I went on Wednesday afternoon for an oil change and was told they could not take me until Saturday at 8:00 a.m. On Saturday I arrived a couple of minutes early and told them I'd wait for it. At 10:00 a.m. I was still waiting. I walked back up to the desk and was told that a clouple of the bays were tied up with cars that had been left overnight so they were running slow. what kind of a lame excuse is that. no credibility on appointments (they themselves scheduled). no respect for customer's time. don't ever bother scheduling an appt. here. read more

After scheduling an appointment to have a Full Vehicle Inspection to confirm issues i knew existed, i had a high level of expectations from ASE CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS. I was severely and aggressively disappointed that found one mediocre issue which does not need any attention at the moment, and one issue that a Toddler could find that needs attention but they said they could not work on it today, or that they could not use the parts i already had to fix it. They wanted to sell me tires but they did not have Rims to sell with them. They also could not do the work today for the tires. When a Customer comes to "Firestone Full Service" location, the expectations are that they are FULL SERVICE and can repair any issues that are found during the appointment. I was looking forward to having my concerns not only confirmed but for them to have a Plan in order how to resolve those issues, TODAY. I will not go back nor will i recommend FIRESTONE to anyone. read more

If you have a company vehicle, do kot bring it here. Took car in for service, at 8 am. Told the guy if any issues, call the third-party service company. He says we din't even talk to them anymore. Its all done electronically. I called at 11 AM and they said they still have not heard back from third-party and they say they called and that no one is answering are closed and no one is answering. I called the third-party service. They answered immediately and they looked in the system and they say that all the items have been approved . The third-party agency says she will call Firestone to let them know everything's been approved. Not ready till 4 PM. Wait for them to call me I wait for a call but nothing. I call at 4 PM and they tell me the car is ready. "We called you" I look on my cell phone. There is no messages . When I go pick up the car. They tell me "Oh we called them and they couldn't find our ticket so I had to redo a whole different ticket". Obviously somebody was not telling the truth. This place is the worst customer service ever!!! I brought in a car for a quick state inspection. They told me that it would take about an hour. No issues. I left the car there. I came back over 2 hours later and it wasn't done and they told me it wasn't a priority since they don't really make any money on inspections. I asked them how much longer and they told me a couple hours. (Keep in mind this takes only about 20 minutes to do). So after another two hours I called back and they told me they hadn't gotten to it. So I told them to forget it. I would come and pick it up and take it elsewhere. Well, as I am going to pick it up, they call and said it was done. Unbelievable!! I will never use them again for anything (we have used them for over a year for all our vehicles) Customer service is EVERYTHING! Don't go here. Had an alignment appointment at 10, sat there until 11:30 when the brought the truck around I noticed the didn't rotate the tires like I asked. Sat there for another 25 minutes once I left I looked they only rotated the fronts side to side, that's not what I asked for. Pretty and confusing business practices. I scheduled an appointment for 4pm and got a confirmation. Then they called to tell me that they were already booked for that time but said I could bring it in at that moment? When I got there it was pretty dead. I came in for an oil change and they recommended about $800+ worth of maintenance for 2 struts and 2 tires on a Toyota. They charge $82 for a synthetic oil change, which I had a coupon for to $54.99. I somehow still ended up overpaying even with the coupon. Pretty bad experience. Not really the employees fault when it comes to deceptive pricing. More like corporate level tactics. read more

I made an appointment for Monday at 8 am thinking it may speed up the process. I was a little late to the appointment probably 20-25 mins. I wasn't able to drop it off so I stayed, thinking it may take a couple of hours. The guy at the desk checked my car and verified my information including my phone number. It took them forever; 6 hours and 50 mins to do two things. I wanted them to check my brakes because they were squeaking and change my oil. It took them so long to do those two things and didn't seem to care. The person at the desk saw me ALL DAY in the lobby as I was working on my computer. He asked me if he just spoke to me on the phone? No, I been here the whole time. He ended up having my phone number wrong ‍. When I drove off I noticed that they did not put a Firestone next oil change sticker on my windshield, that's important because that's the easiest way to remind the customer when it's time to change oil and where they went last time. All of this shit is common sense and I don't think corporate would approve any of these issues It could be time to search for new mechanic shop with better service. read more

The entire staff is friendly and professional, especially Chris, Mike & David. I initially went to this location because I was told by another mechanic I needed car repair for a specific part. I had that part inspected at the Firestone on Mesa and the staff at Firestone cleared up all my confusion and told me I didnt need that repair the other place was claiming. Way to many negative reviews on here about them taking to long. It's an auto shop. It's gonna take some time, I worked with Pete at the front desk. I have a 21 year old car, that I mostly work on myself. I explained exactly what I needed checked and what I needed done. Unlike most auto shops they did something shocking; they did exactly what I asked. They told me what they thought needed to be fixed and didn't try to upset me any other BS, even though they could have. Lord knows there's plenty to do on a 21 year old car. They were straight with me and to the point. It's a mark of a good shop when they know how to read their customer. They didn't treat me like a fool, and they respected my requests with what I wanted done to my car. From my experience, this is a trustworthy shop. read more

I wish I could give this place zero. I went in for an oil change and inspection. After that, I noticed oil leaks in my garage, I took it back. They wanted to replace the gaskets on my oil pan. I never had a leak until I took it to them for an oil change. I decided not to let them touch it again. I took it to the dealer. My dealer replaced the oil pressure switch because it was leaking. It did not solve the issue. I had additional leaks on the cover of the timing chain and the oil pan. It was suggested that perhaps someone had tried to forcefully remove the plug and resulted in additional damage on other parts. Do not take your car to this location even for the simplest care of your car. I am now looking at spending over 1000 bucks to replace all the damage parts. read more

With that being said the work they do is slow! Took over 4 hours to have a set of tires installed and aligned. They failed to keep me updated on the status of my vehicle despite sitting in their waiting area for over 4 hours! They offered no compensation for the prolonged wait time and only gave a brief "sorry for the wait, your vehicle was difficult to work on." Needless to say I won't be returning to firestone for any work anytime soon. There are plenty of other local options that I will be supporting in the future. Very disappointed. read more

Wish I could give this place zero stars.Took my car in for a rattling noise near the muffler, 6 hours later they told me I had an engine problem and new brakes and charged me $1,300 for all the work they did. I paid it since it's my only car and I cannot afford to be without one, so I take the maintenance very seriously. On my drive home, the brakes were squeaking, rattling noise was still there. Had to take it back. All of a sudden they found another really "serious" problem with a belt and they replaced it for another couple of hundred dollars I pay it because at this point I've already been there waiting for 6 hours and I'm not wasting the rest of my day looking for another mechanic. Took it home, and the rattle is still there, brakes are still squeaking and a car is now rattling whenever I'm decelerating. IT'S GOTTEN WORSE. At this point I'm furious that I've put this much money into the car and it's gotten worse, plus it's my third time needing to take it to the shop and I'm terrified they will charge me again. So I take it to my usual firestone inside of ft. Bliss instead. Take it for a drive, they hear me out on all the issues and they fix it for free. They basically had to redo all the work that was done at this firestone. They redid the brakes and the alignment and the rattle was just a simple mount that was loose and they tightened. I'm so upset I paid so much, went two different times and wasted a total of 12 hours just to get my car back in worse condition. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service I received at this Firestone location. I made an appointment for 11:00AM for the following services. Oil change, battery replacement, air filter, and replace new lights. I dropped off my car and never got an update. I had to call several times to check the status. I finally received a call at 7:00pm letting me know it was ready. I assumed all the services had been completed since it had been there 8 hours. Come to find out none of the services except a shitty oil change had been done. The guy lied to our face and said they checked everything and that everything was fine. Well it wasn't, the battery was the main reason we took it in. Just to confirm we knew something was wrong with the battery, we drove to O'reileys and sure enough the battery was bad. My point to this complaint is, don't trust these guys to get the work done. They're unreliable and unprofessional. They lost my trust and I'm never coming here again. These guys were very accommodating with an appointment and took care of me-moreover I needed new tires even though I had bought tires about a year ago.
