The Beef Stroganoff was hearty and comforting, exactly the kind of meal you want when you are craving something substantial. The split pea soup made a great complement to it. The Breakfast Feast continues to be a favorite, and the Challah French Toast is especially good, thick, satisfying, and a nice change from ordinary French toast. Deli News is one of those places where you can come hungry, sit down, and enjoy familiar comfort food without needing anything fancy. Breakfast or lunch, there is plenty on the menu to keep giving us reasons to come back.

My favorite soup is the hodgepodge but the matzo ball did not have a good flavor at this location. This location is not a sit at the table style restaurant but rather order at the counter and get a number. The service is good and employees are nice. I still recommend going to the Preston & Campbell location in Far North Dallas for a better experience I'd say that location is a 5 Star experience.

Once home he opened the sandwich and was happy to see the extra pickles he requested. The sandwich was a bit larger than the ones from other places. He said it was very tasty, his only gripe was the amount of mayonnaise, it was too much for him. Other than that small issue, he said he enjoyed the sandwich and would definitely visit the place again. I can't wait to try out some of their menu items in the future!

I thought my GPS was going wonky because it took me to a dealership with a small stop shop in front. Finally, I saw the name of the shop in the middle of several other retail places. It doesn't look like much from the outside - but sometimes those are the best finds. And that's what happened here. It's really small. The people working the front counter were exceptionally nice and patient while I tried to fugue out what I wanted to order. They make their bread fresh every day, and it showed up in every bite. I didn't try them, but I did snag a French fry and it was very good- golden and perfectly crispy with a piping hot soft center.
