I stropped in to get a quote on some work I needed done. I was told to bring the car in at 9:30am the next day and they would check the car out and give me a quote. I was told it would take a couple hours. I was there at 9:30. I sat with one customer that said he had a 10:30 appointment for an oil change. After sitting for 3 hours watching people come and go without having an appointment. I asked for my keys and left. If I asked a client to come in and left them sit for 3 hours I think they would think me rude and inconsiderate. Fletcher clearly did not need my business. First off i want to say i'm a U.S. Veteran from Iraq/Afghanistan era just to give who ever a heads up on my character. I'm usually not the one that goes and writes reviews on company's but I would like to believe if i had saw a review like this i would have taken my business else where. I scheduled appointment online for two vehicles to have a oil change , just a simple oil change . Drop off time at 7:30 am so i asked the guy how long will this take , he says two hours so i believed both would be done in two hours . I was wrong , just to start this was a back and forth thing until almost 5 PM. I don't know why it takes this long , maybe it was a sign that there was something wrong or they were just busy i don't know . A few days go by and i see that since the oil changes has been done on two vehicles now there leaking oil on two vehicles . I take a look at both vehicles , they are both leaking oil from the oil filter and drain plug. I immediately call and request to speak to a manager , he is conveniently on vacation . I thought during the oil change they tried to up sell me on things i didn't need now I'm dealing with issues they had created , i guess it was a free for all to try to charge me for as much things as possible instead of owning up to there mistakes.They guy in the front givens me some story about how the guy who did the oil change wasn't his best guy and he would get his best guy on it . Long story short they screwed me on two vehicles and i was just there for an oil change , and they tried to charge me thousands of dollars. In my opinion these guys are dishonest crooks so if you have read this far hopefully this helps someone make there minds up about giving this company a try . read more

went to get oil change, lube, fuel filter and asked for upgraded filter and they wanted to put synthetic in and I don't use it. Our appointment was at 10:30 and it took until 1:30 and they didn't lube anything, or drain the sterring fluid like I asked. I checked and had to do it myself, (same dirty fluid was in it). I highly recommend Firestone Auto Repair in Buckeye, AZ. We were on Interstate 10 from California to Phoenix and had a tire problem late in the afternoon. We were able to get to Firestone where we were helped by Bob and Casey. Bob was friendly, customer focused, and helpful. Casey did the tire work quickly after a thorough check and diagnosis. We were helped by two very friendly professionals who diagnosed our problem and got us on our way within 30 minutes. We appreciated it after a long trip on a desert freeway. Very friendly people that the tire replacement done when they said they would. Had a screw in a rear tire that could not be patched because it was to close to the sidewall. Another shop started out trying to sell 4 new tires which is not necessary because my car is a front wheel drive and not all wheel drive. I've been coming here for years, bringing them 3 of my cars so far. They are awesome people out there. I truly feel that they use good judgement, know what they're doing, honest people trying to run a solid business. Their prices are very competitive, therefore they are using a healthy cost to ensure that it's quality service while not bankrupting either the customer or the business. I took my vehicle in to have a water pump replaced. They wanted 147 dollars for the part. Autozone wanted 51 for a new one with a lifetime warranty. The labor charge that they quoted me was 115 per hour for 3 hours. They claimed it needed a new fan clutch. Also over priced I presume. Grand total for parts and labor was over 1000$. My vehicles will never go back. Not to mention customer service from this guy was pathetic. read more

Went in for an oil change for my truck. My appointment was for 10 am and they started right on time. The waiting area was very comfortable with Direct TV and complimentary wifi. The salespeople were super friendly and very polite. While I was waiting, they were kind enough to talk to me and answered my questions about the ability of my truck to tow my camper up to Flagstaff. I will definitely go back there for service on both my vehicles and will recommend this location to my friends and neighbors. read more

Fletcher's saved me! My boyfriend and I were road tripping from California to Florida and my air went out in the middle of the AZ heat..on a Sunday afternoon might I add. We were forced to stay overnight in Buckeye. We went to Fletcher's first thing Monday morning. Took my car in for simple diagnostic noise from front of car and the next thing we found out is that they drove it around their area and wheel comes off causing damage to front of car. Shawn the manager said they would take care of it but after all that's said and done he NOW says they're not responsible and that he doesn't even know corporate phone number so we can get in touch with them. So I took a car to RICH AT FIRESTONE TO GET INSPECTED.. and to anyway who is considering wasting money on this guy at firestone beware BEWARE!! My car had just been checked out by camelback hyundai and came back with a clean bill of health 3 days earlier and I have all paperwork to prove this. RICH TELLS ME THAT THE CAR HAS MANY ISSUES AND ITS BASICALLY A PIECE OF CRAP AS HE THEN OFFERS to buy a car on company time for $2,ooo dollars less than original offer due to the issues it has?? The issues was the cabin air filter.. $10.. 2 tires $100.. and maybe front strut in future.. so no deal for sure.. hopefully he at least paid for the time of the inspection?? Not just my wasted time to drive 49 miles to show a perfectly safe and reliable car! They also broke my under car skid guard and tells me it was that way when hey looked at it again which is a lie. Refused to fix their mistake. I took my 1977 Corvette in for an alignment during the final stages of a frame-off restoration. They aligned three of the four wheels. The last one (right, rear), they did not bother to put shims in the trailing arm. This made the rear tire turn freely and uncontrollably left and right. I took it back to them because when I downshifted the car suddenly turned left and almost put me into the curb. They insisted everything was fine until I got under the car and pointed to exactly what I had been talking about all along. Later I got a call and they told me that they didn't want to work on it anymore and referred me to a shop in Phoenix that I would need to get my car towed to because I couldn't safely drive it. They said that if they worked on it, they would charge me double their hourly rate because of all the rusted parts. Mind you, this was a frame-off restoration, so everything under the car was brand new/painted and completely rust free. If you care about your car, even a little bit, find another shop. read more

Went to this place because of a groupon for oil and brake pads. High pressure upsale type of environment. Didn't feel like I could trust anything they said. When I had originally called them they gave me an estimated time of 2 hours and I was there in under 15 minutes. I guess when I opted not to do all the money making repairs they offered they decided I didn't matter. 4 hours of me waiting in their office only to find out that they probably weren't going to get around to it till sometime the next day. When I arrived the next evening I discovered they had sheared off a lug nut and had made an executive decision not to replace my rear brake pads because they "only do complete jobs". Just before I discovered all this nonsense they redeemed the Groupon for the full amount which should have coved the rear brake pads and gave me the keys as though they had completed everything. It wasn't until I got in my vehicle and noticed the rear brakes were still squeaking that I confronted them and they came clean. I had to get Groupon to reimburse me. I'll never go back there. I went down the street and had another business replace the pads and there was no issues. Oh and the other brake issue that I was having I later fixed myself in 30 minutes while watching a YouTube video and a used part. Total cost was around $80. Fletcher's started at close to $1500 and slowly dropped their price when I kept saying I didn't want to pay anything near that much. They eventually said they would do it for $600 because they liked me and I was such a nice guy, blah, blah, blah. Beware! read more

Used to come here then there was a while where they had people who didn't care. Tried again and Shawn and Jimmie really have great customer service! We were in for tires and the engine light came on. My "check coolant level" indicator came on so I thought I'd have these guys check it for me. I walked in and asked how busy they were. The manager said "very" and I told him my concern and he promptly said "oh, just pull it into the first bay and I will have one of the guys check it" 5 minutes later I drove away with my coolant topped off without charge. They over tighten the oil filter and the oil pan bolt. While trying to do a oil change myself after I let them do my last one. The oil filter won't come off and when trying to to use a tool designed for taking off oil filters it was on to tight and broke open s hole in the oil filter.
