So, like a lot of people, I have a car. Also, like most people, I do not like spending money  on…read moreservicing my car. Last time I was at Brenner Nissan, they informed me that my tires were looking pretty bald - like 2/32" or less 'bald'. That's pretty bald. They then informed me that in order to turn in my lease and not get charged an outrageous amount on new tires, that I should replace them myself. For a long while I thought, " Meh, I will just replace them right before I turn in the vehicle". Then, I came to my senses and reconsidered. Why should I buy brand new tires for someone else to drive the car around? I might as well by the damn tires now, and use them until vehicle-turn-in. Duh... So, anyway, after that seemingly obvious epiphany, I called around to a few different places with the same spiel. "I have a lease, want the cheapest, yet safest tires possible ... how much?" Firestone quoted me some outrageous price like 378.20 (for two). Then I called Good Year and spoke with the most helpful person I have ever spoke to at a mechanic. He walked me through all the options, both name brand and non-name brand. Helped me assess each one while I was on the phone with him and concurrently googling each of them, and then set me up for an appointment. This was the best car service experience I have ever had, with a friendly dude who really seemed to care about my needs as a customer. In the end, I purchased two new front tires and it only cost me $287. Exactly in the ball park I wanted to be in. There were tires that would have cost $25 bucks less, but he recommended I steer clear of those (pun intended!). The reasons he listed were similar to the reasons I found in talk threads on other websites. At the end of the experience, I feel like I was well taken care of, valued, and that they had my best interest in mind. Will definitely be back here when I need similar services in the future, and I highly recommend you check them out!

Within a few days my tire was back flat. I have heard nothing but bad things from others when sharing my experience about this business. I found amigos tires!! Long story short sorry for the ted talk but if u going there make sure u tell them ur deadlines be very clear if they need to order something to let u know immediately and watch to make sure there actually doing there job I wouldn't have had a problem if they would have communicated to me that it would take longer than expected I would have brought it in earlier and went back home but instead they were dismissive rude and unapologetic so they will no longer be getting business from me

I took a picture, set up an appt for later that evening on the website, without any stops or issues. Unfortunately, rather than wanting to be late since I got off at 3pm, I scheduled it for 4pm, so I got there early right after work. The gentleman at the counter seemed confused why I was even there early, didn't ask for my confirmation code, and so I offered to sit in the lobby until my appointment, not a big deal as I was early. 4pm rolls around, the guy goes outside to take a smoke. So I had to make myself known again, wait until the guy was done, then get my appt started. I showed him the picture and described that I was losing air pretty fast. I waited an hour for the patch job, I get called to come get my car, and I'm told they removed the object but saw no need for a patch. I go outside and you can literally hear the hissing of air from the same tire, so I got a guy from inside the shop to listen. As he's with me, some other worker comes out and seems upset that I have another issue, saying something to the effect of "Oh, I'm not f*cking with this right now." in front of me, before lightly apologizing. Unfortunately I didn't catch names, but the younger looking gentleman with the cool piercings that didn't make a fuss said he'd personally get me taken care of. After nearly another hour, I finally get my car back, I don't hear any hissing, and the patch has held up a week later. However, after all that they didn't put my valve stem cap or wheel cap back on, both of which we're color matched to the car so I have to go out of my way to get new ones since I just don't have any desire to go back to the shop. It was just such a lack of care from the start that I was leery about trusting the fix, but the second guy did indeed make sure I got home that night without charging me for the additional time. I just wish it felt like my vehicle was treated with more respect.

Both guys claimed to be the manager and neither were very pleasant to work with. their attitude and the conduct of garage personnel made it easy for me to take my vehicle back from them and to a place more competent. I came in on a Sunday without an appointment for a check…read moreengine light at the Monro Muffler/Brake & Service on Eisenhower Blvd., Justin and Riley took my vehicle in, even with it being busy and only the two of them working. I'm not a car guy but I did use a code reader and did some research on the P0126 code causing the check engine light trigger. The shop's diagnosis of a faulty thermostat matched what I found. I appreciated that Justin took me through the troubleshooting process he used to verify that it wasn't a bad sensor instead and also showed me the old and new part where I could see the obvious wear of the thermostat spring that was causing the thermostat to stay stuck in the open position, causing the P0126 code. My vehicle was done in less than 2 hours which was great considering how many other drop-ins they had that afternoon. I would highly recommend this shop and will be bringing my vehicle back if I ever have any other vehicle issues in the future!

Our hearts are broken over the tremendous loss of Elvin. Calvin stepped up to the plate and hasn't missed a beat. A few examples of their exemplary services - Our daughters car broke down leaking fluid all over the Carlisle Pike and Calvin came in clutch with the rollback and towed her car immediately to their shop. What we were expecting to hear was that the transmission was done, but after careful review it was actually a connecting piece that rusted out. Within 2 business days her car was fixed and back on the road. Our other daughters car kept throwing the service engine soon light. Calvin completed his research and quickly determined the root cause. The fix was completed the next business day and the car runs beautifully.
