When we ran into an issue with being able to complete the last gutter on one side of our house, Michael was willing to wait for us to work on solving the issue. He even offered a couple of suggestions. He did not rush us, or in any way make us feel we were a problem for him. When we were able to creatively work around the issue, he put us right back on the schedule. This is a man whose word is his bond! Materials, workmanship and attention to detail was all top notch. From quote to completed project Michael was there. He pointed out a few non-gutter related items that I needed to address and really wanted to make sure that we were happy. Long story short - the man takes pride in his work. Michael Durr and his crew at Firehouse Gutters were truly awesome! They were timely, dependable, and the quality of the final install and products were great. Michael and his guys also replaced a couple of rotten facial boards for us that surfaced after the old gutters had been removed. I had some paint left over from the last house painting and Michael painted the facial boards for a very small fee. Michael came out and did an estimate and it was lower than most peoples by at least $200 and was willing to do a small job (around 50ft) for gutter installation. He was genuinely nice and empathetic, and was there for all my customer care needs. Only 2 issues arose from the installation, 1st they forgot the splash blocks (he brought by the next day) and 2nd they could have done a better job aligning the installation to my home, instead its about 2inches off before it hugs my home, however overall I was satisfied at the work and the price, could have been a better work on the people that came by to do it but the value was there. Like the other person, most people have a $500-1000 minimum bid, however Michael at this time his was $300 which made him an easy choice. read more

They did an amazing job! The gutters match the house perfectly and they are super strong. I put my ladder against it to get on the roof for Christmas lights and was blown away at just how strong it was. The customer service was also top notch. Such a stand up guy! No Rating. No recommendation for Firehouse Gutters. Firehouse Gutters installed our gutters in 2016. Firehouse had to come back several times for leaks, never on time or just showed up. For repairs, never had the right tools or parts with them. Firehouse gutters did not install gutters correctly, color bands did not match downspouts, screws not centered & wrong brackets were used. Firehouse gutters were failing. n June 2017, we had another gutter company come out & give us a quote for either repair or replacement. New gutter company chose to replace everything. New gutter company were taking down Firehouse Gutters & found that Firehouse did not install gutters under the flashing instead was installed above. Firehouse replaced a fascia board & new gutter company found no flashing. read more

After contacting a number of rain gutter companies in Austin who were unwilling to take on a small job (Even Home Depot told me their contractor has a $750 minimum--business must be very good these days), I turned to HomeAdvisor to search for a small gutter installation on a new room addition. Michael, the co-owner of Firehouse Gutters contacted me right after I did the search and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. He gave me a very reasonable estimate and we set a day to begin the job. The day the job was to begin, an employee called in sick, which can happen to anyone, and we had to reschedule. Michael called me immediately and we rescheduled for a couple of days later. On the rescheduled day he and his crew showed up promptly on time and did an efficient and complete installation. They even painted a bare spot in the fascia at no extra cost, which was a little extra handyman job I probably couldn't find anyone to do otherwise. The installation is quality work and everyone left the area clean. Michael stands behind his work, and said that if any issue should appear, to call and he would come right out to take care of it. The installation is exactly what I needed at a cost below what I expected, and I was really impressed with both Michael's and the crew's courtesy and customer service focus. Firehouse gutters also does full-house seamless gutter installations, and I'm sure anyone who hires them will be completely satisfied. read more
