I ate here for the first time tonight after seeing a few good reviews online and it was as good as I had hoped! My family got the jalapeño poppers and an order of wings with crazy sauce to start. Both were excellent! The crazy sauce is their own mix of buffalo and bbq sauce, and it was tasty with a nice little kick. The poppers were super creamy, and I only wished they had some kind of sauce to dip them in, but it wasn't absolutely necessary because they tasted great on their own. Then, we got regular (swai) fish and chips, the halibut fish and chips, and grilled fish tacos for our meals. My mom said the fish tacos were good, but they looked a little on the small side to me. The two fish and chips were both very generous portions, though, and both were extremely good! They came with half a grilled lemon on the side, which I thought was a nice touch. We also got an order of coleslaw to share, which I thought was very good, and I'm not a big fan of coleslaw normally. It was open and clean, the owner was super friendly and it was pretty quiet on a weekday night, so we basically had the place to ourselves. On our way to BWW, my wife found this restaurant on Yelp and we decided to try it. Glad we did, the flavors were different than the ordinary wing sauces, they paid respect to traditional flavors but had their own spin to them, they were delicious. Bone in wings were sauced and still crunchy which is always a plus. Portions were big and Mike, the owner, was welcoming and great to chat with. Went in after seeing the instagram post of the much needed fish and chips/wings. This place did not disappoint, it surpassed my expectations. The fish and chips was perfectly crispy and juicy. I tried 5 different wings and the honey mustard by far was the best and the shrimp ceviche was on point. Literally everything on the menu was fire. Also met one of the owners who was really nice and gave us a sample of another sauce they were working on. Really good staff snd service. I was never a fish and chips guy until I had Fins 'N Wings. The best thing about this establishment and what makes it different is the batter and the fish is always cooked to perfection where it flakes off with every bite. The batter is a crispy fluffy and airy bite. The owners are fishermen so they definitely know all about good fish. I brought my girlfriend who wretches at the sight of seaweed so seafood is a no go and she LOVES this place. (Definitely bought me brownie points!) Not to mention they are extremely nice and welcoming people. They definitely love putting a smile on peoples faces with food. Very picky sick pregnant lady here. This was the best fish and chips I've had in a while! Even the lemon that it was served with was perfect and juicy and plenty! Also this was take out! What!? My wife had the fish and chips (freshly caught, not frozen) and I had their shrimp tacos on flour tortillas. they were both delicious and the pineapple habanero sauce was fantastic and the cilantro sauce was delicious. The facility is immaculate. One of the owners was present and he introduced himself plus he was interested in our comments. We will return repeatedly as long as the food quality does not change. Today I was in orange for work and I was craving some seafood so I went on yelp and found this place. This place is brand new and the fish n chips were 10 out of 10. The tartar sauce was amazing. I also got the wings. Their sauces are so good. I loved it. The fish tacos were amazing. The server told me that all the fish are freshly caught from the owners. You have to come to this place. We ordered the buffalo wings standard buffalo style. They came so saturated in sauce that they were soggy with red pepper flakes. Even after removing the wings from the sauce, they were still soggy and way too hot. The fish ceviche was warm and seemed undercooked. Hope we don't get sick from it. The fish and chips were OK except the breading got soggy because they put it in a container with a tight lid on it. So I think the best thing in the meal, were the french fries that came with the fish and chips, although those were greasy as well... Guess we're going back to Flame broiler next-door. read more
