Smokin' Good Vibes, But Not That Kind of Smokin'. A cannabis-loving friend put me onto this spot,…read moreand after hearing all the hype, I had to check it out for myself. I quickly learned why it's a favorite among the elevated crowd, the sandwiches are named after different THC strains! Before anyone asks, no, the food is not infused. The names are just part of the fun. Now, I'm a toasted sub enthusiast, and a toasted sandwich is only as good as its bread. Thankfully, this place delivers. The menu is creative, the atmosphere is laid-back, and there are plenty of little touches that make it stand out. One of my favorite surprises was the drink fountain stocked with old-school Kool-Aid flavors. Instant nostalgia! They also have a full bar and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to kick back and hang out. Don't skip the house-made "smoker snacks" either. The Rice Krispie treats and cookies are dangerously good and worth saving room for. A heads-up: parking can be a little tight up front, but I've heard there's additional parking in the back. My biggest piece of advice? Go big. The small sandwich is basically foreplay, it'll leave you wanting more. Order the large and thank me later. Overall: Great food, fun theme, nostalgic drinks, tasty treats, and chill vibes. Definitely a spot worth checking out, whether you're a cannabis connoisseur or just someone who appreciates a solid sandwich.

I never leave reviews good or bad anywhere but for this I am!…read more Excellent food but we will not be returning! This toxic, rude bartender named Noe literally cards us every time even though he knows we are 40 years old while not carding younger people next to us. Also limited us to only 2 beers without giving a reason after walking in completely sober and not causing any kind of scene at all. Maybe he thought we were talking about him which was not the case. It's unbelievable because we have never had issues with anyone else that works there, seems to be on an imaginary power trip!

It has been a few years since my husband and I tried this place (*think it just opened when we…read morefirst tried it in 2022). Back then, my husband was not happy, you could not order coffee at the table, you had to go to the other side and get coffee and then bring to to the table if you wanted breakfast. Well, a LOT has changed with this place since then. #1...they will bring you what ever coffee you want to order, and they will pick up from next door and bring it to you (husband was happy about that). #2, they now serve lunch and dinner (*we didn't try that yet, but will be back to try that later). Now, Rebecca our server was so nice! She put up with my husband's "shanigans", as he always tries to joke about with everyone! He was hungry, so got the "Big Ol' Breakfast", which had your eggs, half a ham steak, sausage, bacon (Oh, sooo good) breakfast potatoes (could have been just a little more "crisped up), and pancakes!! He cleaned his plate!! LOL! I had (and did not realize until I read my last review, I had "half" of same I ordered before), the Benedict Sampler (where you can choose TWO of benedicts). I got the "Southwest Steak" (*which is what I had last time..LOL), ohhh soo good! If you like "Spicy"...get this...the green chiles and cilantro-lime sauce make this dish! Then, the other one was the "Golden State" with tomato, bacon and avocado (*and little spice too with Siracha sauce on top), and also had the very good breakfast potatoes! Rebecca checked on us often, and we were both glad we came back to this place! We will be back again!

Usually love this place but our experience today was extremely disappointing, especially…read moreconsidering we were celebrating my sister's 30th birthday. The customer service was absolutely horrible from the moment we walked in. There were only two tables in the entire restaurant, so it was not as though the staff was overwhelmed or busy, yet both the host and our waitress were rude and unwelcoming. They acted as though they would rather be anywhere else and made us feel like we were an inconvenience for being there. For a special occasion, we expected at least basic friendliness and hospitality, but the service completely took away from what should have been a fun celebration. The food may have been good but the customer service was enough that we would not return. A restaurant can have great food, but if the staff makes customers feel unwelcome it really impacts the entire experience.

Honestly, this is probably my favorite bakery and coffee shop in Austin. I've been here many times,…read moreand I genuinely don't think I've tried a single thing that I didn't like. The pastries are always fresh, and the dough is absolutely amazing, so soft and delicate that it practically melts in your mouth. Everything we've tried has been delicious. Their cakes are also really good. We've ordered cakes here a few times, and they've always been fresh and delicious. And the coffee deserves a special mention. The cappuccino is excellent. The flavor is rich and balanced. The staff is always friendly, polite, and welcoming. They're happy to warm up the pastries when you ask, and sometimes they even offer to do it themselves, which is such a nice touch. I also really love the space itself. The interior is bright, clean, and beautiful, with plenty of comfortable seating and nicely arranged tables. It's a place where you actually want to sit and enjoy your coffee and pastry. The only thing I wish for is a location in South Austin or somewhere in that direction. We really need you down there! You're seriously missed in South Austin. Please open a location here!

We finally gave this restaurant a try. It's been here for sometime, but we just weren't sure given…read morehow many options there are for Mexican in our area. The changes inside are tremendous from the previous restaurant. They've really went out of their way to make it a more upscale experience. The downside I think is it relates to the ambience is it? It's really dark in there, especially if you getting older and have dimmer view. It would be beneficial for them to put a small light on every table. It would give intimate lighting and take away some of the dark darkness. They do have small candles that are battery operated with those don't do it. We were seated pretty quickly, and staff was super pleasant. Our waiter came over to take our drink order as soon as we were seated. I think maybe we were served by the bartender as I saw him later mixing drinks but that's just a guess neither of us tried anything alcoholic but we were pleasantly surprised to see a lot of people on high tops and at the bar. This boats well for their future. We were served chips and salsa pretty quickly even before our waters came. The chips were really good. Some of the better in the area. They were crispy and fresh. They had a nice bite and weren't terribly thick. Nathan tried the salsa and said it was quite spicy so I did not. We ordered their triple dip, which is guacamole, queso, and bean dip. Personally, I like this combination, especially if you have a gringo like me who can't be really spicy things. I enjoy the bean dip. I thought the beans had a great flavor. The guacamole tasted nice and fresh. I would definitely get it again. The queso was quite a bit spicy. In fact, even Nathan thought it was spicy so we might forgo it in the future. I had enchiladas. The veggie ones. Nathan had the meal that had sausage, chicken and beef covered with cheese with rice and beans. It also came with onions and peppers. He was quite disappointed at the amount of meat on the plate. There was about three times as much onions and bell peppers to anything else. He did not leave full. He said the flavor was good just wasn't enough meat to consider it a full meal. I really enjoyed the veggie enchiladas except they were a bit spicy. They had poblano peppers in them and there was quite a bit. I wonder if their chef has a spicy tongue. I would get them again and just ask that no poblano got put in. I appreciate that. There was some cheese there as my pet peeve of veggie enchiladas is when there isn't any. I thought the rice and beans were good. Nathan said he saw several things he'd like to try. Hoping he'll be willing to go back. I guess time will tell. So if you like it spicy I would certainly recommend the restaurant.
