Staff was very helpful and great service. I was just a walk in and left very satisfied.

Business hours state until 7pm. I came in 620 waited 20 min in line and was told they're closed. They did not bother to look at my tire pressure at all. I'll take my business elsewhere. Thank you for NOTHING!!! read more

Just went in because of a flat tire caused by a nail. Hoping for a quick patch up. Older dude with glasses up front barley looked at the tire and said it wasn't repairable . Hole was to big and the tire was old apparently.. ( I had just replaced all four tires not even a year ago lol ) Told me I had to buy a new tire .. I left Bunch of scammers just tryna make you pay more. Went to Garcia Tires in Bell Gardens and they patched it for $20 in 15 mins read more

Came here for a tire change at 10 am and waited until 12pm. 2hours for a tire change all while employees talked and giggled. 2 hours!!! This is ridiculous! I have never waited so long for a tire change. I don't plan on returning and I encourage you to not choose this place. Save yourselves the time! read more

After making a huge mistake. lying to me. going back and forth with useless emails over a month, stone walling me the best you company will offer is a crappy 100$ gift card. This is why your competitors are beating you guys on every front. You guys are so unprofessional. Pete at Corporate is a wonderful mouthpiece for politely telling the customer "We don't care about you, or any other customer, we gave your money back, either take this 100$ gift card and call it a day, or take nothing and call it a day". Pete at Corporate is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. read more

Called in a 8:45am with a flat tire, they answered quickly and said it would be no problem. I arrived at 8:55am and it is about to be 12pm now. Horrible, slow service, just stuck waiting at reception area. My car is not special, just a regular Prius with 1 flat tire. Missed half a day of work already, if this simple service is an indicator for anything else, I would absolutely never return or bring my car in here again. read more

Terrible service. Spent 4 hours here for an oil change because they were backed up. Came back for tires and spent another 3 hours. Do not recommend this place for any type of service other than a pit stop to use their restroom. I have been using this location for years because its for convince. Work is good but customer service is in need of total revamp. They NEVER call you back when they say they will. Over the phone they do not take notes and forget to complete requested jobs. Management is very flakey. This location has a low rating in general from most others and it shows in the quality and integrity of customer service. Currently I have been waiting for a call back for four days. I had to call and had them tell me they would call me right back twice and they never returned my call. They told me my car would be ready no later than Tuesday and it is now Thursday and i had to make a call this morning and they said yet again they would call me back in a few min and that was about 15 min ago. Another very irritating thing is that I have been left on hold so long I had to hang up on multiple occasions. read more

Guy knew I was dropping off my car then only leaves me 15 minutes to come pick it up total. So I was forced to leave it overnight. Don't you think if you knew somebody was dropping their car off, firestone complete auto care should give a better notice? if you know this, you should say hey by the way, we have a cut off this time etc. don't just not communicate & assume we know there is only a 15 minute window to make it. With traffic and having to call an Uber etc. it takes time. GIVE PEOPLE A BETTER NOTICE. read more

I came to this facility today, 12/7/2022 at 3pm to replace a tire that I bought from Tirerack. The person behind the counter, Alex, said flat out in a very rude manner "We can't do this". I explained that I was told by Tirerack that I can have the tire installed in one of their approved facilities. And Firestone is one such facility. Furthermore, I just had two tires installed less than 2 weeks ago, also purchased from Tirerack. Alex had to call somebody who approved the installation. So I left the car and was told that the facility closes at 6PM. I called the place at 5 PM twice. Both times the phone kept ringing with no answer. So when it became 5:40PM and no call from Firestone I decided to go there before they close. To my surprise the car was still where I left it. The gentleman behind the counter, far more pleasant than Alex, explained that my car is next and it will take another hour before it is ready. For heaven sake...how long does it take to replace a tire? So I picked up my car and left. What a waste of time! read more

I stopped by here Friday to check out some new tires for one of my cars. I have done business with Firestone off and on for a number of years. I took the car inside to rotate my tires. My original reason to be there was to get an inspection to see if i needed new ones. So all i needed were to get them rotated to save more mileage. They did a good job. Good guys that work here. I am willing to come back. read more

I went in for a check of my brakes. Priscilla told me they would be finished the next day. The next day she told me the part didn't come in. Didn't even call to let me know. Bad experience all around. 4 months later I had to take my car back due to problems with the brakes. I was told once again it would be ready the next day. Nope she never called to give an update I couldn't even get anyone to answer the phone. She tells you it will be done by a certain time it never is. She doesn't care about your time or if you need to find a ride. When my car was finished she had it parked as far away as she could with the seat pulled so far up I had to move it back to get in the car. There were spots closer why would she park it where I couldn't even see it. Then she yells sarcastically to me sorry. I will never have any work done there again. read more

Horrible service. Made an appointment for an issue with my transmission . Verified twice and was told the service could be done here. Dropped off car at 9 am and called at 3:30 to get an update, was told car was still being serviced. Got a call at 4:55 letting me know work couldn't be done on it. Wasted money on uber missed regular routine with my kids because of this inconvenience. When arriving to pick up car there is no manager available only employee who just said sorry. I had to get managers business card because one wasnt offered to me. I now believe that when I paid for a full inspection I was lied to. I was told all services could be done here and now I am told otherwise. Waste of time and if possible dont ever come here. This place is quick to offer a credit card and also is quick to charge but lack the service skills. How does this company still continue working? read more

A/C performance check (Short story) Felix was charging me for an AC diagnostic that according to Alex (mechanic) was not performed. It was recommended to have the AC system recharge with refrigerant although no pressure test or leak test we're done. Will not be using their services in the future. (Long story) When I questioned what part of the AC diagnostic indicated the need to have the AC system recharge with refrigerant Felix could not justify it and called Alex who admitted to have only done a "visual check" but if I wanted he could run a full check which takes an hour to run. At that point I turned to Felix and asked him to remove the $39.99 charge from my final invoice. read more

Ehhhh... I can give it a thumbs down for a place to rely on. You would have to catch them when it's not crazy busy or else your wait time wait will be 3-4 hrs. Other times when I come for an oil change. It wasn't so bad. Waiting time till very long. Thank goodness, there's a mall there for me to walk around while my car get services. Now, they recommend all cars to get synthetic oil. Which If I want it, wouldn't I have the say if I want it. They insist on it. And I wouldn't get my oil change unless it's synthetic. There's a girl rep who helped us out and gave us a deal. Waiting room is spacious and clean. Nothing major stood out. read more

I am disappointed but not because they are taking longer due to COVID. This location has been like this since before COVID. There employees just slacking, socializing, and not paying no mind to the vehicles. Rewind their cameras and see the "work they do". I am highly disappointed with the service that this location provides. You make a appointment in advance, a week ahead of time, and when you arrive, they quote you over (4) hours of waiting time, and that's a if. They overbook appointments which creates a bigger mess. The customer service is lacking in all departments. From the person checking you in to how they speak to you. I would NOT recommend this location. Young adults who feel highly entitled with rude attitudes. After waiting 2 1/2 hours, they still haven't even brought my car in. Keep in mind, the alignment machine is not in usage. Another lady present had been waiting 3 hours for just a oil change with a APPOINTMENT. There is no reason to overbook appointments, and also take walk ins. Makes no sense because everyone becomes upset. Look at other locations, they will tell you that they are busy and can't take anymore. Especially with COVID-19. They had it packed in there for no reason. You can see the attendants taking in people knowing they can't handle the load. Rude and ignorant when asking about the status of your vehicle. I am not here to exaggerate because I time my appointment by the clock. I rather go to another Firestone location who takes pride in appointments. Do you ever go to a location with a appointment and get quoted 4 hours because they are busy? Then what's the point of the appointment? Tell me. This happens on many occasions. read more

I had schedule an appointment a week in advance at 11:00am, for an oil change at this Downey location. After 3 hours of my car not moving I inquiere in why it was taking so long. Seemed like they just forgot about my car. I waited another 2 more hours. After inquiring a second time I received a condescending and rude answer from the staff about how "an appointment doesn't guaranty anything. Without an appointment ir could take 'MAÑANA', day or two to finishing with my car". At the end I just had an oil change and tire rotation for an expensive price that took 5+ hours. Next time I'll go to a different place. I understand work can get busy and most places are short staff but it seems like this place lacks organization, is OVER PRICED and 100% lacks customer service. We all get frustrated but there is no need for the staff to be condescending and rude. An oil change can not take 5+ hours. read more

I thought that it was necessary for me to write this review about this Firestone location in Downey next to the Stonewood Center. I took my 2021 Toyota Camry to get some tires and the customer service that I received by a young lady by the name of Priscilla was amazing. She greeted me as soon as I walk in the door asked me what I was looking for and was very thorough about explaining my options to me. She showed me different options and was very attentive to my needs. I did mention to her that I was looking to spend a certain amount of money and she found the right tire for my vehicle. She explained everything from beginning to end and I let her know that I will definitely be coming back. Her service was so good. I actually purchased the extended warranty as far as the lifetime warranty on my alignment and my tire rotation. If you're in the area and need your vehicle service I suggest stopping at this location and asking for Priscilla. read more

So I went last week June 25 to Firestone in Cecilia, Downey. I got flushes done with one being the coolant one. Today July 4, 2021 I opened the hood of my car to check my oil because I drove a lot. There was nothing in the coolant plastic container. They charged me for the flush but they didn't have the decency or work ethic to fill it back up... these mechanics they have there are not good mechanics. I've given them so many chances. I wonder what could've happened if I never checked my hood. I pray and hope they all get fired. read more

I made an appointment online at about 2pm the previous day. I arrived 30 minutes early and was first in line. Someone came out and took my truck in for wheel alignment about 17 minutes after my appointment time. They opened at 8 am so I did not expect them to begin work on my truck right when they opened because I realize there is set up to be done and people to check in. If they get paid from 8 to 6, they should not start work before 8am. I've had lifetime wheel alignment for many years and it's the only time I come to Firestone. My only complaint is, the wait time. I believe they are understaffed and we are always in a hurry. None of us want to be here so that makes it even worse. Having to wait sucks, I know. I spoke to Olmos about the wait times, he apologized and confirmed that they were understaffed, especially now during COVID. The customer service is great and I will continue to come here as long as I have my truck because of the lifetime wheel alignment. I suggest you start making an appointment AND arrive early. You can always leave your car & come back later to pick up your vehicle. read more

Our truck broke down literally less than a mile from this firestone. We called in and stated it broke down and thought it was a transmission issue and if they could look at it today and the guy who answered said yes! Bring it in. My boyfriend and friend ended up pushing the truck to this firestone and when we walked in the front service guy said oh we don't work on that type of stuff. Are you kidding? When we called and spoke to the person and mentioned it was a transmission issue he said to bring it in. Now we have to call a tow truck to bring to a different place. Thanks for wasting our time and energy getting it here. This was a last resort because it was close to where we broke down but we should have known by seeing this place's two star review. read more

Save yourselves the disappointment and go somewhere else. I didn't have an appointment, so I dropped my car off just before 9:00. I was told by Chris it would be ready by 5:00. Chris was honest and helpful, but he was off by the time I got there to pick up my car, so my review is about my experience picking up the car. I show up just after 4:30, and I let the guy know I was told car would be ready by 5:00...he looks at the clock and tells me it is 4:38...Ok, I'm 22 minutes early. Of course I'm asked to wait, which I did, only to be extremely disappointed. I have to say that customer service wasn't mediocre, it was ok, but as far as the actual work performed on my vehicle, well, I'd give it -10 stars if I could. My car has a front splitter, and sits low. I let the guy know, and was told not to worry, "it will not hit the ramps...." it did, and the technician acted as if it was no big deal. In fact, after noticing the car hit the ramp, he did nothing to avoid the same as he took the car off the lift, and scraped the front again. I got home and noticed a couple screws had popped off. I don't know how well trained the technician is, but the alignment is worse than when I dropped it off, and the steering wheel isn't straight now. Too much horsing around in the back, which forces people to wait for hours despite having appointments. Things seemed in order while Chris was there, but you can tell the environment is completely different when he is gone. They need more people like him running the place. Off to the dealer it is. I'd rather pay premium prices than go through this again. By the way, notice that not a single review had been addressed. Not sure who the owner of this shop is, but he/she needs to start taking these seriously. read more
