I couldn't be happier with Mason's Treescape! I had three trees growing too close to my house and encroaching on the foundation. Because the trees were located beyond my back deck on a steep hillside, the job wasn't easy. Joseph and the team at Mason's Treescape came out, carefully assessed the situation, and provided a very reasonable quote. Just a few days later, the crew arrived and got right to work. They quickly and safely removed the trees, trimmed another one, and did an outstanding job cleaning up afterward. As a bonus, they neatly stacked my new supply of firewood, which was greatly appreciated. Everyone on the team was professional, friendly, and efficient from start to finish. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend Mason's Treescape to anyone in need of quality tree service! read more

We recently bought a property in Joshua Tree with a bunch of dead trees on it, I spoke with several companies and decided on Mason's for a few reasons; Joseph being an arborist really knows what he's talking about. He had great communication and went out to walk the property right away. I actually wasn't able to be here the day he walked it, so he FaceTimed me and walked the property with me on the phone, giving me his honest opinion on which Trees could be saved and which ones had to go. His pricing was great and he scheduled us in quickly. Joseph and his crew showed up right on time, and these guys are pros. Great equipment, all top-notch stuff and they knocked out a huge job quickly efficiently and cleanly. They ended up having to cut down over 40 trees, they ground all the stumps down and stacked up the wood that I asked to keep for firewood. I highly recommend Mason's Treescape! read more

Thank you Mason's Treescape for taking care of all our needs! We initially reached out via Yelp and Joseph quickly responded back and answered all my questions. Once answered a quote was sent over for me to review and sign which was super quick and easy. We then got the service scheduled for the next day. Joseph was also flexible and found a time to get the services done before the holidays. The price I was given was very reasonable and not overpriced like other companies I reached out too. The team from Mason's Treescape arrived and quickly got to work in getting the work done. They were very professional and left everything very clean. I feel so grateful that when I put out for bids on my project that Mason's Treescape answered me first. They answered me right away. They arrived at my home the same day and did a walk-through telling me what they would do and gave me an estimate. A few days later all the work was done and it looks amazing. The value to cost ratio is incredible. They trimmed up the trees giving me my defensible space and cleared an absolute mess of a yard around the home. I would absolutely recommend them and I will definitely be using them again myself. read more

Great work and timely service! I had a 75 ft tree growing up against my house in Big Bear, and also had several branches from other trees within a few feet of my roof and chimney. I needed someone rather quickly to handle this work. I left a message for a couple services on Saturday and received a call back from Joseph the quickest (within an hour). He was friendly and helpful, and said he would handle the work within a couple days. He gave a very reasonable quote on Monday and was able to do the work the next day. He and his team were efficient and cleaned up a few extra branches on additional trees. He sent me before and after pictures which highlighted how great he made everything look. Plus, they did most of the work in pouring rain! Needless to say, I was very happy and will absolutely call Joseph every time I need quick and reliable help. Thanks. read more

After reading several reviews, I requested a quote on a Friday and had a response from Joseph within minutes. He came to my house that day after 5pm and was just as pleasant and professional as reviewers had described. Joseph provided me a very competitive rate and an offer for the job to be done that Monday. Joseph and his crew showed up on time and completed the job in a shorter time than I expected. The crew was very efficient and left the yard better then when they arrived. We are VERY pleased with the work done and I will HIGH RECOMMEND Joseph and Mason's to anyone needing this service. I have a large pine tree that needed a pruning as it has grown to a point where the branches were touching the roof of my house. Joseph came out for the estimate and the price was very reasonable. I had concerns that it was too late in season to prune but he reassured me that it is the manner that pruning is done that is more important rather than the season. His crew came out a few days later and completed the job quickly. I am very happy that the tree has been trimmed and will now have less stress from the wind. I highly recommend Mason's Treescape for any arborist services. read more

Joseph Mason from Mason Treescape is truly wonderful. Absolutely incredible customer service, follow-up and a delight to work with. We were up in our Lake Arrowhead home after the rainy season and noticed that one of the 60ft pine trees on the property was leaning against our upper deck, totally encroaching on the house. We immediately started calling around to find a company to help us, Joseph was quick to respond to my phone call, and was out the very next day taking a look at the tree. Not only did he give us a reasonable quote, for a very extremely tall tree, in a delicate location next to a power line, but he also pointed out the other trees that needed to be trimmed to bring us up to code and safe-keep our house. Despite being booked out for weeks, he found time in his work schedule, just a couple days later to get his crew out. They did an incredibly thorough job, safely removing the tree, and cleaning up afterwards. I'd HIGHLY recommend Mason's Treescape, Joseph made what could have been a stressful situation, effortlessly easy. Thank you so much. read more

Mason's did a fabulous job for me at a reasonable price. Joseph was great communicating with me which I loved. To meet CA Fair Plan conditions, I had to remove 5 Italian cypress and 2 good sized pine trees. I also had 2 sycamore trees and a large CA Juniper trimmed up and shaped. The crew showed up on time and started working right away. Everything looks much better than I thought it would, and the crew cleaned up all the trimmings, leaving the area looking better than it was originally. They did all that work in just a few hours too! I'll definitely be using Mason's again in the future! read more

We're scheduled for a backyard renovation but wanted to have our a very large ash tree trimmed up before the contractors arrived. Joseph worked with us to ensure that it was completed on time. We had obtained other quotes and Masons Treescape was the best price by about half. They did a professional job, explaining what would be best for our tree. They are highly experienced and very knowledgeable. The men that came to perform the work were very courteous and friendly, always wanting to be sure that the job was completed to our satisfaction. They even trimmed the smaller honey Locust out front while they were here. Joseph always kept in touch via telephone and text messaging throughout the whole process from quote to completion.
