I love firehouse, but I just got an Italian sub from this location and it wasn't toasted. The bread was completely soft. I've ordered an Italian sub probably 25 times from other locations and it has always been toasted, except for this time. Disappointing when you're paying $15+ dollars for a large sub. read more

Very long wait 20+ minutes after ordering while no other customers were here. Coworkers talked amongst themselves and joked around instead of working. Employees were cleaning up preparing to close down at 7:55 when we walked in when they close at 9. Very frustrating will choose other sub places moving forward or a better location. read more

Food was hit and miss. I ordered the "Engineer" and ended up pretty happy with it but the missus got the "Firehouse Meatball" and a number of meatballs were burn. Not enough to ruin the sandwich but enough to make every few bites an unpleasant surprise. The other complaint was the employees. We must have walked into the empty store in the middle of a very important conversation because we had to wait for the two employees to finish talking before being able to place our order. Been there twice and got a steak and cheese, no pickle and I asked for sauce on the side, didn't get that either. The sandwich was good but most of the filling was on one side of it (8inch). Probably go back to subway read more

Food is alright but worst service from any food place I've ever received. I work not far from it so look to get a sandwich on my lunch break multiple times a week but never get them to answer, staff is always rude and sitting down on their phones or eating. been told before that they were busy and couldn't do carry out orders at that time so I went in to place it and one customer was in there. I think that the food is great and the staff are friendly but way too casual. It's uncomfortable to sit through your entire meal without feeling like you're intruding on their conversations. Without fail the last 3 times I've visited this location the managers other staff members are talking or yelling to the rest of the staff from out in the sitting area instead of just walking up to them and talking at a reasonable volume. It's like going to a down graded version of Subway.. but WORSE. Their bread was hard and stale. Tasted pretty bad. Their meatballs felt like I was eating the droppings from all the other meats and smashed into a ball. It was pretty bad. The only cool part was seeing all the hot sauces they had to offer. It is a good firehouse location. Employees always seem friendly when I am there. They may seem to be a bit casual but nevertheless not too terribly slow. My favorites are the #1 hook and ladder (get it with no mayonnaise or mustard) and the #10 smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket. Both are made better by adding some extra bbq sauce and srirachi. If you are looking for a hot sub they are a good choice although sometimes the bread can be a bit hard which I think is from the toasting process. Doesn't bother me. Definitely try their signature cherry limeade stuff and add some fresh squeezed lime. Also, take some home for a really good mixer :) ..... read more

We absolutely love these sandwiches and like that Firehouse gives back to the community, but tonight this place was just nasty. Tables had not been wiped (not just crumbs all over the tables but pieces of food too) and the floor was sticky and nasty. Got subs for lunch with my coworkers. The food was hot and the service was good and the employees were polite. I always forget that the steak sub comes with Dijon mustard so I had to choke my sandwich down back at the office. My co-worker's sandwich was one with oil and vinegar but it was so soaked it made the bread soggy. I also forget that they put a pickle spear wrapped with the sandwiches so everything kindof has that pickle essence to it. My other friend had the chicken salad sandwich which is more mustard based and wasn't really pleased. Overall, I'd give it a try again sometime. read more

Went yesterday to get lunch with my husband. I got the club on a sub- it was good, but my husband wanted the brisket. Was told it would be cheaper if we got a whole sandwich... so we assumed they were gonna charge us for a large to save money and then do half and half. They didn't do the brisket for my husband; they just have us a whole club on a sub. I guess we misunderstood that part. My husband asked that for his half to only have mayo and mustard- I wanted all the toppings. The whole sandwich had all toppings which was annoying because my husband had to pick off the lettuce, tomato, and onions. Not sure if we'll be back for awhile. read more

Don't let these other reviews fool ya, firehouse sub's are on fire I put in an online order and everything was perfect. We ordered a brisket and a club on a Sib. Quality meats tomatoes and cheese, and the people were super friendly. I was a subway gal, but now I don't even know who subway is. Get some firehouse! read more

In my opinion the meat here is much tastier than any of the other sub shops. Don't get me wrong, I like Subway just fine, but the meat here is tastier, the sauces seem perfect for the sandwich and the flavors work together to give you that mouth watering, fully involved taste sensation you're always craving. The people are nice, the place is clean so no issues there at all. If I have any complaint it's that sometimes the sandwich gets a little soggy - they steam them to heat them and maybe occasionally the steam along with a little too much sauce creates a bit of a mess. read more

Wow!! Great food! great service! There is a new manager there and it seems like things are much better than earlier reviews. Place was clean and orderly. Some new folks there that appear to be training but didn't seem to be a big deal as the line went pretty quickly and the good was delivered with a smile in a short amount if time. Overall a great experience. I give 5 stars. Will definitely be back. read more
