Food was ready when I arrived to pick it up and an employee was very responsive when providing containers for the hot sauce bar, which has finally returned after the overblown reaction to COVID. We ordered the medium Hook and Ladder and the medium Meatball sub. Both had great flavors and tasted fresh. This location tends be the better one over any of the other locations in the Alpharetta/Johns Creek/Milton area. I have only ordered from this location now for the past several years and have yet to experience issues like some of the over reviewers (one in particular with the moldy bread who has only posted one review is questionable as it does not seem consistent with this location's track record). read more

Jamaican Jerk Turkey large sandwich had mold on bread. We had picked up the order and were unable to return to the store at that time so I immediately submitted a complaint on the Firehouse app on 9/1. On 9/4, I received a voicemail from someone from the store. However, he only apologized and never addressed a credit for the sandwich which should have been the done considering it was $13 and inedible. On 9/2, the store could have easily credited the charge for just that one sandwich as I ordered it via the app and all the info was available in the complaint. I would have been fine with reward points equivalent to a refund for the sandwich as we were long time customers of Firehouse. However, no action was taken by Firehouse or that specific location even after following up recently with Firehouse concerning the status of a credit. At this point, I don't expect any response from them so as far as I am concerned they have lost a customer and gained another poor review. read more

I love firehouse subs. It is my favorite franchise sub place. My go to sub is the hook and ladder. I love the steamed meat with the chewy bread. The only problem is in this age of ordering online (-1), I do not know if they are undermanned or the system is faulty or if the management does not know how to make the orders in the designated time. I'm being a bit generous giving them 4 stars....they're honestly about a 3.5. I've been to a lot of Firehouse locations, and I feel this one is a bit stingy with their meat. Firehouse in general makes a fantastic sub, which is why they get 4 stars instead of 3. They have a ton of great options from basic ham & turkey to meatball to Italian....and many more. They steam their subs which gives them an edge over the standard cold or oven heated subs you see at most other places. This location is fast & friendly....I just wish they'd add a bit more meat to the sandwich to make this a 5 star experience. It seems like $7 for a sandwich should be enough to be fair with your meat portions :) read more

This is honestly the best firehouse I've ever been to. The sandwiches looked like those you would see on a commercial. They were by far the most carefully crafted subs we've ever had and the order was 100% accurate. They did a great job in the preparation and the sandwiches tasted delicious because of it! I ordered online, it took 2-3 minutes longer than my estimated pickup time, but they were incredibly busy, while I was there. About 4-5 large online orders were picked up in the span of less than 5 minutes while I waited for my own. I will definitely be ordering from this Firehouse again. read more

I typically have a great experience at firehouse subways. I usually go to the one on Winward Parkway. The experience I had at this McGinnis ferry. Location was probably the worst in years. When I walked in, it was as if I was unwanted. There was one other customer who appear to be waiting and two employees behind the counter, while one gentleman was adjusting some signage. No one greeted me for a crazy amount of time. And then when they did, they said, are you here picking up "someone" order. I said no they said well who's order are you picking up. I said I'm trying to order. She basically gave me a annoyed look and said go down there to order I basically felt as if my service was not necessary there in that I could go spend my money elsewhere. Awful service! My mother and I called in a pick up order. The girl on the phone confirmed our order three times and STILL got it wrong. I ordered 4 GF buns for meal prep throughout the month and they took them out of the package. Why? Why would you do that? Then, my mother ordered... and was charged extra for.. extra ham but received a sandwich with bacon on it. Where on earth do you get bacon .. when ordering "ham". They also failed to put lettuce on the sandwich when we specifically asked for EXTRA lettuce. When we called in to request an adjustment, the man on the phone was extremely rude and hung up on us, then refused to answer the phone. This location has gone completely down hill after what seems to be a manager change.. new management is in no way friendly, the store is dirty, food takes 20-30 minutes for anything to come out.. it's like the new management hired nothing but family/friends who are completely under qualified to be working in this Industry. They always take forever but last time they didn't have my order ready at the agreed time which in turn made me late and this time they got ALL FOUR sandwiches wrong. I've been here twice and ordered the same thing each time, the steak and cheese sandwich. It is just full of yummy, gooey goodness. Add the mushrooms and it's perfect. The dining area is very clean and orderly. Sometimes they even have a few chairs outside so you can eat at the outside table when the weather is nice. Customer service is pretty good and food is delivered fairly quickly. As usual I subtracted a star because they use the Coke freestyle machine which makes a total and complete mockery of drinking a Coke. read more

Today, on father's day I came to this store in McGinnis Ferry Road with my family to celebrate. We were the first only ones in the store past 12pm. Nobody bothered to greet us, I asked the manager Allen for the special I saw on line for father's day and he told it was not available. Instead, I have to buy much more than I expected. I left disappointed and offended for the kind of poor service. We went to Arby's where they treat you well like many other fast food restaurants in same area of Johns Creek. First, this is the place to get a great tasting sandwich! My son and I probably pop in once a month and sit down to a clean table to each eat the double #7. (Don't forget your chips!) Be careful to not get carried away, as your meal can get expensive fast, especially when ordering drinks. I will say my only disappointment with this FHS is that I see all-new employee faces with each visit. I like getting to know the regulars but it's hard to make friends when the rotation appears to be a regular occurrence. Also on at least two occasions I've noticed the employees are disconnected and unenthusiastic. "Hi. What will you have? K. Bye." Heck, I can get that at home from my wife.
