Sent Oscar a text and pictures of the trees I wanted trimmed. He said he would be happy to come by and take a look. Didn't come by so I left a message on his phone and still no response. Never did hear anything back! Maybe my job was too small or he was just too busy. Either way, have the courtesy to make a lousy call and let me know one way or another! Apparently he doesn't want my repeat business. Funny how so many businesses up here piss and moan about the locals taking their business off the mountain and then wonder why! Found someone who actually WANTS my business and will show up and do the job. Will definitely tell other folks about being treated so poorly as a customer with this outfit. read more

Got another one of those dreaded Abatement Notices and had to have it done by last Friday. I live 3 hours away. Though incredibly busy, Oscar promised me a fair estimate and job completion by the County's deadline one day away. He came through with both, and I really appreciated his fitting me in and sticking with his quote though he found there to be more work than anticipated. He sent me photos and I have to say that it was the best clearing of my lot ever....and I have had to abate annually (sometimes more) for over 30 years. The following day I learned that there were two unknown trucks and trailers stored on my property. Annoying. I called Oscar again for help and he promised to get back to me. It's comforting to have a professional up there to call with an issue comes up; I'll definitely rely on Oscar again. read more

Norm and Susan S. Oscar and his team removed 5 trees from our front yard. Two of them on power lines. They did an amazing job!!! Not only did they remove the trees with skill and provision, they cut them in manageable sizes and took them around to the back yard where they neatly stacked them for us. After that, they blew away all debri from our 2nd story roof and totally raked and cleaned up our yard!!! They put a new degree of excellence to any prior expectations. I shopped around multiple business to have a tree removed at my cabin in Big Bear- not only was Fire Risk Managment the best priced, but they were also the best at responding. They went above and beyond and actually visited my property to give a REAL and ACCURATE quote instead of just guessing off photos. I'm very busy so I really liked how easy, quick, and thorough the whole process was. I will definitely use them again as needed! Thank You! read more

Great communication start to finish on this smaller, riskier job. This tree was super close to the house and totally entangled with power lines, and these guys brought it down cleanly and professionally. Very nice and polite, handled their own risk well by rescheduling once around an emerging winter storm. I'd totally work with them again. A++, five stars, all smiles. read more

Oscar and his team just finished taking care of the trees on our property. They cleaned up all the dead portions and everything looks great. They cleaned up everything after the job and hauled away all the debris. Oscar was extremely knowledgeable about fire codes and gave us great advice. All the members of his team were very friendly and considerate. Oscar is a magician with his chain saws and was able to safely climb and cut some branches that were extremely high up. Cannot thank him enough for the great work and will definitely call on him again when the time comes! read more

Without exaggeration, these guys are legitimately the best! They saved me when a tree fell on my house one windy Big Bear morning. I called around and these guys were so quick to get back to me, drive over and give me an estimate, and deal with my tree falling onto my house situation. They were super kind and fair and even took the time to help clean up some branches hanging close to my roof. I don't leave reviews often, but I had to give credit where credit is due, and these guys are hard working professionals and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend and will be a return customer... but hopefully not because another tree has fallen onto my house... read more

Excellent service and price for driveway snow removal! I can't say how much of a life saver they were when Oscar had responded to me right away through Yelp. My regular snow removal company had not responded in 2 days (during the large snow fall over Thanksgiving break) and the other company that charges rip-off prices (Mile High) that I have used for last-minute needs decided to raise their rates by 25% from last year! On top of the excellent communication & prices, Fire Management even went above & beyond by shoveling a walk path on our porch to our doorway. Will definitely be using them in the future. read more

This place is awesome. We were in a dilemma where we didn't have chains on and we were stuck in the driveway of our AirBNB. AAA would not tow us without chains. We are from the city and have no experience with snow. Fire Risk Management was AMAZING. I tried calling, got voice mail to leave our info so they can get back to us and within a minute they called back, got a couple of guys out to help get our snow chains on and help clear the driveway. Very friendly and reasonably priced. A great company with great service. Thank you so much Fire Risk Management! read more

Oscar was recommended by our realtor to clear one big tree that was leaning against the roof. He then took down a smaller dead tree and cleaned the roof and gutter. He went above and beyond. He texted me before and after and sent pics. We highly recommend FRM! read more

Fire Risk Management - Clean and tidy work - Tree Services Near Me

Oscar and Fire Risk Management are by far the best of the best! I had a few large trees that needed to be pruned and also a few large trees that I needed to be completely removed, stump and all. It was no match for Oscar and his team, they handled it in an outstanding manor. Fire Risk Management can be very busy so I put my trust in Oscar and he did not let me down in regards to getting the job done once it was on his radar. They have a vast knowledge on tree work up to and including pruning techniques to not lose large trees due to excessive pruning. They took all safety measures to not insure they were safe but also all properties in the area, in addition they did an amazing clean up job. I highly recommend Oscar and Fire Risk Management to anyone that has the desire to have trees pruned, removed, or anything in that ball park. I have attached a few pictures of the before and after. read more

Oscar and his team did an amazing job. They were safe and protected the home on the property. I had two massive trees (125'+) right over the house that had to be removed. They cut the trees down branch by branch to protect the house. A pleasure to work with Oscar. Would highly recommend. read more

Oscar and his crew did a great job taking down two dead trees that were threatening the power line to our house. Big Bear electric would not do the work because the trees were not close enough, but had the trees fallen, either one could easily have knocked out our power. He also climbed a 100 foot tall pine adjacent to our house and removed about a dozen dead "widow-maker" branches. He lowered the branches carefully to not hit my house or deck. He was on-time and finished the job in one day, charged a fair price, and cleaned-up afterwards. I strongly recommend Fire Risk Management. read more

FRM Tree Service did an amazing job with the tree removal and stump removal at our cabin. You can see the professionalism and skill that Oscar and his team put in to their work. I had Oscar remove three trees in our yard and he and his team did not only exceed my expectations but went above and beyond the agreed scope of work. I requested for a few blocks of wood for firewood and they neatly piled them in the yard. They also left the yard very clean, free of debris and pine needles. Oscar trimmed the dead branches from the other trees in the yard and was very gracious not to charge me for doing so. The biggest surprise (which made my hubby and I really happy) was that they also cleaned our roof and removed all the pine needles that have accumulated over time. Definitely a life saver as my husband would have had to do it if not for them! Oscar sent me pictures of their work and I couldn't stop looking at them. You can't tell where the trees have been ... that's how clean they left the work site! I highly recommend FRM Tree Service for their services! Excellent work and communication!
