No one ever reached out so I told them that and SIX more time they told me a new people would be in contact and nothing happened. I replied to them each time telling them I wanted a refund for the messed up alignment, which I have the paper to prove was messed up, and they finally just stopped replying to my emails. I went here for an oil change and tire rotation. They had my vehicle in the bay on the lift for two hours. A couple of days later i noticed oil spots on my driveway. They didn't tighten my new oil filter all the way. I took my vehicle to Meineke at 1251 N Escondido Blvd. Where they confirmed the oil filter was leaking, fixed it, and topped my oil off, all for free. What?! Let's hear it for Meineke! I had my wheels and tires installed at Firestone, but soon after, I noticed strange noises coming from the wheels. Upon taking my car to Lexus for a check-up, I found out that some of the lug nuts were loose, which is a significant safety concern. I hope Firestone addresses this issue so it doesn't happen to others. Additionally, the shop did not bother to remove the grease used to install the tires on the wheels to the point where they dried up and it took significant effort for me to remove it. Called ahead and made an appointment with Ben to bring my 2014 Cadillac XTS Platinum with 109k miles in for an inspection with recommendations and a quote for potential work to compare against the dealer quote. In this day and age it is important to get a couple quotes for preventative maintenance in order to make the best financial decisions. It was easy to get an appointment a couple hours in advance by calling and speaking with Ben (who has been at this location for some time). The price for the complete car care package at Firestone is very reasonable at $9.99. I have previously used this location with other vehicles and had a positive experience. Firestone offered a great second opinion and I was able to get all of the work done on my vehicle same day. Got a ride home and back to the shop. Ben and the team have earned my loyalty. First Louie ran it, then Paul, and now Ben's turn for the last eight years or so; and Ben is amazing. As a retired business consultant who has run a few companies, I have hired and trained many people, and many salespeople, so I know a consummate professional when I see one. I also know the difference between someone who's trying to sell me something and someone who is using their expertise to look out for my best interest; it is this quality that has made me so comfortable in referring friends and employees. I really don't want to put a star to this. Went to this place and I was waiting inside for someone to help me. One person said the big guy who was outside will. The big guy comes inside and just ignored me. He could've at the least say something that he was just finishing a task and will be able to help. But nothing. It was as if I wasn't there. I had a leak in one of my tires that needed replacement or patching. They didn't have my tire size in stock so I went ahead with the patch. The leak was found and patched in a reasonable amount of time. This was done for $20. A small price to pay to restore a tire with lots of tread left. I used to use Express Tire in Poway and in Rancho Bernardo almost exclusively, but hadn't yet used firestone since their acquisition of Express. I swapped upper and lower arms on my Silverado yesterday as well as installed a leveling kit and was in dire need of an alignment after doing so. I was going to wait until the next day, but remembered this location and since I was nearby decided to drop by. All of the staff was very professional and they got my truck in and out in less than an hour. The alignment they did was perfect and they also helped answer some questions regarding tire size now that I've leveled out my truck. Really appreciate the expediency and the effectiveness of the staff here. The prices have always bothered me, but this last time I had to ask him to outright stop going here ever. He comes home and hands me the recommendation list and receipt for me to look over since I know more about the car, and I'm taken aback. I just stared at the paper for a good few minutes rereading it in shock at how much they wanted to repair and how much they were trying to rip him off just cause he doesn't know anything about cars. Shame on you jerks. You recommend 8 repairs that literally only one of them needed done at the time of recommendation and tried to swipe him for almost $4000. You guys suck and are horrid people. I have a bad back and had to check everything out myself which ended up causing me more aches, but saved me from the headache of him worrying these were legitimate problems. This used to be an Express Tire until Firestone bought it. Service advisor Wes was friendly and, as a long time Firestone customer, gave me a discount on both the synthetic oil change and lifetime alignment on our car. As far as I know, Firestone is the only outfit left that will sell you a lifetime alignment. All work was completed satisfactorily within a couple hours. This is for a relatively new car still under factory warranty but for routine maintenance I prefer to go to Firestone instead of the dealer. Same service lower price. read more

Said screw it and decided to take the wrong tire. While trying to seat the tire they BLEW IT UP because they inflated the tire to 120PSI! The MANAGER said they DO NOT know HOW TO MEASURE WHEELS, to double check wheel size! How do you NOT know how to measure wheels????? After all of that they sent us to Discount Tire because they DO NOT know what they are doing! Now let me say, the communication of this place, at least for us, has been awful EVERYTIME we get tires from them. They say we will call you back and they NEVER do! This is our 3rd bad experience with this place!!!!!! Set up an appointment for 9:30 am for alignment and got to this place at 9:10. I was told that this should not take long because there wasn't a lot of cars waiting. Came back after 2 hours, my car has not been touched and when I asked when can they do the service they told me that there were 2 cars ahead. What is the point of setting up an appointment when they can't do the service on the scheduled time. It wasted my time and my day. Would not recommend going to this place. He didn't push back when I declined additional offerings (lifetime wheel alignment, or roadside hazard protection). Made sure I got all that I wanted and nothing I didn't. "How To Lose A Longtime Customer", or "Why I'm Done With Firestone Complete Auto Care"... I've been doing business with this outfit since they moved into the space formerly occupied by Express Tire. Tires? I've bought two new sets of four. Alignment? Bought that too. Oil changes? More than I can count. Recommended friends and family spend their money here, too? Plenty of them. Allowed Firestone's flyers to be placed in our business? Sure did. But I can assure you that the SS Goodwill has sailed. I'm done, done, DONE with these guys, and here's why... A "Check Engine Oil LEVEL" warning message appeared on my dashboard last Friday afternoon. Since I work a few hundred feet away, I [foolishly] decided to stop by my trusty Firestone Complete Auto Care and see about a quick oil change. On arrival, I explained the warning light message and ask The Firestone Ambassador (not!) if he could squeeze me in for an oil change. Since it was 5 p.m., and they were servicing two other vehicles, he declined. As a compromise, I asked him if he could simply (kindly) top off the oil (turns out I was two quarts low) until I could return for an oil change the next morning. I made it especially clear that I was NOT ASKING FOR FREE OIL, rather that I WOULD GLADLY PURCHASE ANY OIL that he would sell me in my hour of need. His reply was a flat "We don't sell oil." Twice. Needless to say, I won't be back to this struggling little establishment who's representative doesn't seem to realize that his tired little store does not have a monopoly on oil change services in Escondido. Okay, pal, you win. You didn't lift a finger to help me when you could. I get it. Freaking best customer service experience, I have had at any business in forever! No joke! And I only went for the free brake inspection, and they knew that when i made my appointment! From the phone call to the to the exit! I let them know that I needed to just get the estimate so i would know ow much $ to get together, and, that i needed whatever time slot that would allow my wait to be as little as possible since i would be there with a 4 yr. old. This was all accommodated! I was explained everything in layman's terms, they didn't try to pull one over on me (and I know some stuff about cars, shops, & up selling) And they did NOT try to pressure me AT ALL! They were all men, and great to my granddaughter, they were friendly, greeted everyone that walked in that door immediately and answered that phone promptly! It didn't ring off the hook! They were concerned I was leaving with my breaks the way they were, but that's all! Told me to be careful! This was just yesterday. I had to leave this review, and i haven't even showered yet! I have purchased several life time alignments through express.. the last one in 2017 Not knowing they where changing to Firestone .. So I called to get my Volvo alignment and they SAID they would honor the express life time alignment... We had the original payment paper with us.. Well not only did they NOT honor it they told us express didn't have life time in 2017 (which is a lie) They tired to sell us another one!! You lost our service for sure.. read more
