However, once the job was done, their customer service became totally unresponsive. Since the contract was signed, attempts to contact them for follow-up or support have been unsuccessful. Despite numerous calls, there has been no response, and messages remain unreturned. It appears that their business model involves providing excellent service to secure jobs and payment, followed by complete abandonment. This situation is frustrating and stressful, and customers deserve to be aware of their post-sale treatment. They were punctual, did exactly what they said according to the contract and left nothing to clean up. The owner told me what to expect from my appliance (gas fireplace) as far as "new" odors and/or noises to be aware of as it "breaks in." He also told me how to clean and maintain it each season. I wouldn't have thought to ask so I really like the fact that he went the extra length to do this. Since its installation, everything he told me about using this appliance was right on the money so this is proof that this guy really knows his stuff! I would definitely use and recommend Gas Tech Services for their: integrity, doing the job correctly the first time and being personable to boot. They really worked with me to get the pricing to where the insurance would accept the quote, and after quoting a few different companies they were competitively priced. They were very accommodating when I had to postpone the install a few days before they were to begin siding. Communication was generally very good, they showed up on time and finished the job in a timely manner. There was a small issue at end of job, but they were very receptive and out immediately to take care of my concerns. Overall a very good company and I would definitely recommend them.

We have a big issue with this company's customer support. We hired them to replace the siding on…read morethe 45-year-old manufactured home that we bought 30 years ago. When they removed the old siding they uncovered some cosmetic damage to the foundation. They said they couldn't re-cover the area with siding, as doing so would void the manufacturer's warranty. Nor could they repair the "damage" themselves because, as they said, "We're a siding company, not masons". Thus, tens of thousands of dollars later our home was an eyesore and Keystone was no where in sight. In the end I was able to fix the problem myself; a mason was not even required. I feel, though, that Keystone should have offered just a hint of customer support by fixing a relatively simple problem themselves, or at least suggesting someone who could do the work. So though they did a good job installing the siding, I would never hire them again, nor recommend that anyone else do so.

Had Baron's "repair" my chimney in June of 2024. Had someone come out to assess my house for…read morepossibly selling and one of the things they pointed out was my chimney. The repaired brickwork was not straight and square which I noticed shortly after the repair but, was willing to live with but I was told that they did not rebuild it to the correct height and the fact that they did not replace the flue liner is an issue. They charged to come out to quote to lock you in and then did inferior masonry. It's too late for any recourse but, can still want others to steer clear!

I called at 8am to make a service appointment to check my boiler as my house was without heat and hot water. The representative on the phone was able to give me a same day appointment (between 12pm-2pm), which was a welcome relief. She then followed up with a call when the tech was dispatched and provided an updated arrival time. The tech, Kevin, arrived a little early and went straight to work confirming my diagnosis of a faulty blower motor (the error code was pretty clear as to what the problem was). He was courteous and efficient and I have nothing bad to say about the interaction to this point. I told Kevin that I had called Atlantic Plumbing Supply in West Long Branch to see if they had the part in stock, which they did, just in case his company had a hard time sourcing it. Kevin went back to his van to call in and work up a quote. This is where things took a turn for the worse. Atlantic Plumbing Supply was selling this replacement part (Weil-McLain 383-500-035) for $534 retail. General Plumbing Supply was sellling it for $653. Kevin came back into the house and told me the cost of the part would be $1200. I totally get that companies need to make money, and I was fine paying the $125 Service Call fee, the $40/15 min emergency service labor rate, and would have been fine paying for the part with a reasonable markup, but over 100% above retail and likely around 300% over wholesale was just way too much. Maybe they don't need new customers, so fair play to them on that, but imagine the loyalty they could have had if they had been fair on the cost of parts. Hell, I would have paid double the labor rate as long as they had been reasonable on the parts cost, but alas. I wish them well, but I do think customers should be aware of these unfortunate practices.

The technician showed my husband photos of how dirty our unit was and recommended the installation of an air purification system for $59. we both felt that was a reasonable price and agreed to it. My husband even commented to the technician on how reasonable it was. You can imagine my shock when I saw a charge of $1599 on my AmEx bill this morning. Obviously their first reaction will be that my husband misheard the price, but for BOTH of us to have misheard is almost impossible. We know what we heard and we both heard the same thing: $59! Had we been told the truth we would not have agreed given the age of our unit and the possibility of having to replace in the not so distant future. I can tell you we will not be using Aggressive when that time comes, nor will we be renewing our service contract in the future. I don't mind paying for good service, but I don't like being cheated!

The issue at hand is that the pilot light is starting, but turns off when you release the pilot button. A young gentleman came out, tried to start the fireplace, nothing happened as expected. I told him, I assume it is the thermocouple. He said he needed to talk to his boss. He calls him (mind you no photos or anything at this point) and tells him: pilot light on, all looks in working order, only light turns off when button is released. Boss says: thats $ 2,500.00 !!! For the replacement of valve and thermocouple. I said no way. Young man makes pictures of the fireplace and asks me: what do you want to pay. I say excuse me?? He says, well I can try to show pictures to boss and maybe he can give a better price. Boss comes back and says: ok we can do it for $ 1.800 !! Needless to say, I declined (but still had to pay the 125) . This was the most unpleasant, unprofessional experience in my life. Stay away from this company.
