I have been a patient of Dr. Steven Broderick for years, and I feel compelled to recognize the…read moreextraordinary level of care he provides. Dr. Broderick is one of the few physicians at the Logan Square office, and despite what appears to be an overwhelming workload, he consistently treats every patient with kindness, patience, professionalism, and genuine compassion. He sees a tremendous number of patients each day, responds to patient portal messages promptly, conducts telehealth appointments well into the evening, and still manages to make each patient feel heard and valued. What impresses me most is not just his intelligence and medical knowledge, but his work ethic. In today's healthcare environment, it is rare to find a physician who remains so accessible to his patients. Questions are answered quickly, concerns are addressed thoughtfully, and he never makes you feel like you are just another appointment on his schedule. I honestly do not know how he accomplishes everything he does in a single day. The amount of responsibility he carries is remarkable, yet he continues to show up with a positive attitude and an unwavering commitment to his patients. My only concern is that physicians like Dr. Broderick are becoming increasingly rare, and I hope the leadership at Innovative Care recognizes the value he brings to the practice. Exceptional doctors are not easy to find, and his dedication, expertise, and compassion deserve recognition and support. Thank you, Dr. Broderick, for the countless hours you invest in your patients and for the care you provide to this community. You have made a difference in many lives, including my family's, and mine. You are truly one of a kind.

I have been a patient with Dr. Lindeman for 12 years and I could not be happier with his service…read more He is pleasant and always answers my questions. I go to his office once a year for an annual physical and when I am very ill. He has a smaller practice that allows us to have more time with him, not just a nurse practitioner. He also uses an online portal to schedule visits (even on the same day). One of my favorite things about his practice is the ability to be able to contact him (with serious questions) without having to go into his office. He offers his cellphone number and will actually answer and/or call right back. Once I was out of town and needed a referral for an out of network hospital visit; he gave the referral over the phone and even gave me necessary paperwork when my insurance tried to bill me for being 'out of network'. The office is always clean and I appreciate that he is not pill happy. In my experience with Dr. Lindeman, I would say that he does not overprescribe medications. Sometimes my husband and I will joke that the opioid crisis would be solved if we all had to go to Dr. Lindelmen for our prescriptions. In 12 years, he has only prescribed me with 2 or 3 different medications when I really needed them. And once, after a severe allergy to a penicillin (penicillin was prescribed by a dentist), he helped me get back to my normal self by prescribing only the medication that I needed. I definitely recommend Dr. Lindeman because he is a no-nonsense family doctor with a small practice and time for his patients.

SUMMARY: If you're looking for a Primary Care Physician in Chicago, you really can't do better than…read moreDr. Reyes. TLDR: Yelp says that 5 stars means, "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" and in this case, I could not agree more. The office itself is great. The staff are nice and seem pretty organized, and I book my appointments online without issue. I am also usually able to get a spot within a reasonable period of time (not 6-8 weeks out like so many Chicago doctors). However, the real reason for the 5th star is Dr. Reyes. Dr. Reyes has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever seen. She actually takes the time to listen to your symptoms, concerns, and history. Dr. Reyes also seems to genuinely care about my health and well-being as much as I do, acting sympathetic toward even seemingly minor complaints. Miraculously, she is able to give this much attention to her patients and STILL her office runs on time. I don't know how she does it--I've never waited more than 5 minutes for an appointment. I first saw Dr. Reyes in January 2014 when she was with the Advocate group. I was disappointed when I called later for another appointment and they told me she was no longer there. The staff had no information on where she was practicing or how to contact. I was forced to try other PCPs, and it was only when I needed a check-up in 2017 that I finally found Dr. Reyes again. I was thrilled and relieved (and clearly, my positive memories of her held up). If there were ever a doctor worth tracking down, it's Maria Reyes!

Last year I took a leave from work and was told I was need to find a primary care physician to fill…read moreout my paperwork. I called the Olivo Medical Wellness Center and confirmed that Dr Olivo does and would be able to fill out my forms. The morning of my appointment, I called to confirm that my forms had been received by the clinic. At my appointment, Dr Olivo told me none had arrived. I informed her that I had confirmed the forms had arrived. She assured me that there would be no issues with my forms being submitted to the Hartford. After my blood had been drawn and medication prescribed, I was told I should register for a physical. I wanted to confirm that nothing would be out of pocket as I was not sure how long the leave would last. The following week I was informed at my physical that my forms had been submitted and not to worry about it. I did have confusion regarding having my blood drawn again and wanting to make sure it was covered by my insurance since they did it the week previously. They assured me that everything was covered and that my forms were complete. After two months I found that my forms had not been completed. I reached out to the office and they told me they would leave my message with Dr Olivo. After an additional two follow ups, I was told by Dr Olivo that she was not comfortable filling out my forms. My leave paperwork had expired. I lost the pay that I would have received if my forms had been completed by a competent doctor. Had they informed me originally that they were not comfortable filling out my forms originally, I would have had time to find another doctor or psychologist. Telling me that my forms were complete was a lie. In addition, they charged me twice for calling and requesting that my forms be submitted to the Hartford. Meaning, I was charged twice by the office for Dr Olivo to say no, I will not fill out these forms. I was also charged for the physical. All three charges I will contest through Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Additionally I will be reporting this to any medical board, better business bureau, and any other resource for matters like this. How can doctor prescribe medication and then lie about submitting paperwork for a patient? Why lie and then charge a patient for a service that was not completed. I would be really careful about this location. I do believe they would take advantage of migrants. English isn't my first language and I could say they make you sign the waiver that says you pay all expenses, but intentionally running up a bill is shameful. AVOID THIS LOCATION.
