I called 5 local-ish companies and Cristina at Aguilar's was the only one to call back. Within a few hours they were at the property, texting pictures and making suggestions. I sent them the violation notice and they came up with a reasonable estimate along with a timeframe of being able to start. Cristina, Irad and their crew did a great job following the notice to a "T", making sure everything was hauled away and cleaned up with days to spare before the deadline. Porter is contracted to snow plow our neighborhood. Every time it snows we end up with 2-3 ft high…read moreburms in front of all the driveways in our neighborhood - except, of course, the driveways that belong to friends of Porter. Doesn't matter if you already plowed your driveway and that the houses are clearly occupied, you're going to get blocked in by the lazy plow job. We have vulnerable people in our community, people who may need the immediate support of an ambulance. How is EMS supposed to access a home, let alone move an adult to an ambulance, when there's a huge burm of ice and snow in the way? They clearly have the ability to not block driveways because they don't block their friends and employees in, but just don't care to not do it to everyone else. I'd say that maybe I'm spoiled from living in other snowy communities where the plows made a huge effort to keep driveways clear, but this level of lazy work is absolutely on par for a company that underbids government contracts and refuses to pay their subcontractors until the government agency withholds final payments and the subcontractor commits to legal action.
