Really great sandwiches, a step above quiznos and subway. The pistrami new york whatever its called is really good, their meatball sub is amazing. Beef brisket is pretty good as well. Nice, quick, easy option. I really love the fireman vibe in there too. read more

CAMBRIDGE location on Hespeler Rd. Usually Firehouse has great subs. But for the price they charge, I want more to my sandwich then just bread :/ I get home, look at my sub and it's literally mostly bread. I got the steak sub. There's VERY little meat and such on this thing. Why? The Cambridge location is the one that seems to be scoring low points in my opinion for some reason. How disappointing. Now I have to go get something else for dinner. Ugh read more

This location never gets my order right. Last time asked for hot peppers on the side - they are all over the sandwich! This time no mustard or mayo requested -BOTH - SLATHERED all over the sandwich. Nice going FIREHOUSE! Pathetic! NO MORE SUBS! read more

Ever since a friend got me introduced to Firehouse Subs.. I had to break up with Subway.. I'm sorry, but I didn't think subs can taste this Good! The bbq beef brisket is my favorite and the Chili is So GOOD! This place is a must try, I should of came sooner! My goodness. This location is good for delivery as well, they got my order right and tasted good and Fresh! I highly recommend this place, especially this location. read more

Was delicious, staff was friendly, only issue was my online ordered sub sat on the toaster for a while even though after i paid the staff member let everyone in the line know that i was here when it was ready and it sat there for 10 minutes. I didn't want to question it incase those weren't my subs but after 10 mins they finally figured it out! still delicious. read more

History

Established in 1994.

Growing up in a family that is both entrepreneurial and built on more than 200 years of firefighting heritage, it seems we were destined to start Firehouse Subs. Of course we tried other things along the way to our American dream, but everything we experienced on our path led us to Firehouse Subs. Over 20 years after opening the first restaurant, with over 1,100 Firehouse Subs restaurants, we're convinced we're doing a few things right. Turns out, people absolutely love the same things we do - the best meats, cheeses, and toppings we can find. People come back again and again to Firehouse Subs because, unlike other sub places, we steam our premium hand-sliced meats and cheeses, releasing a rush of flavors, then stuff a serving that's way over code on one of our toasted private recipe sub rolls.
