According to their website, The Commons happily hosts everything from bridal showers, weddings, and birthday parties to festivals and farmer's markets! They offer some lovely options for any event with not too shabby rental rates We've enjoyed visiting with our dog for a picnic and walking. It is a very clean and pet friendly complex. It's spacious, offers covered pavilions, walking paths, and multiple restrooms. The grounds are well maintained with plenty of parking, too. We look forward to returning for photos with the larger than life Little Debbie treat replicas at the Little Debbie Park!

It's a nice shaded pavilion with plenty of space to fit a good number of people in. The bathrooms are tidy and up to date which is nice for a park type of bathroom. It's close to the Imagination Station so you can walk about and then go play. They hold different events here throughout the year which is great spot for a common meeting area. Plenty of parking around the area which is also a plus.

Theybare not open in the mornings, when 90% of folks with jobs actually can work out. The gym is well equipped, but quite cramped. There are no true free weights, but do not fear, there are enough machines to get a great workout. They a also offer Yoga and ? Tai Chi? . But be prepared to pay for these. 10 per lesson, or 30 dollars for four.

Set your navigation for "off the beaten path" with a trip to Roper Park in Jasper GA. Nestled…read morebetween Jasper and Tate, just past the end of 575, you'll find plenty of green space for a day in the park. Diamonds and soccer fields stay busy with rec league teams, with the occasional cross country meet, including twice in fall. These races have been our reason to visit the past several years, and we've witnessed the positive evolution of the space in that time. A large playground area will keep the younger participants happy, with colorful barriers surrounding to increase the safety and fun factors. Watch out for flying round projectiles from the games surrounding on all sides though. Grab time with the orange roundball on outdoor courts or in the Pickens County Community Center adjacent, then cool off in the outdoor pool in warm seasons. Run/walk/jog on the 1-2 miles of winding paths throughout the park, and follow the exercise signs along the way for a little cross-training. Take a thoughtful break at the Peace Pole monument courtesy of the Rotary Club of Jasper, then move on to percussion with the musical feature nearby. Plenty of parking at the community center and along the back of the park, and on race weekends at the school across the street. Don't miss the infamous tunnel on your way across the highway, taking care since it's part of the 5K course. I'll be back at least once more for another late-season race, and hopefully after that.

There is a large, fenced in playground with plenty of equipment for kids to climb on and play. They even have small slides for Littles and a swing for wheelchairs, which is a wonderful new addition. There are bathroom facilities, a covered picnic area, tennis courts, a basketball court, and it is right next to a recreational center/pool/fitness center. It's right on the water and there is a series of trails, with the option of listening to information via an audio tour along the trails. Great area for people of all ages.

Miss Trish, the gym teacher for our class, is GREAT! The lack of Ac is a bummer in the summer but you just have to dress for it.
