Had heard all about this bacon from my Brother and he was having a BBQ and I was in the area and when he heard he asked that I bring the Bacon as my Contribution.. So stopped in and ordered thinking its bacon right, how long can it take.. Well it takes about 25 mins precisely, or they are just that slow not sure. As I sat there waiting the smells were insane.. and the amount of people that visit this location is INSANE.. There are tons of little rooms and different areas, bars, patios, places... There were people coming & going and in & out... Makes me want to come have dinner real soon. Came to see Jae Mannion in the Backyard. It's a great space! Outdoors yet somewhat covered. A few large toys, some couch seating. Had some great BBQ. Really enjoy eating here. We don't come often but are happy with our decision every time. Kids meals are perfect and include a drink and cookie, I really appreciate that there are lots of chicken options ( usually get the yardbird) and my husband likes all of the sandwiches ( pulled pork, brisket etc). This is not the first time I've been to Firefly's. My family and I have actually had it three times (1 dine in and 2 take out). The ribs are amazing and the pulled pork is tender. We especially love their beef brisket. The only thing I'd have to knock down a star is the online menu. It's not the clearest thing to understand and order from. We are visiting from Northern California and just had wonderfully delicious BBQ here with all the fixings. We had the brisket, baby back ribs, St Louis ribs and chicken with a great variety of sides. The portions are very generous. Our server Kat is an absolute delight, and it was great to meet Rob the GM. This place is a gem. The candied lacquered bacon is to die for - it is not to be missed. Overall BBQ was decent. My reason for 3 star was because of the advertising of candied bacon on their menu. My kids love candy bacon because of the thin crispy sweet texture - i ended up ordering one for each kid. However when it came out it was basically a slab of pork belly not bacon! Delicious BBQ. This restaurant is a place worth driving to. The brisket is so flavorful and tender. The drinks are enormous here! The homemade potato chips, Mac and cheese, fries, burgers, pulled pork are all phenomenal. The service was friendly and down to earth. Awesome BBQ that's nearby the central Mass and Metrowest area. I can't believe I haven't visited Fireflys sooner. The food and service here has been great every time I've visited. On the weekends, the restaurant has great energy and definitely a fun environment to just kick back and enjoy the weekend. First time at Firefly's and their COVID policies are spot on. We wanted this to be great but it was a let down. The pulled pork, ribs, and cucumber salad all excellent. The fried chicken was dry as was the brisket. The corn bread was as expected sweet and tasty. The Mac and cheese was average but tasty. My biggest complaint is the parking. They guided us to an upper parking lot even though the main lot wasn't full. That was reserved for take out. The lot is pull in at an angle but you have to back out the lot, not just your spot. If I go back I will leave before parking there again. Also it's covered in trees and I had the top off of my Jeep. So overall average. Living in Charlotte, I've come to have an appreciation for barbecue, generally pulled pork or pulled chicken as that's what we're known for in the Carolinas. I've been to Kansas City and I've been to San Antonio, where they're big on ribs and brisket. So when I thought to give a barbecue joint in the Boston suburbs a try, I had very low expectations. What can a New Englander know about cue? Well, I was wrong. This is some good stuff. I had the three meat combo plate: ribs, brisket and smoked turkey. The ribs were meaty and tasty and while not "fall off the bone", the meat was delicious. The brisket was also moist and not an especially "dry" cut. It did need a little bit of the Memphis sauce to kick it up, but not much. And the turkey was excellent. Actually, the turkey was the best of the three. Very juicy, very moist, Cut with a fork sort of stuff. The cornbread was quite good. Dry, but a good consistency that held together well. More like a flat cake. Mac & cheese was only okay. A little glutenous and maybe it should have been hotter. The potato salad was very good with a great consistency and plenty of flavor. Great list of draft and bottled beers, including some local micros and some distant macros. Very good service. Do they know 'cue in Marlborough? Yep. It's the best I've had in the Northeast. Tip: The entrance to the parking lot is to the RIGHT of the restaurant as you're facing it. read more

Good, friendly service. They let us order just before they closed. Memphis sauce is their signature. Dill pickes fried for $8 are great. Nice batter, good dipping sauce. $15 Rib with 2 sides (greens and cucumber salad) and cornbread. The rib is colder and tougher than expected, but the flavor is sweet with a tiny bit of spice. The cornbread was cold, but it was the end of the day and to be expected. The greens were great, as was the cucumber salad. Good balance of flavors. Not too bitter or tangy. Irene and I eat out allot and Street passing this hillside restaurant (well, you can't miss it on Route 20) we decided to stop in for lunch. What a treat. Parking is winding to the upper level and a short walk down. Since there was a wait for the patio, we decided to sit in. Gerry (with a G) was right with us, the consummate server. Pleasant, attentive, conversational. QR codes are a pain. He provided us with paper menus and a list of specials. I opted for an IPA, Irene had a sweet iced tea. Gerry have us some space to look over everything. When he came back, Irene had the pulled pork with Cole slaw and home made chips. I ordered the po'boy with fries and Cole slaw. Another excellent meal. The portions are generous and delicious. Toy full for dessert, we took the bill. I won't comment on price because it's an individual's choice. The Mr. ordered pulled pork with sides as well, both entrées were delicious. I highly recommend the Passion Sunset cocktail, if not you won't be disappointed with the many other cocktails they have to offer. The manager of the store was very nice and attentive he did a walkthrough ensuring our experience is great, always asking how we were enjoying everything.
