The views on the patio (alfresco terrace) are as epic as it gets with views of the breathtaking mountains everywhere you look. It's been named the best patio in Canada for years and you will see why when you walk out of the beautiful Rundle Bar onto the patio. The menu is made up of classics and signature creations. I had the Ember which is an old fashioned variation made up of high quality spirits and an infused maple syrup it was one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. The inside ambiance is typical pub with tv's and typical pub décor. There is a long bar area. Most of the seating seemed to be high top tables and chairs. I find this very uncomfortable as my legs are short and I'm a senior. When we were seated outside after a sort wait it was lovely. The bench seats and table were good and they had umbrellas. Tables were a nice distance apart and overlooking the main street but the restaurant is set back a bit from the main road so traffic noise wasn't an issue. For dinner my husband wanted a side of pork belly bits to start. They were really tasty. We shared a bottle of wine with our dinner. I ordered the fried chicken with pork belly taters and my husband had ginger beef fried rice. The fried chicken is very similar to Korean chicken. We enjoyed our meals immensely. The servings are generous. I had the pork belly taters for the side with my meal and it was good. It was a lovely evening, with good service and good food served on a nice patio. Most enjoyable.
