Also--we had damage to the concrete about the size of a football. Miguel came out to our house, repaired the rather large divot of concrete. After letting the divot dry and cure--Miguel was back to power washing the concrete. Miguel returned later that day to seal the concrete with a concrete sealant that left a beautiful sheen on the surface. Miguel did a beautiful job! Miguel was great to work with! I had lived with new marble top installed by previous homeowner in my kitchen since I moved in 8 years ago. But.. the pattern was very busy, never had a nice sheen, and when I placed a clear drinking glass on it, you easily missed it? (You can't miss it in one of the pictures below.) First visit was to their Batavia facility to take home samples and discuss approximate costs with a very knowledgeable and personable staff. Second visit was to my home to measure. Third was at their site with templates of my layout on the actual slab so I could see the grain and seam alignment as it would appear in finished countertop. This was fantastic because as much as I loved the pattern I had selected, I did not like the way it would appear completed. With NO pressure at all, I was encouraged to choose from similar patterns on their many other slabs of quartz so I could get the look I wanted. Templates were placed on another choice and the veins looked like they would match close at the seam. Three professionals arrived promptly at 8am and departed at 11am (perfectly as promised) and the finished job was more than I ever imagined. I had to really search for the seam but could only feel it as it is perfect... can you find it in the picture? (HINT: blue post-its align on seam in second image.)

Unfortunately, within a few months, several quality issues began to appear. Screws started popping out, deck boards began lifting, and some of the boards and railing showed signs of deterioration. I sent multiple texts and emails, including photos documenting the problems. To their credit, they responded to one text and sent someone out to secure a completely loose floorboard that, surprisingly, had never been screwed down. However, after that visit, my additional attempts to contact them went unanswered. I even asked that they simply let me know if they had no intention of addressing the problems, but I did not receive the courtesy of a response. At this point, it appears I will need to hire another company to repair their work. Chuck Kurth, one of the owners of Two Brothers Residential, Maintenance and Service Corporation, presented himself as knowledgeable and reputable before I hired the company, which made this experience especially disappointing. A contractor's reputation is built not only on the initial job but also on standing behind their work. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. As a result, they will not be receiving any future business from me, and I would not recommend them to others in my HOA.
