Popped in for a quick bite, then a treat at Mr. Softee, just down the street before hitting the outlets. I knew Hubs would be keen on just a plain hot dog, which he ordered and enjoyed, but said the bread - THE FRESH BAKED BREAD! - is what really elevated it. He wants to return and get a sandwich on THAT BREAD! lol I hadn't seen any photos of salads on Yelp, but let me clarify they are fresh, delicious, yummy, HUUUUGe and fairly priced! Service does, indeed, seem to be handled by a Mama and a Nona. Be patient, speak clearly. I think I talk really fast when I order, so I got a side of oil & a side of vinegar when I had requested ranch dressing. No biggie, just took it back in and they got me the ranch. Inside has A table and 2 chairs, but was a bit warm, so we took advantage of the patio seating with lots of shade, plenty of room and a fresh sea breeze. Perfect for people watching as well! I know deviled eggs are a labor of love so I do appreciate them having these on their menu. Lombardos was a solid 4/5 in my book as the sandwich was delicious and I'd definitely come back for that macaroni salad. I need to check them out in person next time.
