Had the steak again - and tried the Fire + Smoke salad and Cesar. Grilled Romaine will always be my favorite. And you can't beat the scallops. Wanted to also mention that the mocktail list is excellent - taste and presentation of the rum-less dragonfruit drink makes you want more than just one.

I picked this restaurant for a work dinner. Everything was so good better than I could have imagined. The service was excellent! The ambiance actually makes it perfect for date nights or anniversary celebrations specifically. We ordered the American wagyu steak options for entrees. I got the ribeye my friends both got the filet. The steak melts in your mouth so delicious!! For appetizers we ordered the Beef tartare and the pork belly. Finished the meal off with crème brûlée cheesecake and ice cream The drinks were really good as well This place is definitely worth checking out for any and all drinks f your celebrations in life!!!!

This place exceeded my expectations for fine dining! The restaurant was very clean and very nicely decorated! You feel like you're in a modern cabin kinda vibe. Service was excellent! We ordered a bit of everything: Ribeye, Brussels sprouts, some of their specialty desserts...everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend if you're in the Knoxville area!

Our party of four ate at Fire Smoke recently. It was our first visit, and we came away very impressed. Decision to dine here was made sort of last minute, so we didn't have a reservation. We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened and were seated in the bar area. First off, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. It's on the small side and feels very cozy and intimate. Our server was amazing in guiding us through the menu. We all started with cocktails which were so good! For entrees, I had the salmon, and others had the fillet, roasted chicken and the pork chop. It was all delicious!

Ate at Fire + Smoke tonight. You definitely need a reservation and this is an upscale restaurant. The steaks were excellent with a good seasoning, moist, and cooked to order. The steak fries are a little too salty, and left in the oil a little long, but had great flavor and were filling. It was my wife and I on one ticket and our two friends on their own ticket. With dinner, an appetizer, and alcoholic beverages our total with gratuity was about $250. Follow me on Yelp for more to see and do and eat in Knoxville and the East Tennessee area.

Service was amazing, thank you Joe. The food was 10/10! I've never had a better steak than at this steak house... and the pork belly, I could eat that everyday

Date night with my hubby, so wanted to try this newer place. Absolutely awesome! Nice dining area, but not a huge place. The service is great. The food is absolutely delicious! The North Carolina trout was perfectly seasoned and grilled. One of the best fish I've ever eaten, for real. Sides are all delicious, especially the mushrooms and mashed potatoes. We finished with a gluten free torte, yum! Excellent, high quality food, with thought and care put into it. Totally recommend!!! Can't wait to go back!!

I always judge a BBQ place by their burnt ends, if they get those right, everything else usually follows. Well, Dead End BBQ absolutely nailed it. The burnt ends here are everything you want them to be: perfectly smoky, just the right amount of sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. They tell the whole story of the pitmaster's craft in a single bite. I also tried the smoked bologna, and one bite took me straight back to my adolescence, rich, savory, and with that nostalgic flavor only real wood smoke can give. The Pimento Mac & Cheese was another standout: creamy, cheesy, and with that subtle pimento tang that keeps you going back for "just one more forkful." My daughter went for the brisket, and she raved about how juicy and flavorful it was, with just the right amount of bark. We both appreciated the variety of BBQ sauces available, each bringing its own personality to the table, sweet, tangy, spicy, you can mix and match to your heart's content. Service was friendly and laid-back, and the atmosphere felt like a true BBQ joint should: warm, casual, and a place you want to linger. Dead End BBQ isn't just a meal, it's a reminder of why great barbecue is worth the stop.

Though the food quality is fine, I have never in my life seen such small portions for the sides and the correlating prices. Let me be blunt, for the money this is a great deal. Service is good, not amazing, but good. The place is a bit loud, there are TVs all around. What isn't to like? My spouse could only say "disappointing" about his. He ordered Thunder Road Chicken Nachos and a Caesar Salad. The Thunder sauce only penetrated the first layer of chips, so he requested another mini-ramekin (an extra 50 cents). A layer of raw (not pickled) jalapeño slices, some with seeds, dotted the top of the dish and was too hot for his taste, even with a ramekin of sour cream to soften the heat. And the Caesar salad: Unfortunately the greens became rather limp (lacked crunchiness) when coated with an oil-and-vinegar-tasting dressing. Thankfully a generous sprinkling of fresh Parmesan cheese and ample croutons completed the salad and made it acceptable. Not yet no least was our attentive server, whose name sounds like rain, treated us well.

I will say I was spoiled with amazing bbq in Texas before moving here! I came across Oakwood BBQ food truck when we stopped at Southside Garage for a few beers. I love food trucks because I always feel like they elevate food typically more then a normal restaurant. I ended up getting some sliced brisket with elotes (Mexican street corn) and coleslaw. I took one bite of the brisket and I literally thought I was back in Texas. I ended up going back up to the window and talking to the employees working and letting them know how great it was. He informed me that the owner is actually from Texas so it makes since he knows how to execute a brisket well. The elotes was good, I've never had it with jalapeños it was different but I wasn't mad about it. I've been to a lot of different restaurants around the area that chop up their coleslaw very finely where it's kind of like a mush which I'm not a fan of, has a weird texture.
