When I disputed the charge with the credit card company, this company sent pictures of work that wasn't from my house. One picture was of brand new duct, never installed, taken from inside a vehicle. The arm rest, seat and door handle of the vehicle showed in their picture. After I got a provisional refund, I got a text from them. They submitted this text to the credit card company without a date as "proof" that they had attempted to resolve my complaint. I had to reopen my dispute with the credit card company with actual pictures of the work not done and the actual date of the text message in question. Don't go near this company.

During the walkthrough, he told me it would cost around $9,800 to reline the flu. I asked if that included permits, and he said they don't have time to get permits, however they would do it for an additional fee. The next day I receive their quote via email for $9,800 to relining the flu + $1,500 for permits, totaling $11,300. This seemed over-priced to me, so I contacted another local chimney company (35+ years in business). They charged me $0 to come out to provide a quote, they were 80% less than Johnathan's quote ($2,485), and they took care of all permitting. I went with the competing company.

As he was performing the internal flue inspection with a camera he showed and explained what potential issues he looks for. 2. After Tom completed the cleaning, she show us all the flammable debris that was removed. Much more than I had expected. 3. Walking tarps were placed to ensure there would be no dirt tracked on the rugs and hardwood floors. In addition, Tom for slip-on "booties" worn while working on the house. 4. Very good communications.. throughout the process. I received several email and phone communications in response to several questions I had about the inspection process. I also received a confirmation call from him the day before the service. 5. Function...My appointment was for 1:30PM...he was at the door a few minutes before.
