Rating: (1/5) I would leave zero stars if I could. Save your time and money, go anywhere else but this Firestone location. I called ahead to schedule an appointment for new tires. Since I didn't have my car right in front of me, the employee on the phone asked for my car's year, make, model, and engine. I gave her all the information, along with the specific, on-sale tires I found directly on their website that listed as a fit. She entered everything into her system, confirmed the tires were compatible and in stock, and set my appointment. I arrived for my scheduled appointment, and they jacked my car up to start the service. After waiting over TWO HOURS, the same employee came back out to tell me the tires wouldn't fit and tried to aggressively upsell me on a significantly more expensive set. When I questioned this, she had the audacity to blame me for the discrepancy and act like I pulled the size out of thin air--even though she was the one who verified and confirmed the fitment in her own system during our call. She even tried to cover her mistake by accusing me of modifying my car to explain why the size was off. In reality, their own system lists 235/45R18 for a 2022 Lexus IS300 without accounting for the trim level--mine is the Premium Package, which requires a different size. The website never requested or specified the package trim, and neither she nor the techs checked the actual tire size on the car before putting it on the lift or making me sit in the lobby for two hours. When I refused to spend double the price for their oversight--especially when competitor shops offer honest, genuine pricing; a male employee stepped in and was completely rude to me for declining and was checking if he needed to charge me (even though no work was done and the girl stated that to him and to hand me my keys) he the rudely handed my keys after throwing them out of the folder and stayed quiet. I only came here for a advertised deal and left highly displeased by their total lack of basic automotive knowledge, refusal to take accountability, and atrocious customer service. This place is a joke. I've had to come back more times after I've had work done than I care to say. Not at all knowledgeable and super shady. Had work done last week then suddenly my car won't drive within days. Towed it back to this location and Hugo immediately got defensive, saying there's no way it's from our work. Relax dude...let the customer finish talking before you freak out and get defensive. It's like he took it personally. He failed to mention a couple of important codes that came up when they plugged my car in, codes that absolutely could be related to the work I had done last week. He's got a chip on his shoulder about something. Also, the old guy (I think his name is Danny) is so crass and rude, always has been. Last week he called someone on speaker phone and started yelling "let me speak with the black guy with the good tooth...he f****d my car!" There were 3 of us customers sitting in the lobby. I came to get my car inspected and they told me something completely off about what was wrong with my car. I told them to drive my car so they can hear what was wrong with it and they just briefly inspected it by putting it on the car lift and putting my car on drive. They also wanted me to pay over $2k to get it repaired. As a woman, places like these take advantage of how little they think we know about car repairs. Ladies, don't fall into this trap. Last year I had my car worked on at the San Diego location. Unfortunately one of the parts that was replaced last year stopped operating as expected. The team at this Firestone not only replaced the part but made sure everything else would also work for the foreseeable future. Luckily the repair from last year was still under warranty, barely... but they went above and beyond in correcting the issues that existed and could have triggered future issues very soon. Not only am I impressed with them but my brother who went with me stated that once his free new car maintenance ends with Toyota, he plans to continue all maintenance of his vehicle at this specific location. Saw that I had a screw in my tire so I dropped off my car to see if it was reparable. Firestone told me after waiting for two hours the tire was fully punctured and I would need a brand new tire. They told me they could get me a new tire in a couple of hours for around $700. I didn't feel comfortable paying that and went to get a second opinion. Turns out the screw never punctured my tire and my tire had no damage at all. So Firestone lied to my face and tried to scam me out of $700 plus dollars. Arrrived around 8am Guy at the front was cool enough, ordered my tires and told me it would be ready by 5pm, ended up waiting all day and when I arrived they barely started my tire install, around 6:45 I was told they couldn't preform alignments on "lifted" vehicles. This was disappointing to hear after spending the money on 5 tires, waiting several hours for my vehicle to be complete only to still have to set another day aside to have them aligned. This place is a total scam and try to upsell you services you do not need and even services that have just been done. Came in for alignment only but somehow they found other things wrong with the car and even recommend services that have been completed elsewhere recently. Had oil and oil filter changed at dealer a week ago with normal maintenance. They recommended oil change even though there is a sticker clearly stating when next oil change is due. Changed the engine filter ourselves 2 days ago also but they also recommend new engine filter. They dont check. They just recommend whatever service that may be needed at whatever your car's mileage is. Rotor resurfacing is also a scam. They charge for labor time it takes to resurface each rotor. Its probably cheaper for new rotors. A lot of places take pictures and even video of the problems they spot. Here, they do not and you just have to take their word for it. read more

Calling all clowns! Firestone has thee job for you! I brought my car in for four new tires and an oil change. When I picked up my car the friendly juggalo behind the mini desk said their POS system was not working so he wrote down my card info and said they would email me the receipt. Then he honked his nose and told me to have a good day. What a joker he was. I never got the receipt but my card was immediately charged for $70 more than they said it would be. When I called to ask them to fix the charge and get a receipt, they said I had to come back in because they were all practicing their pie throwing skills and couldn't just fix it over the phone. After chatting with a customer service clown who said she would immediately alert the boss clown, I got a call from the boss clown himself after two days. Hugo, the boss clown, told me I would have to come in so he could compare my paperwork with their files. I told him, "Silly clown, I don't have any paperwork. Your clownette never sent me a receipt, remember?" He said I would still have to come in to fix the problem. I suspected more clown foolery but I went in anyway. As soon as I got there, Hugo the boss clown took a break from pie throwing practice and looked up my job. He immediately honked his nose and stamped his clown shoes and said, "You were charged extra for our clown car protection plan. I can refund your card, but if you ever get a nail in your tire you won't get the slippery banana discount. Are you sure you don't want the slippery banana discount? It's extra slippery!" Talk about slippery, they just added that to my purchase without even telling me. I told him to "give me my money back, you slippery clown!" And so he cranked a siren, threw and handful of confetti in the air and refunded my card without an apology for any of it. In fact, he wiped off his smile and painted an angry Pennywise scowl on his face. Then he squeezed his whoopee cushion and tried to blast me with a bottle of soda water but I bobbed and weaved and he missed. The moral of the story is... if you have a clown car and enjoy slipping on bananas and getting overcharged and beat up by the insane clown posse, this is the place for you! This is regarding 4 wheel alignment particularly on Tesla car. Before I scheduled I called to make sure they have worked on Tesla before and asked if there is anything I should know about. I was told "yeah we work on them all the time and everything will be fixed per spec". Ok... after the first alignment done, based on the report, everything was good except the Left front wheel (camber) is slightly off. I asked about it and the young man told me they can adjust it again next time (they are fully booked the rest of the day). Ok... I came back few days after and they redo it. This time the other side was off. I asked if there will be any issue and if it can be adjusted. First response from the more senior guy was that.. oh he didn't know what happened. The other guys did it. Nothing he can do. I showed him the report and explained my concern. Then he said maybe hardware issue coz I drove in pothole or something. Then I told him how come the result was totally fine on left side is good but now it s totally opposite (let alone all the numbers were just all over the place). The stuff adjusted few days ago were out of spec now for whatever the reason. Essentially he told me it is design issue and every time they adjust it there will be different result. I then asked him why they didn't say it upfront and asked for refund. Of course he refused and basically implied all customer need to know better before bothering him. And of course, this guy would also throw his team under the bus. Said: oh if you ask those young guys, they don't know anything. They cannot tell the issue. Everyone in the shop can hear. They informed me they were flooded with vehicles from the night before and though I had an appointment said it would take 3 to 4 hours. The manager stepped in and offered to assess the vehicle and get me a better time estimate, so I waited in the lobby. After about 30 minutes they were able to tell me I had greater issues beyond just an alignment, but that they spoke with my fleet carrier and got everything that needed to be repaired approved. Yeah! Overall, I did wait 3:30 hours but with all that was done was a reasonable timeframe. When all was said and done and I took my vehicle home it ran much better. Service writer noted a pickup at 4:30 pm and they would call me if no issues are found. They never called and I went to pipick the car at approximately 4:45. Dude with "El Jefe" on his shirt had who is supposed to be the manager had no clue the car was seven there for service or even it was supposed to be picked up, even though everything was on the work order. Boooo to Service Advisor Hugo for a poor experience today. My son's 2012 Honda Accord required an A1 service comprised of an oil change and tire rotation. When we walked in, I told my son to expect an upsell. More on that later. Hugo was dressed in an unmarked black long-sleeved shirt. No company uniform and no name tag, just a black shirt. As he inputted our work order into the computer, he shook his shoulders to-and-fro as if he was dancing to an internal song in his head. Hugo needed the car's mileage so he walked very rapidly outside with my son to get this done. On the way back in, he walked quickly ahead of my son, and at first I thought he did so in order to open the door for him. This touch of courtesy usually occurs with my Firestone visits. Nope. He walked through the door, released it, and let it close in front of my son. Rude. We left the car with Hugo and I told my son that Hugo would likely call me and try to get me to agree to extra services. He did of course and listed a litany of repairs that needed to get done--wheel alignment, coolant flush, brake service. I declined and then he added that the CHECK ENGINE light was on so these repairs needed to be completed. Both my son and I knew there was no CHECK ENGINE warning so I questioned Hugo about this. Hugo told me to hold so he could speak with his technician. When he got back on the phone, he reiterated that this warning light was in fact on. My son and I knew Hugo was being dishonest so, again, I declined the additional work. I received a second phone call two hours later informing me that the car was almost done. "The bulb over the license plate is out. Shall I get that changed for you? Coolant flush?" C'mon, Firestone Man! We finally picked up the car, paid the $69, and examined the dash for warning indicators. Nothing to note. This reaffirmed my belief that Hugo was just trying to make a dishonest extra buck on his monthly bonus check. BOTTOM LINE: I don't expect to pay the cheapest prices at Firestone and I don't expect to pay the high dealer prices. The best I hope for from Firestone is honesty and integrity. Not today with Hugo. I'm done with Firestone and will drive the extra couple of miles to Hock's Automotive in Pomona to get my cars serviced. read more

I understand mistakes happen, but it was the fact that the advisor was so rude about it, I decided not to get the work done there. The customer service representative says to come in to the store and they would be able to fix my tire. I arrive to their location at 12 PM he takes my information down and says to come back later. How long do you think it would take to fix a patch in a tire? 30 minutes 1 hour or 2 hours? Well it was 3 PM and I walked back into their store I asked the representative when will my tire be patched? He said that there were still multiple cars ahead of me. When you're driving out-of town and experience a vehicle malfunction during your trip and want to have it checked out.... this is not the place to call. I was roughly 38 mins away according to Google maps. It took closer to an hour to get to this place. It was 4:30pm when I arrived and they close at 6pm. I was told over the phone " just bring it down". I wanted an alignment when I arrived there was a car in the alignment bay. I was told with a laugh "sorry man we cant do it today". Reason I called ahead was to make it to a place that could do my alignment when I arrived, but instead they wasted my time driving in a direction off my original route for nothing! I sat there till 6pm, making other arrangements for the following day at another Firestone near my final destination. To my surprise, the alignment bay remained empty from 5:30 to 6:00pm. They took a little less than 30 mins each on the 2 alignments done on the 2 vehicles in the photos. They gave us a quote of $500 for oil pressure scensor. They said labor would take 2.5 hours. So glad we went with our gut and felt this place was trying to rip us off. Turns out average price for this service is $280. Went online part is only $40-$60 and after speaking to other mechanics, should take no more than an hour. Mobile mechanic will come and fix it at our place $300. Firestone also quoted us over $500 for 4 tires. Cheapest ones they have. 40,000 miles. Well looked that up also. We got $60,000 tires for $260 (all four). Shame on you Firestone! You take advantage of your faithful customers! read more

Do not go here. I normally do all my own repair work. I felt like I was in a crunch for time, so took my Jeep here since it is close to my office. As I suspected, the oil cooler was leaking oil. Spoke with the shop and they said they would install an all aluminum assembly which replaced the OEM plastic and aluminum component. Once I picked up the Jeep, I noticed some stains on the new grille I had just installed. I tried to clean it off, but the stains remained. Then I noticed oil leaking again. I took off the intake manifold to inspect the work the shop had done and - the part they installed was not all aluminum, it is plastic and aluminum. I feel like the shop lied to me about the work they did, and we're very sloppy doing the work - coolant and oil must have gotten on the grille and ruined it. I installed a new grille, and a new all aluminum oil cooler myself, with no issues. When I called the shop, they told me to bring it in and they would clean up the mess from the continued oil leak. I explained I don't trust them to touch my Jeep anymore and want a refund of the $1,000 I spent. They are not willing to do this.
