Had an appointment at 12 for a simple alignment couple hours pass and my car doesn't move I had to complain 3 times (which I hate doing I know things get backed up). Nobody had an answer on why it wasn't completed yet. It finally got put up after 2.5 hours and was done in about 30-45 minutes. Wasted 3.5 hours waiting for a simple alignment sitting in the lobby with little to no communication. Frustrating especially when you make an appointment for a certain time and they treat you like a walk in. read more

Took my 2022 Kia Rio for a wheel alignment and the Store manager Robert (Bob) who helped me with my 2024 Tesla Y vehicle alignment two days prior was trying to charge me $200.00 dollars more. He said I needed 4 new tires, my tires were 4 months old. I totally felt like he was taking advantage of me. I questioned, how is the Kia more expensive than my Tesla's alignment. He claimed because my Kia was an SL sports car, which was false. The Kia is an LX, the basic modeI know what type of vehicle I have. Would definitely not recommend this location. Let me be PERFECTLY CLEAR that the only reason for the five stars is Priscilla. The best part of my visit was the woman running the office. Priscilla is extremely professional, curteous and knowledgeable about the service industry. She offered each customer with the same respect and professionalism. She did her best to keep tabs on my car, and ensured I was out with 20 minutes to get to my next appointment. Thank you, Priscilla. Now......Today was the second time I had an appointment at this Firestone location. The first time I got there at opening (8am) with an 8am appointment, yet I was still made to wait until all the walk-ins that arrived early were checked in. I let the person who unlocked the door know I had an appointment for 8am. That didn't matter I had to wait in line anyways. My car wasn't taken back for over three hours. Today I had an appointment for 9am, and explained that I made my appointment with three hours to make my next appointment at noon. I was there for an oil change and rotation. My car wasn't taken to the back until 10:45. Although I did my appointment, it's very frustrating knowing that appointments don't take priority, nor seem to matter. read more

Went in for simple alignment. My truck came out worst than when it went in. Mechanic didn't know what he was doing. They rely too much on there computers. Later tried to have my truck looked at another Firestone and was told they don't touch "modified vehicles". The truck is leveled. If they don't touch leveled trucks why take my money and leave the truck worst. This service costed me $585. $120 for the half ass alignment and $465 for the real alignment shop to fix what they couldn't do right read more

This company lacks work ethic, responsibility, attention to detail, communication, and quality work! I've dropped off my car in the past to get a tire rotation, alignment, and balance and it's been 3X times that they forget to do it. Also, my car never leaked oil but now it's leaking oil after an oil change and I took it back and it's still leaking oil. After this I will never ever get oil changes here. My family member's car almost broke down twice because they forgot to tighten the bolt on the oil pan. Just go somewhere else to get your car serviced! read more

Brought my car to get oil change and transmission service ! Told it would take 2 hours ! 4 hours later and still waiting! Nobody takes the time to tell you why ! When I keep asking how much long keep getting told 30 more minutes After waiting another hour and a half and finally after complaining they tell me they are waiting on the right transmission fluid for the car if I want they could just put the old fluid back in it if I'm in a hurry ! I made an appt for a tire change a week before my visit today. I called to ensure they had the correct tire in stock before making the appt. And explained what had happened at another shop. I showed up, waited 90 minutes before they brought my vehicle in past my appt time, and then 30 minutes after they started the work, there was 0 progress. I went to ask what the hold up was. They said the tire they had in the paperwork was not matching what was currently on my vehicle,, and they didn't know what the error was or how it happened. They were not apologetic for the waisting of my 2 hours and proceeded to carry on with other customers rather than attempt to resolve the error they created. Poor management and poor leadership. Honestly, ridiculous. They initially quoted me at $261 for oil change, tire rotation and new tire. I dropped my car off at around 9:30AM with the expectation of getting it back around 1pm. Never got a call back, so I called them, and they told me they were working on it, which is fair! They told me that they recommend wheel alignment for $120 which I happily obliged because my car was way overdue for general maintenance anyway. This took place around 3:15pm, and I was told that they would notify me. Jokes on me! I was never notified so I went in person around 6:20pm to ask. Turns out my car was already done but nobody called or emailed me :) furthermore, my bill turned out to be $560 something dollars, which is FARRRRR from my initial quote! Even with the $120 wheel alignment, it doesn't total more than 500. I look at the paperwork to see that the labor itself cost $230.... It only took 9 HOURS to get my car back!!!!!! Be very WARY of their services, I was a walk-in but it's egregious how long it took to fix up my car. Do NOT be fooled by the guise of good service! Very Poor communication and lack of honesty. I understand it gets busy but telling a customer 1pm is drastically different than 6:20pm. It shouldn't take 9 hours to do car maintenance on a 2021 Corolla with 25,400 miles. I don't usually write bad reviews but this is not my first bad experience at this location. I got a credit card here and feel so duped. The people here are kind and customer service isn't bad which is why I wanted to like this location but have now had 2 very ridiculous experiences. The way they handle appointments and their "timelines" are unprofessional. I had an appointment to just check my car at 11am I got there at 10:50 and they told me it would take 30-45 minutes to check my car it took about an hour and a half and they told me I needed an oil change and it would take about 45 minutes. I was worried because I had work and asked to just get my car back. They told me it would be about 10-15 minutes. The conversation was at 12:25 where I denied the service and was expecting my car within the next few minutes. At 12:45 my phone was dying so I asked to pay and asked where my car was. It wasn't until 1:07 and I just now received my unserviced car that I had an appointment to get looked at. read more

I made an appointment for an alignment. I dropped of my car before the appointment time. Priscilla told me my car would be done in two hours and would call me if it was done earlier. Fast forward two hours... I come in and ask if my car is almost done. A rep goes to the back to ask. He comes back and says they haven't gotten to my car and there are two more ahead of me. I said I had an appointment and he's like we got backed up. I said, shouldn't you have told me this when I came to drop off the car? Or called me instead of me coming back two hours later to find nothing has been done? He said for an alignment you should come earlier in the day. I've had my alignment done at other Firestone tire locations and booking an afternoon appointment and getting the job done isn't a problem. Here they treat you like it's your fault they overbooked and got backed up. Take some responsibility... I understand sh*t happens, but my time is important too. Also if you don't have the time to do the appointments, don't book them. There is complete lack of consideration for the customer here. I highly do not recommend. If I could give no stars I would. The quality of customer service was not there. I a mom of 4 had my van gushing antifreeze every where they unfortunately were the closest shop. I was told that my van would be done at 6. At 6 Carlos came out and told me they had broke a cap which okay that happens but after that a customer had come in and they were trying to figure out something with his car. I wait after my van was parked out front for 40 minutes. By this time almost all employees had left and the lights in the building were shut off. They stood there talking about this other persons car for a good hour at least. I was not asked if I was willing to wait, even though my van was done and it was after hours. I didn't leave until 747. I called the number for the what he gave me was the store manager and it was the store number. It was almost 2 hours after my van was suppose to be done that I finally got out of there. just now NEW Service: Wheel alignment Previously, a good friend who was a retired mechanic got his wheel studs studs stripped after getting his Dodge Truck serviced at this shop. The shop accused him of cross threading his own lug nuts, even though nobody but this service center had serviced his truck. He blew his top, and the service manager paid for the new wheel stud and installation. Bob told me not to trust this shop. Years have past and I decided to give them another chance. My family has purchased 4 sets of tires, and a multi year alignment service from the Firestone Tire center. We were very happy with the prices and service from the center, until now. We have a low mileage Dodge Minivan. We purchased tires and an alignment service contract for it. Upon conducting the service a wheel stud was broken. Nobody had removed the wheels from minivan since the new tires were installed in January of 2023. The technician immediately blamed us for the problem. The wheel stud could not be replaced because the Mopar hub does not allow for stud replacement. The Service Manager did not show my niece or brother in-law the hub. Nor did he ask if we wanted the old part. They held us hostage and said this is a safety issue and would not release the car. Wheel studs can break when impact tools are used improperly. In our experience with this particular center tells us this is a distinct possibility. They also claim they notified us of the condition of the wheel studs from prior servicing. We believe them, paid the $465 to get our minivan back. Upon checking all of our service records, no warning of bad studs exists. We are going back to get our old part, and will pursue an investigative claim with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. I sincerely believe we were treated has naive customers with limited resources and automotive knowledge. Just because I choose to drive older model cars doesn't entitle this service center to assume I know nothing and I don't have legal resources. Be careful using this center. Ask for old parts and watch their technicians. They amazingly don't seem to care about keeping our business. My best friend is a Master Mechanic and a fellow educator. We have discussed this issue at length. I hope the shop has video of yesterday's activity. I can assure you the truth about what happened will reveal itself. I researched the hub they used for replacement. It's a Duralast aftermarket part, Autozone price $85.99, Firestone charged us $218.99, plus $276.80 1.6 h ours of labor. That's a 254% markup on a aftermarket part! Not feeling very good about my relationship with this place. read more

When I went in they had a lot of cars waiting. Instead of waiting, I asked if I could make an appointment. They said I could come in today and made a 8am appointment. I arrived earlier than 8am and waited to be seen. Apparently they open at 8am. It was 9:20 and they still hadn't seen my car. Wish I would have read reviews before going. I made an appointment beforehand, and brought my car in to change 4 tires I had purchased elsewhere. It took 3 hours for them to change 4 tires. The workmanship is so poor that less than 3 days later I'm taking it to another shop to rebalance the tires because there is now a vibration that wasn't there before I dropped it off. I would not recommend this location when making an appointment. I had scheduled a simple alignment for 11am and by 1:24pm, after receiving no updates, was told that it would be minimum another hour. That would place me 24 minutes past the estimated 3 hour window, which is exaggerated for simple service. The time estimate resembles that of a walk-in, not an appointment. Make an appointment. If you make an appointment then your time slot will work out better for the employees and for yourself. This is not a rush facility it takes time so have patience but they do a great job and will make sure it's done right. They took my car in and checked it more than once to ensure that it was properly aligned. On another vehicle they inspected the brakes to ensure everything was working properly and did not recommend brake pads at this time. Most facilities would go ahead and change it and then throw in some other services and charge you an arm and a leg but they did not. Highly recommend. Alert!!!!stay away from this company. I am in complete shock how is it still even in business. And my fault for not looking at reviews. Where do i start 3 weeks ago I took it in for reg service and brakes job, brakes where not that bad but I stay on top of my car, they did full inspection ( or so I thought they did) and fixed what they told me too $500 and something later oh and 9 hrs later car was done, next day felt the. Brakes and peddle weird called and they told me to drive it brakes where just getting adjusted ok so I did. 2 weeks later this past Sunday took it in 6 hrs later manager calls me to let me know they need to do a brake flush and didn't have time so to leave over night and all will be fixed ok fine, next day Monday No call no nothing I then call myself like hello, Monday then this women (manager) calls me to tell me brake line was torn and need to be replaced well didn't have that issue before so know that was done when they changed my brakes after going back and forth and now having a man call for (mechanic) question them and asking to show proof and did i mention she gave me a quote of over $600 so low because we are questioning by miracle it was fixed now we are on a Monday night no call no follow up nothing, now we are in Tuesday still don't have my car she still does not call no proof no nothing my guy friend calls again and she promises all will be fixed and at there charge no charge one me and be ready by 6 and that's included the two tires i purchased Sunday Ok I pick vehicle up Tuesday night there is all new crew and no one knew nothing so why had my car been here two day ? No clue they say! I'm beyond upset I then pay my tires leave and guess what a couple hrs on my way to work boom new tires are flat and Chevy cap gone I call location to pick up my vehicle upset as can be New person send tow truck to my job takes it to local Firestone tires it is now wed night and new Firestone tire place didn't even know who's car it was and nothing being fixed and Downey location won't answer them I am now going into Thursday no answer no car and now over $800 out of pocket I will plan to escálate this but for now please be aware and if your a women even more !!!
