Reminded the crew when they came that the prior service they had installed a riser and pointed out the area of the riser so don't dig up the yard. I could write a novel on the issues but to hit the high points: - no supervision from the Project Manager (Eddie) on the job - the workers dug in the wrong place; did the wrong job that was asked - caught our well line with their back hoe and yanked out the line from the well (we are still trying to get this fixed properly) - didn't couple the pipes together properly and buried the pipe - twice! thank goodness we saw the leak through the dry dirt - they put in IRRIGATION LINES instead of SCHEDULE 40 for the work they did on our septic system - Lied about issues/damages done but we have security cameras so we had everything on video and could show the PM - Hit our fence with their equipment - never told us but since we have cameras we could see what happened - The Project Manager came to review the work and started to make repairs once - he NEVER came back. - The list goes on but the problems don't... even today my husband is out trying to still find and fix the leak(s) from their repair - We did have to have a different septic company come to do the original job than needed fixing. That got fixed but now we are just fixing the issues caused BY BISHOP-THEIM I know it's hard to find a good company to work on your septic systems but PLEASE look somewhere else. Showed up when he said he would and evaluated the situation. The 56 year old septic tank had not been serviced in 20 years. It was full and leaking around lid into dirt. He stopped pumping when parts were exposed that had completely crumbled into gravel. He asked before proceeding with anything that might involve more cost. He did the necessary repairs and pumped the tank quickly but with care to do it correctly. His price was much less than expected and according to the plumber friend also much less than other companies. They have the cleanest equipment I've ever seen for a septic company. He packed down the dirt gently until it was completely level ready for grass seed and was very careful to not tear up the rest of our yard as a different company did at another home. I had recently purchased a new home and had only lived in it for 30 days before their plumber's negligence caused my basement to flood. I had paid $7,000 for a sewer line replacement, and despite taking my full payment, the plumber failed to complete the job. He had left my home exposed from the outside, allowing water to pour in during a storm three weeks later. This was no accident -- it was pure negligence. When he finally returned after the flooding, he casually admitted that he had been supposed to come back three weeks earlier to lay cement over the area he worked on but failed to do so. That level of carelessness was completely unacceptable. Because of his negligence, I had to endure devastating damage. My finished basement had to be gutted -- all the drywall was ripped out, mold remediation had to take place, my engineered hardwood floors were destroyed, and I had been dealing with contractors in and out of my house. Two and a half months later, the situation was still ongoing. I still had no floors. My drywall was still missing. My home remained a disaster and unusable, and I hadn't been able to enjoy it since the nightmare began. To make matters worse, I had to miss several days of work to manage the non-ending contractors, all while enduring the overwhelming stress of the constant repairs.
