I came to this Firestone location to get my car aligned after calling several other companies that were all booked for several days as well as another Firestone location that was closer to my location. I called and they said I could come right then. When I got there, we reviewed the pricing and options that I had to get for unlimited alignments. Admittedly, I rough on my car with all the speed bumps I go over and don't always slow down enough so I figured it would be best to get the lifetime. They were quick to get me all set up and my car back in the shop. I brought stuff with me do keep me busy, figuring I'd be there for a while but I actually wasn't there too long at all. I was very surprised and pleased. The tech that helped me at the counter also helped me put on the new windshield wipers that I had in my trunk but had not gotten around to putting on yet. read more

Was a customer of this tire store for several years; and family bought all of our tires there.. being sure to purchase their road hazard coverage just in case we have a flat or worse. Never had to use the coverage until today, when we went out of the house to discover one of our cars had a flat tire (note: we had just purchased two tires from them a month ago for this car). Luckily the car is a new model and comes with a portable air pump.... So we pumped up tire and drove it directly to this tire store and asked for help (today is Sunday) and their response "the first available day we can look at your tire will be next Tuesday"... but our tire damage warranty coverage is good at any Firestone Tire Store".... My response was that the tire is going flat and I need help today... but again they said "Sorry, we are too busy today"... So I took the car to their competitor down the street; and their competitor said they can look at it and fix the problem within the next hour! Please keep in mind that Firestone was never the cheapest store; and in fact the last time we bought tires for two different cars on the same day; and one representative gave us a good price and the other representative tried to gouge us ($500 quoted for the first car and the second guy later in the day tried to charge us $790 for two tires...). Not sure what changed or why they decided not to help when the little but important issues arose... but this store lost our business for life.... I bought two new tires October 22, 2024. I have been a loyal customer for at least ten years and use my car to see clients. After buying the tires I also replaced all four tire sensors at a cost of over $700. One of my new tires has a very slow leak. Every few days the tire sensor light comes on and I take out my tire pressure gauge and it's the same tire, one of the new ones I've purchased. I obviously purchased a defective tire. tThe store manager, Frank Martinez refuses to replace the tire and is one of the rudest man I've ever encountered. He talked down to me asking me if I knew how to use a tire gauge when they have to keep adding air to that one tire. I even gave him the cold air pressure of the tires and told him it was the same one He says he doesn't see any bubbles so there's nothing v wrong g with the tire. I would not recommend this business any longer ( been coming here for at least ten years but there were different people here) to anyone especially if you are a woman!! read more

Hello Neighbor, I scheduled an appointment with Firestone Dunedin FL almost a week in advance for a tire rotation. I showed up 20 minutes before-my schedule appointment and stood at the counter without even being acknowledged when finally the guy behind the counter ask if he could help me with something I said I have an appointment for tire rotation before my trip to AZ he told me they would try and get it in the shop in the next hour or so, but I have an appointment he said I'm sorry but they are running about an hour or two behind and I ask why they couldn't have called to let me know he said they don't do tha. I went to location because it was suggested by a relative. I made an appointment with Gary on Tuesday for Thursday at 2PM . I arrived early and gave Gary my information he did not see me on the schedule. When I told him Gary you set the appointment gave my phone number then he found me in the system. He is still getting use to the system since transferring in July. Kyle seems to be the mastermind of the outfit willing to go over and beyond for the customer. One customer was look for a specific Firehawk set of tires. Kyle searched the computer system and calls two stores to confirm they had the tires physically and tagged them to be transferred to the location for the customer. The technician Tommy was exceptional in service. The place only had two technicians and he brought my car in at the appointed time. He diagnosed the problem in a promptly time and finished the approved repairs with suggestions for the future. read more

Went here to have my tire patched they said it will be "good as new" 1.5 months later I'm at my original dealership because my patch is breaking and my tire is leaking air. I have tried calling multiple times to complain and no one answers the phone. Took 2 hours to patch the tire in the first place feel like it should be done right for that amount of time. read more

Honestly this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. This morning I had an appointment at 8:00am for an oil change. The door said they were open at 7am. The website said they were also open at 7am. I walked up to the door at 7:55am and the door was not unlocked. There was a man inside who was looking at me through the glass window who was staring at me while he was on his personal cellphone. I called the store number and he didn't answer even though I could hear the store phone ringing through the door. He walks up to the door at 8am and says, "we are only taking appointments today" and I replied, "yes I have an appointment at 8am." He walks back inside without inviting me in or holding the door open. He abruptly asks for my last name and then proceeds to say, "did you get everything fixed that we told you about last time?" I replied, "No, I took it to our family mechanic and I didn't need anything done." He then said, "are you staying or leaving?" And I replied, "leaving because I live right across the street." I then proceeded to ask how long it will take and he said, "well with the amount of stuff I have to do this morning probably about two hours minimum.." A friend referred me to this Firestone shop when I was purchasing new tires. Very easy to do business with.

I've been having trouble with my AC in my car for a while now. I went here trying to find a solution, which was promised to me. Ultimately, I was assured that the problem was not what I had thought it was, and the person who was helping me told me that the other shops I had been to were incompetent. This shop recharged my cars ac system, and they almost doubled the charge that it should be. The leak has never been faster than 6 months until now. Since I had them work on my car, my AC system shut down 2 days after (because they entirely overpressurized the system). Now, my ac is leaking 4 times as fast as it ever was before. I know this just sped up my time frame to fix my ac, but I payed $300 for them to break my car more than it was before. I am beyond unsatisfied with this service I received. I was assured that a master technician was looking at my car and would be able to fix it, but they made it worse. I would never recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I called at 3:30 as I was finishing up at the gym and it was not done. They said they got backed up and it would be another hour. Lori and I were going to a restaurant over in Oldsmar. I was driving our 2005 PT Cruiser in the parking lot. Went up on the curb with the right front tire. Heard it blow out. An amiable young Englishman changed our tire, putting on the "alleged" spare because it was 24 hours before we had planned to rejoin Triple-A. We gave him $20 and came home. Today, I did a search for tire places nearby and came up with three. Tire Kingdom, National Auto Service and Firestone. Figured out what tire I wanted by searching online and then called each one. * At Tire Kingdom, the guy on the phone seemed stoned and his price was $85 plus tax. * At National, the guy seemed pissed off that he got stuck answering the phone and he had a tire he could order which would be $88 plus tax or one he could put on today which would be $100 plus tax. * Called Firestone and a nice young man introduced himself as Dustin, listened to my specifications, answered my questions, told me it would be $73.53 plus tax. Said they weren't really busy so I could come by whenever I wanted. Naturally, I chose Dustin and Firestone. Like most adult males, I go into a auto repair place expecting to be ripped off, two-timed and taken to the cleaners. Sure enough, when I got there, Dustin was busy (it figures, I thought) so I talked to a guy named Ryan. He listened to my spiel, wrote up the order to match what Dustin said it would be and handed the keys to Mark, the actual mechanic. As expected, Mark found one thing unrelated that needed to be done and one thing very related that needed to be done and actually brought me a computer photo of my alignment to show that it needed to be aligned. (Not a surprise, as both Lori and I have driven up on our share of curbs.) Dustin and Ryan outlined exactly what each thing would cost and didn't hassle me when I agreed to the alignment but not a brake fluid flush (although they did give me the card which shows the exact condition of the fluid so I can do it later.) I was in and out of there in just over an hour and they handed me paperwork that showed what they did and what should be done and thanked me for coming by. I tell you this story because their boss is away on vacation and I can't tell him until he gets back. These three young guys did their job correctly, with a good attitude and they did not take undue advantage of me even though I'm an old man. This kind of service is to be praised because it is often rarely found. For that reason, and for no remuneration whatsoever, I recommend the Firestone location at 952 Patricia Ave (right off Main Street, behind the KFC) in Dunedin FL. Same day service. I had my car serviced at the Firestone location on Patricia Ave in Dunedin shortly after I arrived in FL from driving down from PA. I have since moved and have a routine mechanic at a reputable auto repair shop. They put on 2 new tires, however, could not do the alignment because of frozen tire rods. The cost did not fit my budget. I immediately went to Firestone, used my Firestone credit card, and received impeccable service from the mechanics, and front office reps Kyle and Gary who are professional, knowledgeable and honest. So I needed a wheel alignment done so I went ahead and set an appointment at Firestone at 12pm, I got there 10 minutes earlier, I was standing at the counter with no help whatsoever then a worker helped me and said if I can leave it and pick it up at 4pm. Which I did not like but it's all good I just needed it done that day. what's the point and doing an appointment ? . Anyway, I don't live far so I just go home. 4pm come by, I come in wait again. Then Sean the service manager talks to me, I tell him I'm here to pick up my car. He says "give him 15-20 minutes" I told him ok not a problem. 20 minutes go by and I seen the mechanic lift the vehicle up (thinking he's gonna drop it down and deliver it), nope, he just now started working on it. As he finishes, he goes and test drives it. I'm inside with Sean finishing up the paperwork. (4:50pm ish) ,He tells me that I have 40% left of thread on my tire and that I should consider getting new tires in the future. But I'm good as of right now. I told him Ok. When I was told the price I was fine with it he then asks me if I'd like to get a credit card with Firestone, I say no. He looks at me annoyed. He also was super uninterested the whole time as if he hates his job. The mechanic comes inside then Tells Sean he can't fix it today, Sean comes to me says I need to get new tires AND THEN fix it. And says to leave the car to add tires and align it the next day, I told him no and again Sean's looks at me disgusted or annoyed. You just told me I'm good with tires now you're telling me to get tires and alignment done. It's was 4:55pm, they closed at 5pm. It's not that I need tires right now it's just that it's late and they have to go. Which is why they wanted me to leave the car. Even though they had 4 hours and 50 minutes to get it done........ he then gave me my keys and just left to the counter saying nothing, I ask him a question then he responds again uninterested, annoyed, mad?...Moral of the story don't come here if you want to wait a lot and at the end not get your car fixed. The shop has gone down hill in the past year. Employee turnover is high because folks seem to get "promoted" all the time. Very bad experience for my wife recently. Took my car in about a 2 months ago and again a month ago spent $900+ went to get tires brakes my rotors resurfaced had my fuel injectors flushed did a full inspection. After leaving my brakes were making my entire tire turn black and were squeaking 10xs more then when i brought it in. Call and they changed them and had to resurface mt rotors again. Was also told with the inspection that i paid for everything was in great condition. I thought maybe I was just overthinking something was wrong with my car. Took it to the Toyota dealership to be sure I needed a new radiator, shocks, struts, engine gasket, spark plugs, my fuel injectors needed to be cleaned and i need new routers. Which i found hilarious. So i spent this money to have Firestone tell me what was wrong with my car for nothing, had them clean my fuel injectors for nothing and had them resurface my rotors down and not even do it right. I have tried to talk to talk to the district manager Cory but he apparently doesn't find a need to call me back I've called twice now and they said he would contact me in 48 hours. Called again today since its been another 48 hours and all hes done is made a case supposedly but hasn't called me so what the hell that is doing is a GRAND question. I've called corporate who is also absolutely no help. So since that is the case I've contacted the better business bureau to see if that will help me. I am beyond pissed off at how the do not care about their customers. DO NOT DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA BE SCREWED OVER!!!!! read more

I booked an appointment 24 hours in advance to get my oil changed, air filter changed and my tires rotated. I have a tall vehicle that is hard to put on the left. Collin warned me that he might not be able to do the tire rotation because of the size and weight of my vehicle. The problem was that it took him an hour and a half to tell me that this is going be a problem, and told me it would take another two hours to be able to rectify the situation. On top of that hedid not order the air filter yesterday and it would not be available in a timely fashion at this point. A little communication would've gone a long way. On more than one occasion I've taken my car in there after being told it needed a certain repair only have these guys tell me that it wasn't necessary. When he took it back to them to fix what they had done, they wouldn't honor their work and tried to charge him an additional $600 to fix their mistake. Now he has to park his truck and we can't afford to fix it due to their work. Either I have to quit my job so he can drive my car or get a title loan to pay to fix his truck due to them. I called for a quote on tires for our travel trailer ( camper) and spoke with Kyle regarding the size of the trailer, how it should be small and free of liquids etc. for the safety of the techs working to change the tires. I told him it was only 19 ft.and would be empty for the tire change. I stopped in the night before to see if the tires were as described they were the wrong ply and rating. They told me they would get the right tires by the next morning. I brought the trailer in the morning and placed it in front of the bay as instructed. Nobody would come out to guide me back as it is difficult to see. When I went inside to check in Kyle said you didn't say it was a camper even though I described it in detail with him on the phone.He had an attitude going and put CAMPER CAMPER on the work order. I had to ask for assistance with backing up to a safe distance from the work bay.The correct tires still had not arrived at this point and Kyle told me it would be ready for pickup by 1:00 or 2:00 pm . The point is very LARGE ATTITUDE for someone with a travel trailer no matter what size or how heavy it is. I did not have a good feeling about any of this when I left.They called me at 11:35am and told me it was ready for pick up. I checked the tires and they were correct. Kyle offered No product information such as care proper tire inflation, tire rotation,.what to do in a possible recall situation.He gave me as little information as possible but at this point changed his attitude considerably. The moral of this story is Don't break down with tire problems in front of this store because they will tell you that they Don't change tires for "Travel Trailers" RVs, Campers etc. Customer service was poor as I had to ask for help again in hooking up so I could leave.I have decided to :VOTE WITH MY FEET" as I will not be BACK!!! I brought my truck to firestone on feb.23,2018 952 Patricia ave Dunedin Fl.i arrived at 8:00am for an inspection as a result there was a list of things that i felt needed attention as per their report kyle who i thought was the store mgr. from what he said told me everything on list would be 4800.00 i did not agree to all work but did want to get fixed what i felt was most important i was told job would take 10 hours by Chiltons book i asked kyle to print me a written estimate so he then turned to another customer who he sold a set of tires while i waited i said to him i want to be able to see what cost what and i know what to bring he told me he's to busy and wrote 2596.00 on one of his buss. cards its now 10:15ish i told him to go ahead with work by the time i walked 4 blocks home my phone rings its kyle telling me ive got your brand spanking new stearing gear box here already starting on truck now ,but mechanic suggested to replace back shocks he says they are in worse shape then front i said no i want to complete front end work only at this time so now he says front shocks are not included in price he gave me so to the tune of another 261.10 i agreed to get job done so then at 6:30pm 8 hrs later a girl called and said my truck is done i said its dark now will come in morn. when kyle is there.3/24/18 i go to pick up truck .i look at work without even driving realized theres problems (multiple) which didnt suprise me since they were able to shave 2 hrs off job i ask mechanic to pull truck on lift after going over work for 2 hrs while i waited and dealt with mechanics pissy attitude telling me he spent 13 hrs fixing my truck i was supposed to get tire rotation with inspection which i had to remind him of omce again thinking now he got it right finally he took 1 tire off back put on front left other. NICE JOB i ask him how long have you been a.s.e certified he says im not and the first time ive done control arms was about a month ago in my driveway on my mustang that is still sitting waiting on other work and also tells me the control arms didnt need to be replaced as per what kyle told me this is the same un certified person who did my inspection tells me some parts are after market ,some are remanufactured once again i did not get written estimate so how would i know nobody was honest my truck was held at bay until I did sign but they probably did not know that the proof of that is on their security camera now bill is 2875.56 luckily i wrote a check got in truck went for ride whoa what happened its worse than when it went in i go back speak with kyle again he tells me mark dont work again till tues. i immediately stop payment. 2/27/18 i go back to store no kyle so i talk to guy who actually is the store manager who tells me how much of asshole and a low life for demanding that my truck be fixed right by someone cert. he tells me to get the fuck out of his store,i leave go home send firestone message couple days later get a call from a guy named cory says he's the regional mgr. i tell him i want to meet with you and let you see this work with your own eyes because thats what it will take to believe it he says I've been to the store got info and back in orlando as per our first conversation were in agreement that the comtrol arms only needed bushings that cost about 25.00 after 1400.00 was spent on arms he wanted me to bring truck back to same store my response NO WAY so he sets it up with me to have inspection at another store i call other store the mgr. tells me im gonna have to leave my truck with him and that im going to have to trust him my response thats what got me here to begin with i call cory back again he tried to tell me to bring my truck back to original store which is not going to happen why couldnt i get 1 of their supposed 4000 certified mechanics according to their tv ads one other funny bit for you cory the regional manager tells me that the manufacturer label on tires means nothing to them they use car manufacturers specs on door jamb whether tires and rims are factory or not . 4000 cert mechanics my ass nobody in this store is ( maybe certifiably incompetent) THATS FALSE ADVERTISING. I MAY HAVE A MESSED UP TRUCK TILL THIS GETS WORKED OUT. We brought our college age kid's truck in to check on it before he made the drive to Tallahassee. We thought the truck needed CV shafts and we were totally prepared to pay for them! I had a flat tire and went to Firestone to get it replaced. I didn't have much money so I only wanted the one tire. The manager told me that all 4 of my tires needed to be replaced. He showed me the tires which were, in fact, bald and cracking. There was also steel belting showing through some of them. The manager didn't have the tires I needed in stock, but he called around and found them at another shop. He said he would be able to pick them up on his way to work the next morning, but said he was really concerned for my safety in the meantime. He actually recommended some competitors in the area and said that he would rather me go to them and get the tires changed right away than drive around on unsafe tires. I did exactly that, and the price was about the same as what Firestone had quoted me so I think their prices are competitive. I was very impressed that someone was more concerned about my safety than profit and I plan on returning to Firestone the next time I need service. read more

Wish I had read Yelp before I took my car here. My car just "stopped" in Publix Grocery, and this was the closest place to tow. They called Firestone, and we put the keys in the slot @ 7:00 p.m. The following morning @ 7:00 a.m. they called to verify ownership. I stated it needed a battery...and I waited....at 11:30 a.m. I called back and they were "checking it." They said it was a battery and that it would run $209.00...I was in shock. They said it was an older car, and they couldn't get the less expensive ones anymore...I needed the car so I said o.k. At 2:30, I called to see if it was ready. Now apparently it needed an alternator......the final total was $800.00 !!!!! My son is in the automotive department of a National Car Company, and he is researching whom to report this too, and I am checking with the State of Florida. My analytical conclusion is that they treat the men fairly...but the women get nailed on the costs...BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!! read more
