If you are looking for a salon that truly cares about their clients, this is it. And they know hair and in particular take the time to know and understand their clients likes, needs and hair. A family member who is a long term client here recently underwent chemo resulting in some hair loss and hair thinning. She remains vulnerable to infection so an ordinary trip to the salon was out of the question. Her stylist first swung by her home and dropped off a catalog with wig options and then arranged to assess and cut her hair in a private room at the salon. Let's talk about that...hair loss for females is particularly trying and emotional. Her stylist was compassionate and comforting and worked meticulously to preserve her remaining hair while crafting a style that would be consistent with her taste and would require no hair drying while covering thinnest. She allowed family members into her small work space to provide emotional support while providing a steady stream of hair advice and encouragement. The style was cute and made the most of what she had. This kind hearted soul assured her that if she had more loss and needed it shorter, she could come back the next day or whenever. First of all, I really struggled with this review because I have been here once before with Shannon, who a lot of my friends use and I was happy. I would have used Shannon again, but our schedules were too difficult to mesh. So I booked an appt with a short haired receptionist one week with any stylisThe following week and morning of my appt the hairstylist, Leann, not only showed up late, but when she came in she was informed by the long haired receptionist that a haircut was booked in between her appt. Leann got upset and said,"Oh I wish you wouldn't have did that. I booked a cut and color with (she said the name but I forgot) for a cut and color. She called me." I was thinking yikes I hope this is not the person cutting my hair. Please do not be the person cutting my hair. Please no please no please no. Leann goes in the back drops bag and of coarse calls my name. I didn't want her because she's triple booked and frazzled and overwhelmed so that made me want to reschedule, BUT if I cancel then I get charged a fee. I follow her back and she tells me I'm there for a cut. I tell her yes and low lights/high lights to connect my roots to the blonde so they look blended. She asked me what I meant and I told her, "I have no idea what low lights and high lights are. Shannon (as I pointed to Shannon) recommended I do them." Now at this point you'd think she would confer with Shannon, but apparently not. She goes to back and comes out with a brown color and sees my face questioning what she's doing and as she slops it on my hair in a huge area with no rhyme or reason she explains how she'll start with this then go back in with another color. I'm thinking I'm no hair expert, but I know she's screwing up. She then puts me in a chair elsewhere while she does the customer she booked. BTW, shouldn't ALL bookings go thru the shop so over booking like this doesn't happen????? Let the receptionist do her job :-). She then has another girl take me to wash my hair and as we walk by Leann tells the young lady NOT to put conditioner in my hair. *When I first sat in Leann's chair I warned her that I have thick, but very fine hair and when you finish combing a section and move to the next that the previous section tangles again. It's did it since birth.* with that knowledge and being a hair expert you must put conditioner in my hair. So, we go back to Leann and she pulls the towel off my head and immediately my eyes well up with tears and I get flush. Leann sees this and ignores it for a little while then says,"I know it's a shocker, but you'll get use to it." No Leann, I will not, baby caca green with blonde spots all over is not acceptable, especially since I did NIT ask for color!!!!!!! She also claimed my hair was "mushy" so she cannot do the other color. You were in a hurry and did NOT take time to do my hair as requested and screwed it up!!!!! Shame on you and your unprofessionalism. After it being awkwardly quiet for a good 5 minutes I start realizing she has to cut my hair and is now frazzled by my tears and I have to calm her down so she does NOT screw up my hair cut so I tell her it's not her I'm crying over and I'll be fine. Well.....it did NOT work!!!!!! She did the shittiest haircut I've ever had in my entire life!!!! After she made rude comments about Shannon cutting my layers, who I think did a good job. My hair is uneven all the way around. One side is super choppy like a kid cut it and the other side is not chopped, layered, or anything. When I was at the receptionist desk I couldn't believe she was charging me for this horrible screw up she did! My being weak, I paid with tears in my eyes. I wouldn't even look at the receptionist because I didn't want the waterfalls to flow. My friends, hubby, and coworkers are all horrified with my hair and tell me to call the manager. Beatrice actually said if I didn't she will and knowing this little hot box woman, she would and I didn't want that so I called after a couple of days of working up the courage. I told the manager all of this and she scheduled me to have it fixed by Shannon a week later even though I told her I did NOT want to return to the business....the next day I called and canceled the "fix it" appt. I never heard back or got a refund in the mail, which would have been the right thing to do. Weeks later my ugly hair is finally able to get fixed somewhere else. read more

I have no idea what Nanette's problem was. My wife started going to her 14 years ago on a weekly basis on the recommendation of a good friend. NEVER has she had a problem. Most of our family has been to her, NEVER a problem. Because of the complete satisfaction of family I started going to Leanne 5 or 6 years ago when my barber retired. Now at 70+ I not only know how I like my hair done, and I'm very picky. NEVER have I had a problem. Yes once in a while we arrive before Leanne does because we sometimes arrive 15-20 minutes early and we are here first customer of the day so when she arrives on time we are sometimes there ahead of time. So again with our many years of experience with Leanne we have no idea of Nanette's problem or complaint. Will we continue going to Leanne? Definately! read more

They got me in right away which was super convenient! However after leaving the salon my hair was not looking the best. The left side was cut about TWO inches shorter than the right side...not a couple centimeters but TWO INCHES. I'm not sure how someone could have messed up that badly or let a client leave the salon with their hair looking like that. I will never go back and do not recommend this salon unless you want to go to another salon to get your hair fixed... no one has the time or money for that. read more

I received a facial there....in the smallest room available apparently. There was barely enough room for both of us to move around. This room was also located directly across from the hair cutting floor where I could hear everything the stylist was talking about like who she was going to have in her wedding. The tech used latex gloves (which after emailing them to tell them about my experience) was told at that point why she did. Not before hand. And I'm pretty sure she used a nail brush to scrub my face. Then when she needed to get the hot towels she had to lean over the bed, and me, to get the towels. How awkward. The movements she used were half hazard and slappy and left no room for relaxation. And the massage at the end left little to be desired, and she used oil on my face. I don't care what kind of oil it is, I don't want it on my face even if it's supposedly totally fine to use. Yea I broke out the next day. Great. Overall it was a horrible facial that I paid $60 for and wish I had NEVER gotten!! Never ever will be going back! read more

I just had a pedicure there a week ago. One of the best pedicures I have had. I had a choice of scents to use, and I chose lavender. It was a very relaxing experience. Jen kept me soaking to soften my feet rather than rushing me out of there. She used something other than the cheese grater on my feet. (I hate that thing that some salons use) ...I didn't think I had too many callouses on my feet, but when I left my feet were silky smooth and they still feel great! The polish is perfect. I have been a client of LeAnn for over four years. In June, LeAnn gave me a spiral perm that to this day I say to my friends, "I'm loving this perm!"... it's AWESOME! Whenever I show LeAnn a picture of what I'd like, she's always honest with me and let's me know if my hair's texture will work with the style- I trust LeAnn's expertise and advice when it comes to my hair care. She's always refreshingly friendly, polite, kind, navigates the salon with a professional candor, and has never been late. She's never been rude or insensitive- I honestly DO NOT think that LeAnn has these two characteristics (rude and insensitive) in her DNA- I just don't see it going down like that. On one- only one- occasion, a new receptionist did not book enough time for her to give me highlights. LeAnn caught this, I was called and asked to come in earlier, and so I did- these things happen and it was easily corrected. I'm very proud to call LeAnn "my hairdresser" and she'll remain "my hairdresser" as long as I'm living in Northeast Ohio!! And so, I'm on board with Jon S. too!!! read more
