Loved these guys from the get go. From start to finish were professional and responsive. From the quote from Ernesto to the co-ordination, execution and clean up from Chris and his team. Yes they clean up very well. Went around my whole house with a leaf blower after they finished. They left it better than when they came. Very pleasant and helpful. The tree was around 400 years old so wanted to just give a delicate hair cut and treat her with respect. Which they totally got and were very gentle and selective in their cuts. On the plus side, they were the only tree service that actually showed up when I called them for a quote. They showed up and they did the job. However, I spent a lot of money, getting my trees, trimmed, a lot of money, and the Thanksgiving after I got them trimmed I had more tree branches come down from a storm than any of my neighbors, who didn't even have their trees trimmed. So, I can't say that I was all that pleased with the job they did. And they cost a lot. read more

Excellent Service! I own a rental property in Twin Peaks and I called several tree services for estimates. Absolute was the only one that called back! Since I live 95 miles away it is sometimes hard to work with contractors. All my communication was done by phone, email and text. The property was long overdue for fire safety and insurance clean up. Ernesto kept in contact with me after the estimate inspection and we set a date for the job. They were very conscientious about keeping the appointment, even calling me the night before to let me know they would be there a little later than the time they thought. I'm new to The Mountain so finding good companies to do work for you has shown to be difficult. I feel like I lucked out with Absolute! I had been looking for someone to clear my property for INS inspection and fire safety for three weeks. I live tucked back in the forest and the people that owned before me didn't do any upkeep. It was a mess. I called around either they were all to busy and said call in a month or they didn't have a very good reputation. I was driving and saw one of trucks. I thought ohh I need to call them. Later that day I was working on my property when two people road through on horse back. We chatted and the gentlemen(Licensed contractor) told me call Absolute. Well I did and they were great. They did the estimate the same day and were scheduled to clear at the end of week. They even got me in early. I wasn't here when the work took place but when I came home I was SO happy with what I saw. One thing about me is I like things done right the first time and I expect you to deliver. They cut the branches back at the right length. When they cut down my dead pine they cut it at specific length so I can use is for landscaping later. They even made sure they fell the tree in a direction that was out of the way. Trees has to be trimmed around my roof line and the Oak bush trees were out of control. Everything looked fantastic! My neighbor even commented on what a great job they did. We had one small hiccup and some old logs got left behind. I called them to let them know. They were promptly here to clean it up. If your new to the Mountain or looking for a new company to use I highly suggest you give them a call. Great service and Tree trimming is impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Unfortunately, I've come to realize how difficult it is to hire individuals to work on your residence on the mountain (roofers, landscapers, painters, etc.) If you contact a company/contractor off the mountain, you'll probably be told the company/individual does not service the mountain area. If you do successfully locate a company/individual who does do local work on the mountain, you'll either: 1. Avoid contacting them completely because of their God awful Yelp/internet reviews. 2. Never receive a return call or e-mail from your initial correspondence. Or 3. Be quoted a ridiculous sum of money for what you want done to the house. The aforementioned scenarios do not apply to Absolute Tree Service at all. Francisco does not mess around. I called him on a Friday afternoon and he answered; explaining he was currently on a job, but could look at the house later that evening to see what needed to be done. He showed up as scheduled, was very friendly and informative, and listened to exactly what we wanted worked on. Our yard is a fairly decent size, and needed a ton of work after two years of neglecting yard clean-up. There were also several trees that needed to be trimmed or removed. Francisco quoted a price that was more than fair, provided us with his business card, license and insurance information, and told us he would be there the next morning to do the job! The following morning (Saturday), he and another gentleman showed up just as scheduled and immediately got to work. They did an AMAZING job on the yard; the property looks completely different. We were so impressed with the results of the front yard, we hired him to come out in a few weeks to complete yard clean-up in the backyard. I really like this crew! Other well known tree services came to look at the trees I needed to have done and over estimated cost, They had the lifts and all the heavy duty equipment and long waiting lists. Absolute came with a trailor, rope and saws and a really good crew of 4 guys! They did a tough job, and loaded the trailer and left! Very ,very nice to deal with. It was a tough job and rather hard to access the tall trees, but I was really amazed at how skilled they were climbing and working with minimal tools. I will be calling on them again in the future. PS They were all wearing black shirts, black pants and boots. I suggested they change their name to "The All Blacks" ! read more

I had hired Absolute Tree Service to trim some tree branches that were too close to my chimney. There were also other branches hanging over power lines and the roof. They took care of everything except the branches that were too close to the chimney. I had a code enforcement inspection the coming week and that tree was the reason I hired them in the first place. When I called to inform them that the tree that needed to be trimmed the most wasn't touched, I was immediately given their satisfaction guarantee. I know miscommunication, misunderstandings and mistakes happen. I was confident that especially in a small mountain community like big bear, people put their names on their work and their word is their bond. Don't waste your time with the company = terrible customer service. Since they had good Yelp reviews I sent a message on July 16, 2020 = no response. On July 26, 2020 I texted them. First they wanted tree pics, then they wanted my physical address to see if I was in there "service zone." (Either you come to Redlands or you don't). Then they gave a price range for pruning. Two weeks ago the supervisor came to my home to see the tree. At that time he said he'd give me 2 written estimates - 1 to remove deadwood & the other for more extensive tree pruning.
