I have had at any business in forever! No joke! And I only went for the free brake inspection, and they knew that when i made my appointment! From the phone call to the to the exit! I let them know that I needed to just get the estimate so i would know ow much $ to get together, and, that i needed whatever time slot that would allow my wait to be as little as possible since i would be there with a 4 yr. old. This was all accommodated! I was explained everything in layman's terms, they didn't try to pull one over on me (and I know some stuff about cars, shops, & up selling) And they did NOT try to pressure me AT ALL! They were all men, and great to my granddaughter, they were friendly, greeted everyone that walked in that door immediately and answered that phone promptly! It didn't ring off the hook! They were concerned I was leaving with my breaks the way they were, but that's all! Told me to be careful! This was just yesterday. I had to leave this review, and i haven't even showered yet! LOL....I just wish I wasn't a broke ass grandma filling in as parent. Thank You guys! Oh, she snuck the rest of the lollipops out of my purse before day end. Brat...lol read more

So I called to get my Volvo alignment and they SAID they would honor the express life time alignment... We had the original payment paper with us..
