Stacy has been doing my hair for years and it's as if she takes what I want to do right out of my head. She'll take time to talk me through her plan and my options. Every step from highlights to wash to styling is comfortable. She'll make an extra effort to ask her clients if they see anything they want to change, or if explain how to recreate a look, or walk through the products needed. They also have refreshments and one time one of the employees added me to their breakfast order because they were ordering it to be delivered soon. It really feels like a tight-knit salon where everybody cares about each other. They do eyelash extensions here. I met the woman that does it. She was friendly and informational. They do painted nails and extensions. Robin does body waxing. The employees were professional and friendly. I wish I could say that my experience continued in that direction but it did not. I choose to get dip powder on my hands and gel on my feet. The color I picked for my hands (as you'll see in my pictures) has a special sheen to it. Unicorn dust I believe it is called. Well, unknown to me until I got my bill at the end of my services to have this done it was an extra $20. I totally understand certain "extras" need an up charge for the extra time and effort it takes to do. However, as this was the first time I was getting a color like this I was unaware it was anything extra. If I had been told ahead of time I would have picked another color. Then to make matters worse my pedicure was less than what I expected & paid for. I choose the middle of the road option ($50) and as I stated before had gel polish applied. I had asked to have my nails trimmed short, which didn't happen. I'm aware it was my fault for not speaking up unfortunately I didn't notice until it was too late. Now it is just over 2 weeks later (Friday June 3rd). I have 2 cracked nails, the $20 extra I paid for is coming off already, and 3 of my toes are completely void of gel polish. They didn't chip at all. Just fell right off. This is not my first time having my nails done. I've been able to go weeks at a time with no damage when using other salons. My friend that came with me has had similar problems as well. Sadly, given the cost and the result I will not be returning to this salon. You can see my pictures as proof of the situation. I hope others have a better experience than I did.

Years ago, I had a superior cut at the Dino Palmieri Strongsville Salon, so thought I would try Summit Mall.. They could fit me in on my schedule, so that was a great start! The Receptionist even took the time to answer all my questions the week beforehand. Everyone at the Salon was extremely nice, and welcoming. Carli took the time to truly understand my hair and what I wanted. She was friendly, engaging and knew how to work with my hair. I am a fading redhead with thick wavy hair and that means the highlights have to be just right. It's no easy task. She did an excellent job!!! The results were perfect! The costs were a little higher than some, but it was worth it to be there on a Sunday and have that great Customer Service experience. And they know…read morehair and in particular take the time to know and understand their clients likes, needs and hair. A family member who is a long term client here recently underwent chemo resulting in some hair loss and hair thinning. She remains vulnerable to infection so an ordinary trip to the salon was out of the question. Her stylist first swung by her home and dropped off a catalog with wig options and then arranged to assess and cut her hair in a private room at the salon. Let's talk about that...hair loss for females is particularly trying and emotional. Her stylist was compassionate and comforting and worked meticulously to preserve her remaining hair while crafting a style that would be consistent with her taste and would require no hair drying while covering thinnest. She allowed family members into her small work space to provide emotional support while providing a steady stream of hair advice and encouragement. The style was cute and made the most of what she had. This kind hearted soul assured her that if she had more loss and needed it shorter, she could come back the next day or whenever. I am floored by this level of caring and compassion.
