Service was bubbly and helpful, and the interior was quaint. There's just enough seating outside, with a setup that lets you choose between sun or shade. Special mention for offering the London Fog iced; my first time trying it, and it is now my new go-to. Prices were surprisingly reasonable considering the quality. Easily the best coffee shop I've tried in London so far.

I ordered the Big Veg (a bunch of vegetables wrapped in collard greens) with their nutty bacon, and a side of sipping broth. My friend got their Seed to Sausage on beet bread, also with a side of sipping broth. The service there is very friendly, and it's a very hip and cool place! I love the concept, and it gives off a great vibe. However, my first experience was less than ideal... The Big Veg cost me $9, and with the sipping broth ($3), the total should have been $12. For some reason, they charged me $15, and so I asked for them to correct it. The correction took a while, but eventually they gave me back in cash. However, the cashier mistakenly gave me less than the amount owed, and overall, the entire refund process was quite slow. That being said, they were very apologetic and kind through it all, so the service was pretty good! My Big Veg fell short of expectations. First off, I must note that it is a take-out place. Although they had warned me beforehand to eat my wrap as a gyro (as the collard green is fragile and cannot sustain the content's weight), by the time I had arrived at my sit-down destination, the paper bag was soaked through. The sauce and dressing had leaked everywhere! It was a very messy eat, and despite being very careful, the sauce just kept dripping down my arms and in front of me. I would highly suggest that they reinforce the packaging for stronger protection (i.e., a double wrap). The wrap itself also lacked flavour, though that may have been in part due to my decision to get the nutty bacon (which was essentially just hemp, fried walnuts, with some smokey flavour). Maybe try the cheese or the actual bacon for more taste. The bone broth, though interesting, could have used more depth and flavour. Given my experiences, I would have given two stars - however, I had a bite of my friend's Seed to Sausage sandwich and it was quite tasty! I think it really depends on what menu item you ordered. Hers had the delicious smokey taste of the sausage, and was very clean and aesthetic!

The first impression of décor and display, it is clean, intentional, thoughtful and cozy. We perused the menu and I decided on the fig and cheese croissant, accompanied by an espresso martini. We found our seats at a table and I could not take my eyes off the artistic desserts on display. One in particular was a tree ornament, made of cake, it was shiny and beautiful, almost too pretty too eat. Almost. My only regret is that I didn't enjoy one, but I was too full after lunch. Our meals were delivered to our table and even though I wasn't very hungry when we arrived, the look and smell of the food fueled my appetite. My croissant creation was filled with fresh ingredients and the decadent combination of savory and sweet hit the spot. The espresso martini was wonderful, even my picky husband liked it. To our delight, we had the opportunity to meet the owners, a husband and wife team. Both very stylish, with warm smiles and welcoming conversation. The wife is the pastry chef, I had to wonder if she ever had time to sleep considering the array of beautiful desserts on display and what it must take to perfect them, individually. We look forward to returning on our next visit to London hopefully during the warmer months to enjoy their patio, and THIS time, dessert first! And maybe second! There's a seating area and some items you can purchase near the back. My boyfriend ordered an Americano (of course), and for me, a latte. The Americano came out quite hot so it took him a while to finish it but he said it was good. My latte was creamy and delicious. I wish there was a bit more in the cup and a touch warmer but either way, I was very pleased. They use beans that are roasted locally which is a nice plus! It's a cute spot to visit with a friend or quietly sit and contemplate life while looking out the front window. Get on board and go!
