If I were to order them again, I'd pay for some extra add-ons, like the beef and the guac. - 1lb Classic Wings ($19) - we chose Lemon Pepper Dusted and it was also just good. If I were to return, I'd order the wings with something saucy rather than a dry rub. I didnt taste too much lemon pepper flavour. Service: - Our server was very friendly and attentive - Food came out relatively quickly Ambience - typical pub style environment - decent amount of TVs showing sports - wasn't too noisy Overall, a decent bar/pub serving typical pub food with some UK flair.

When we arrived around 6:45, there were still plenty of tables to pick. The staff let us choose wherever we wanted to sit. We decided to sit at a table right in front of the big screen to watch the game. Despite it being a busy night and the tables were full, service was still really good. The servers were really nice and attentive, and we received our drinks and food fast. We ordered: - BBQ Chicken Nachos ($19.50) 9/10. Big portion, chips were crispy, sauces were good. - Steak Frites ($18.00) 8/10. Fries were crispy. Steak was decent Overall, we wish we knew about this place sooner! We love the pub vibes here, service was great, prices are good, food was good, atmosphere was great. They even have a pool table in the back. Highly recommend coming here to watch a game on the big screen.

It was crispy on the outside & the cauliflower was soft on the inside. Hubby ordered the Baton Rouge burger & I ordered the gnocchi with tomato sauce & no cheese. Hubby's burger he said was good & the fries were also good. I sampled one of his french fries. LOL. The gnocchi with mushrooms was yummy. The sauce was rich & flavourful but not overly salty. I couldn't finish it all so I packed the rest to take home. Service: We had a lovely lady as our wait staff & she took our orders. I requested the gnocchi with no cheese & with tomato sauce since I can't have dairy. They easily accommodated my allergy. Some places aren't great with modifying for food allergies. So I was surprised at how easy it was. The food came out pretty quickly which was also nice. Ambiance: It's a nice place. There are lots of group tables sized for 8 people with banquette seating & wooden chairs. The colours are cherry woods & red upholstery. Washrooms are on the same floor as the dining room. There is also a bar on one side of the restaurant. Not sure when I'll be back in the area, but this place is a solid restaurant option. At lunch time the office workers nearby came in around 12.15pmish. I'd come back again if I'm in the area.

The tower was beautifully presented and what I love most about the tower is their pancakes. Truly fluffy and light with whipped cream on top of it. Overall, service was efficient and attentive, often checked on and refilling water. On top of that, the restaurant has great decor and parking is provided in the back of the restaurant. Its considered on a slightly higher end for brunch ($20-30 range), but it was truly an amazing experience. They also have daily promos so worth checking out for dinner and late night deals.

This time, I ordered something more basic and is on every pub menu which is bangers & mash. I really enjoyed this dish! It came with 3 sausages, mash potatoes with gravy, baked beans and fried onions. The reason for my 2-stars is due to the server who took away my unfinished meal (planned to take it away and eat it for dinner or breakfast the next day) AND my half drank ginger ale. He first got rid of my meal without asking if I was finished then later, he came back and did the same thing with my drink. I was turned to the side talking to a friend so did not notice him approach and do this. A well run restaurant should know that you never take away someone's meal without asking them if they are finished with it first. It was really disappointing as I could of finished it while there but really want to take it home so I didn't have to worry about making a meal or spending money on another meal.

Well, if you're stuck waiting for a Viva bus, and you want a beer, and there's nothing else…read morearound...anyway, that's why I went in. The place is gorgeous on the outside and inside. I imagine the patio must be great in the summer. Yonge Street is close by, but Canadians become immune to carbon monoxide is summer because we throng to any outoor space, and rhe patio is further back than many downtown Toronto patios. The vibe inside is "moneyed gastropub". Glass and wood and UK heritage. The menu is huge, so a bit of a red lag, and more like a chain pub than a gastropub. FIghting off my PTSD from the last time I ordered a non-deep fried fish from a pub, I ordered the salmon with a side of mashed potatoes. The server seemed a bit nervous, so I ran down my mental checklist. Shaved in the morning? Check. Showered? Check. Wearing clothes? Check. However, she was efficient, so no real complaints. The salmon arrived with a surprisingly nice presentation. It didn't smell like fish, so my PTSD subsided. It was a bit bland at the start, but as I got further in, the seasoning on top were quite pleasent. The peppers underneath were from frozen, and the mashed potatoes were from flakes, but it wasn't bad. Prices were at the level of any GTA gastropub. I imiagine this place is really popular with the locals, especially in summer. I can't say it's a destination, though, as there are so many pubs with the same design choices and vibe to choose from, and some have limited menus to focus on what the chef does best. But, if you're stuck at that bus stop and want a beer, I'd recommend it!
