I used to eat at Firehouse Subs all the time when I was working. It was my favorite place to go for lunch. So now that I'm retired my husband and I decided to go to firehouse subs because we both love the food there. What a major disappointment the sandwiches were so devoid of me as to be almost nonexistent. My husband got double meat and it was more like what a normal sandwich should be definitely not double. Plus, it took quite a while for our sandwiches to be made and there was hardly anybody in there when we went. It was after lunchtime. I think my firehouse sub days are over. read more

Firehouse Subs is basically the same as a Subway.. except just a little bit better. It was founded by firemen.. brothers (Chris & Robin). Anyway, the one I went to was in a strip mall with plenty of parking. I went here and got the medium Engineer on Wheat Bread by itself. . . (Not the combo) The total came out to $5.19 plus tax.. so $6.01. The Engineer is the Smoked Turkey Breast with sautéed Mushrooms and melted Open-Eyed Swiss served "Fully Involved" Fully Involved = Loaded. Complete with Mayo, Mustard, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and a Dill Spear on the side. The subs come in medium and long. Overall it was okay. Average. The turkey breast was kind of mushy. The whole sub tasted kind of tangy. It's just a sandwich.. Nothing special about it that would leave me wanting more. I'm thinking this place is known for it's hot sauces.. There's over 10 different types of sauces you can try. Anyway.. I got a scratcher for a free medium drink the next time I come back.. I probably will try other places before coming back here. Hmmm. Interesting. I ordered and paid in advance online. Then I went to pick up my order. Some of the extras I ordered were not available, so I asked them to take them off the ticket. They looked at me like they were brook trout. Huh? "You'll have to go online and do it yourself," they said. That sounded suspicious, but I left, went home, and attempted to do this. No such mechanism exists either online or on their app. The bottom line, I wasted over thirty minutes trying to get a refund for less than $5.00. I know, choose your battles wisely. LOL. The receipt they gave me at the store had no totals, nothing. Just an order number and the time. ??? A true reciept is not availble on my online order history either. Irritating. Passing through town, I stopped here to get a sandwich for dinner tonight. I chose to build my own with smoked turkey breast and provolone. While ordering, I mentioned that it was not dine-in, but was for later this evening. Overhearing my conversation was the young man taking my order - Braedon - and he actually asked me if I would like my lettuce, oil, and vinegar in a to-go cup so that the sandwich did not get soggy before dinnertime. What an ASTOUNDING level of customer service! It was amazing to see a young man actually THINKING OUTSIDE the box and putting the customer first. Visited 3 times since I moved here. First time. All steamers were broken. Not one, but all 4-5 steamers were broken. Second time. Both card machine were down. Cash only. Third time. Soda machine broken and a 10 minute wait at the register before being greeted and a 30 minute wait for my sandwich. (One hook and ladder) I am actually still sitting here waiting as I write this review. Combine all of that with rude workers, cock roaches running on the floor, employees with attitudes and won't speak to you unless they have to. Terrible business and terrible customer service. How in the heck did anyone give this location more than one star? This is the most screwed up firehouse we've ever been in. We went again yesterday because we're complete idiots, once again their incompetence is amazing. We waited 20 minutes because they didn't know how to enter a General Managers coupon from the last time they'd screwed up our order thoroughly. She told us we had to wait for the manager to come back from the bank only to wait 15 minutes for her to come back and she never bothered to get off her dang phone. We enjoyed listening to her personal call for another 5 minutes before we just gave up and left. This is the worst firehouse EVER!!!! read more

Don't believe the online ordering. When you go to pick up your sandwiches they have to make them for you after you show up. They have no concept of how online ordering works and are happy to make up excuses of why your order is not ready. Worst Firehouse in the state for service. read more

I have been to other Firehouse subs and this one is on par with those when it comes to food. My issue was the fact that none of the workers were wearing their face masks properly. They wore the masks on their chin, not over their noses. This defeats the purpose of the masks, and I will not patronize this restaurant again while I see them wearing the masks incorrectly. read more

Unfortunately the location currently has a low health inspection score mostly for food not being stored or received at the proper temperature, so I will dock one star from that from 3/5 to 2/5. As a Manager of a local business I was shocked at how unprofessional they treated me. I was purchasing a large order for our business for Christmas. My order came to over $60.00. I pre-ordered over the phone. They called back to verify we were legitimate. When I showed up to pick up the order, I paid with a $100.00 bill. The staff freaked out. Someone (who did not identify herself - ever!) walked over snatched the bill went to the back and made a phene call. She came back and said "My Manager said He will do it this time, but don't try it again." They knew my business and I gave them my bank information. My order was over $60.00. If they expected me to pay with exact change or small bills, they should have told me when I placed the order or when they called me back to verify. I get that they have been burned, we all have. I just think it is poor business to embaras your customers in a room full of people. I will never be back and I will tell all who enter my business how poorly I was treated. read more
