I was going to hold off on the bad review from the last time I was here. They try to bait you to purchase or repair unnecessary things. Got an oil change and I got quoted for over 2k worth of repairs. A brand new car and they're already telling me my fuel pump is failing, fuel filter needs replacement. They charge $80 for an air filter change and 90 for cabin air filter replacement. You can easily do those things in 5 minutes with just 1 tool for both jobs. Just go to your mom and pop mechanic. I went in for one of those "complete vehicle inspections" for a recent car I'd bought. The whole thing was basically a scam to try and upsell me on their absurdly overpriced tires. They promise it wouldn't be more than 45 minutes, and three hours later they said the only issue they found was "brake corrosion" and how it was $100 to fix. Despite feeling weird about it, I conceded, and the next day my brakes start screeching incessantly. I go through the review paper they give me outlining all the work they did, and half the paper is completely empty, even though it was under the "Complete Inspection" header. I call them asking about it, and they say "Don't worry, we checked everything, it's fine. You had the Nissan, right?" It was a Toyota. It's been a month, and my brakes have been squeaking like crazy. So much for getting them serviced. Waste of money, and clearly they didn't inspect a damn thing. If anything, they made my car worse. I got the same tires at America's Tire for literally a third the price, and I'll find a local mom and pop mechanic to fix my brakes. Don't waste your money here. read more

Frank and the guys know how to treat their customers! Never had a problem here. I've been going to this place for oil changes and what not, and they always deliver! They also do a courtesy check for your tires and fluids which is also really great! There are times when they told me I had a nail(s) in my tire(s) which was a super duper lifesaver on many occasions! If you are ever in a rush, or have a busy schedule, it's always good to call ahead of time to check the wait time, but best to arrive here early so that your car can get serviced quickly and thoroughly. They always have some coffee brewing and a nice t.v with news or drama playing on it which is a pleasant touch (: There's a mcd's across the street if you have the munchies, and convenience stores close by if you need to do some quick last minute birthday gift shopping. Never coming here again! Read the reviews and do your research! They will up charge you for parts and try to milk you as much as possible! Came in for a check engine light and after their 4 hour diagnostic they tell me the MAF sensor and PVC piping need to be replaced. Caught in the moment I didn't bother to check. The sensor they decide to sell me supposedly cost 325.99! Had I done my research I can get the same part for far less! This became the heaviest cost to my service. On top of that they try to convince me my 3 month old battery is dying. I took it to get checked where I bought the battery and it was perfectly fine! I went in for an alignment on my car and after picking up my car noticed my car pulling to the right. I checked the front and my front right tire was a different brand, and bald. I had decent tires all around with maybe 80% tread left, and the receipt they gave me showed that the tread was in good condition. I went back to ask if my tire was accidentally switched out and they became really defensive and denied it even though I showed how their tread measurement showed my tires in good condition. The manager was empathetic and gave me a refund for my alignment at least, but I'm out a tire and my car pulls to the right now. Good stuff. read more

They have a self serve coffee station, public restroom, and a waiting area with a small TV with Direct TV. There is also a CVS and a McDonalds across the street. Brought my car in to replace the tires. After some time they decided to call me up to tell me my front brake rotors were below minimum thickness and my front brakes were down to bare metal. They advised me to replace them and quoted me a ridiculous price. No noise when hitting the brakes, no shaking on steering wheel or brake pedal . Consulting a different mechanic who said not only do I have life left on the front pads, but also the rotors were totally fine. I was lied to by Firestone and will no be back to this location, or others. Go to the local mechanics they are often honest and fair when it comes to these repairs. read more

Took my car back to them twice in two weeks because of poor alignments and brand new brakes screeching, which they can't find any problem with. These guys don't know what they are doing. It's Friday before the July 4th Holiday. I dropped in on these guys because my wife said Francisco's pho ne courtesy was exceptional. After being jerked around for my 8am appointment in the Pasadena store, I remembered my wife telling me about Francisco's customer service. I called after walking out of the Pasadena store for their obvious lack of customer service or appreciation, and was pleasantly surprised that Francisco answered the phone. I explained my needs and that I was heading to this store immediately. As soon as I got here, Art (another amazing customer service oriented employee) advised me that Francisco was securing my tires as they only had 3. The ac in my car started blowing hot air so I brought my car to Firestone. After they had my car for an entire day, I was told that multiple things in the ac unit needed to be fixed or replaced & was quoted $2300 to fix it all. I refused their ac service & took the car to a different mechanic for a quote. Turns out my ac unit just needed to be charged & the new mechanic took care of that for $80. Dishonest guy. This store is a SCAM. Stay away from it. It will try to rip you off by selling tire when all you need is a puncture repair. I went there to get my flat tire fixed, but he tried to sell me a tire saying the tire walls are damaged and they won't fix it, it has to be replaced. My car is only 3 years old and not much driven, so there was no question of tire walls getting damaged. I had already read its reviews and was suspecting the same which was confirmed. First thing the manager said is that will take it out but I might need a new tire. My car is 2 years old and haven't driven it much cuz of COVID and being home. Of course the recommendation was that I needed a new tire. Instead I had my husband take it to another tire shop and they patched it up. interesting, No new tire needed. I booked an appoinment at noon for a car inspection for noon. I arrive at noon and I'm told that I would be next. 40 minutes later and my car still hasn't been touched, but I'm next in line. Finally an hour afterwards they begin to inspect my car. It ended up nothing was wrong with my car however, a headlight did go out so I went ahead and had it replaced there. They said it would take just a few minutes. So I sit and wait and wait and wait, the whole service took 2 hours even though I made an appointment. I couldn't even imagine what a walk-in would be like. The staff was cordial, but the service is like molasses. They do have a killer deal on alignments though, $200 and you get aligment jobs for the life of the car. read more

I came in for oil change and noticed my belts are cracking so he suggest to get change which I did. If that day is not busy then he will get car done within 11/2 hours. Usually oil change is 2 hours. I've been here a couple of times and customer service has always been on point. Very friendly staff. I always get my tires from here and so far so good no problems. They also check what other problems your car has and gives you recommended work and a quote before any work is done. They have fast service (depending on how busy it is) but they always give you an approximate time window if you would want to wait or just come back. They have a seating area for waiting, a tv and some magazines to keep you busy, and two separate restrooms for men and women. Overall,very satisfied with my visits and no complaints so far. On 1/18/2020, I called this Firestone location to inquire about having a leak plugged in the tire on my car. I was told I could come down and they could repair it. Upon arriving Adam, a service advisor, took my info and came out to look at my car. I told him I had a dry wall screw in my front driver side tire. He told me they would have to look at all the tires and find out what was going on and if it could be repaired. After waiting over an hour to have them look at my car, I was then informed that the tired couldn't be plugged because the screw was "in the sidewall of the tire" and "I could buy one tire or the best was to get a set of four." As you can see from the photo below, the screw wasn't in the sidewall of the tire at all. What I got was an up sell for tires when all I needed was a plug in my tire. If I didn't have prior knowledge of what was wrong with my car before I went in, (I could have done the work myself but I was short on time and figured a tire professional could do it much quicker than I could), I would have spent a lot of money unnecessarily. I post this review with the hope that if you get your car serviced here, you get a second opinion on what is wrong so you don't end up spending money on work or parts you don't need. read more

I only needed for them to put on my spare and main guy there was rude right from the start. Made me wait by the counter and never came to help. I came in without an appointment around 4:45pm on a Sunday (just over an hour before they closed) because of a high pitched whining noise that occurred when I turned my wheel. Even though they did not have any spots open, Frank, the store manager, could tell that I was desperate and took it upon himself to take a look at my car and quickly resolved the problem by adding power steering fluid free of charge! Don't come to Firestone for any tire patching - they will try to sell you a new tire and will tell you they can't patch your tire because of the way the nail punctured the tire. Go somewhere else for patching. I went to go out in the morning and my car indicated there was low tire pressure. I found a nail in one of my tires. The nail wasn't too bad, so I drove slowly to find a place nearby to patch my tire so I could go to work. I stopped by Costco. Costco said it was $11 to patch the tire, but that it would take 2 hours. I didn't have the time, so I went to Firestone. Firestone said they needed to replace the tire because of the way the nail was in the tire (Costco did not say anything about that at all.......). Firestone said they would quote me a new tire - I asked how long and they said it was 1.5 hours. I declined - it was already suspicious enough they were trying to get me to buy a new tire. The puncture wasn't in a spot where the tire couldn't be patched. I guess that is their policy - try to get a customer to buy a new tire and overcharge if possible. I drove to the nearby 76 gas station, and the guy said he could patch it for $20 and do it in 20 minutes. He finished in 15 minutes, and I had enough time to get to my workplace only 30 minutes late. read more

Wow, I just left & had to write a review. Probably one of the best customer service I've ever received. Now I understand why my mom comes here all the time. I pulled up, and the man stopped what he was doing to see what I needed. I told him my tire light was on. He told me that he can put air in my tires for me, and depending on my schedule, he can check if there's a nail. He told me checking for a nail would take 10 mins, needing to fix it would take 30. Told me to wait inside, & in less than 10 mins, came in to tell me that there was no nail, that my tire pressure was just low. He filled my tires with air, explain that the tire light would disappear after driving 2 blocks, and sent me on my way. NO CHARGE. I really appreciate that I just pulled up, WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT, and was greeted right away with a friendly response. I really appreciate that the man gave me OPTIONS based on my schedule. He offered to fill my tires up with air, and then gave me the options to choose to leave or have it checked out. I really, really appreciate that they are HONEST.
