Within three days, Oggi and his crew were at our home, showing us different rugs. Oggi has an incredible eye for what works well. He is also very good at knowing what a potential client likes. We came in for two rugs and ended up with four rugs. The rugs make our home feel like a home. They're beautiful. Living with them feels like living in fine contemporary art. The rugs are hand loomed silk and wool. They're vegetable dyed, too. The quality is excellent. You can see and feel the difference from rugs we looked at from other name brand places like ABC, Arhaus, Loomy, or West Elm. Five stars all around - I highly recommend Istanbul Rugs.

Even though…read moreI've never been to the store in person (I live on the opposite side of the country), the blog and the info posted on each rug reassured me that I would be dealing with someone knowledgeable about their industry and transparent in their business practices. (Also, it's fun when someone shares their passion about a topic!) I was delighted, then, when I came across a runner that exactly fit a tricky spot in our entryway. Took the plunge and ordered it with fingers crossed. Chris sent it off promptly and even sent me a note (apart from the shipping notification) to tell me to expect it. It showed up right on time - well-protected from weather, but with no unnecessary packaging. I unrolled it and it laid flat immediately - no odd smells, no shedding, just a lovely bright presence in our home. It looks just like the photos and I am delighted with my purchase. Saving up my pennies now for another Nomad rug in future, I hope!

Unfortunately, mold had begun growing on the surface of the fibers in an area where a couch had been sitting, so we knew the rug needed professional cleaning. From the start, communication with Rug Masters was excellent. I received a very competitive price quote, responses were prompt, and the turnaround time worked well for us. Jay arrived on June 2nd, right on schedule, to pick up the wool rug. After inspecting it, he discovered moth damage, which increased the cost for cleaning and restoration of the 9' x 12' rug from $480 to $600. Even with the additional repairs, his quote was still the best among the companies I contacted, and it included both pickup and delivery. The rug was returned to us on June 27th, and we were extremely impressed and satisfied with the results. The colors were vibrant, the mold spots and spores were completely gone, and the moth-damaged areas had been expertly repaired. The rug looked immaculate and beautifully restored. We are very pleased with both the quality of the work and the customer service. We would not hesitate to use this company again and highly recommend them!

I had moved to my new apartment and was in need of a living room rug. Unfortunately, shopping for one online had been a nightmare. The synthetic rugs I ordered would arrive smelling of strong chemicals, and/or be greasy with whatever substance they sprayed on it. The natural rugs I ordered online, would be too scratchy and also odd smelling, the fibers too long and easily caught by my cat's claws. What I really needed, was to be able to see and touch the rugs in person. Therefore, I was so grateful to having come across Aladdin Rugs & Mattresses. I knew immediately that I would be walking away with a rug that day. Albert was extremely kind, patient, and professional in answering all my questions and allowing me to examine the rugs in different lightening, all without any pressure to purchase. It was an exemplary level of customer service I felt has been forgotten by so many other businesses, but was alive and well here. The rugs were extremely affordable and the quality of the rugs were fantastic. In the end, they helped wrap up my rug nicely for me to take on the bus to my new apartment. I've now had the rug for awhile and it beautifies my 1900s apartment space. If I only had more rooms to require rugs, I would absolutely come back again!!
