It definitely hits the spot when you feel like a delicious cooked meal. I am not a huge fan of take away or fast foods, but this is different and I prefer eating in. Being a small place, their service has always been quick and efficient and not usually a long wait (unless it is a busy lunch rush) they are always friendly. The place is always neat and tidy when sitting instore and plates/trays are tidied up as soon as they can between serving customers. I definitely recommend Wok n Noodle at Gepps Cross and love their Caramelised Pork Belly dish on the menu in store.

I had the sautéed beef, which turned out to be a semi-soup, but less broth than the actual soups. The meat was hot and very flavoursome, with lemongrass as a prominent flavor. It came with cold salad in the bowl, and quite a large bowl for $9, and the salad was dressed with an Asian flavored dressing. There was a large quantity of vermicelli at the bottom of the bowl. The meal had a good balance of sweet, sour, salty and spicy. The fish sauce was used in the perfect quantity, as too much can be overpowering. There were various condiments and some lemon wedges that customers could add to their dishes. It was a filling meal without being at all heavy. Delicious! I will definitely be back.

It's a great find at Mawson Lakes hub, quite busy down lunch hours as there aren't many seats available, and probably could 20 seats inside and 8 seats outside. Clean and tidy, great customer service, authentic Malaysian food here. If you love spicy and hot Asian food then definitely try this place. Good serving size, most items are under $15 dollars. They even sell Mango pudding and sweet crepes here. Thumbs up!

I immediately remembered Lily T's review so we went in. I think we just discovered a new favorite Asian eat out. It's a small simple place but the taste of their food is spot on to my liking. Their menu has pictures of all their dishes so you can get an idea what it looks like and how delicious it appears. We bought 3 meals (special fried rice, bbq pork and egg with rice and beef brisket noodles). I even wanted to try their desserts but thought I'm just being eye-hungry so I stopped myself haha. I wont be too particular with the taste because all I can say is that they are ALL consistently delicious and we will DEFINITELY be coming back again especially to try their desserts. Most of their meals are in the 7.5 to 9.5 aud range but the servings are generous! I am so happy that this place is very close to our house. I highly recommend everyone to come and visit this place. I really think they're worth a shot!

The cashier was helpful and friendly, explaining the different dishes. I ordered Chicken Laksa and the Pork Fried Rice- and a BEER! Most of these types of places don't have beer, but Honki Tonki does! I sat down, poured my beer, and within minutes, my soup arrived- piping hot and oh so good! The broth was perfect! I love Laksa, and it's hard to find in the US. My fried rice arrived- and, my god, this was some of the best fried rice I have ever had! So tasty, and such a great mix of ingredients. Again, it's not a fancy place, but the food is so good, so much so that I came here on my last night in Adelaide! Plus, it's open until 10 PM!

An amazing array of top quality, affordable lunch options with a bunch of banging sides to boot. Bonus points for the beautiful bounty of bevvies on offer too. Alliteration aside, I had a great lunch - bbq pork dry noodles with a side of pork dumplings. The dry noodles come laiden with a sprinkle of uber tasty minced pork. The quality of the food is fairly high - around the table we had, inter alia, an array of quail eggs, laksa and teriyaki chicken. Everybody seemed happy and well fed. The lovely folks at HT also stock their own line of delicious chilli oil at $7 a jar. Bargains galore! In fact, the true satisfaction test came 20 minutes after I walked out and realised I was feeling really full. A nice feeling when you drop $15 on a meal for lunch. Happy days. I popped the top on a lovely hills dry cider so my bill was bigger ($9 for a three oaks Adel hills cider) than a regular work lunch but today just happened to be one of those "treat yoself" sort of days. Glad I did. Honki Tonki. Get amongst it.

When I can't be bothered preparing a home-made meal or it's a little too late to go grocery…read moreshopping, Noodle Box is usually the first place on my list of quick meals to go. I'd still consider it "junk food", but there's no doubt that it's a whole lot healthier than any other option for take-away in the vicinity. I've tried a few of their meals, but the thing that keeps me going back is the Nasi Goreng. It's simple, filling and delicious, and I haven't come across too many places that make one as good as Noodle Box does. Though the shop's menu is terribly similar to Wok In A Box's, their flavours are far superior; and I haven't been back to the aforementioned chain since discovering Noodle Box. As for authenticity, you probably won't enjoy it if you're a lover of true, authentic Asian cuisine. For example, I know of a few Singaporeans that grew up eating stuff like Char Kway Teow and Nasi Goreng from hawker centres their whole lives - and they couldn't stand the Noodle Box versions of these dishes. I personally think Noodle Box is great - for generous servings that can be bought with pocket change, you can't really fault it. Sure, it might not be up to the standard of places in China Town, but it beats greasy hamburgers any day of the week.

I absolutely love the concept, and what ends up being served to me is usually awful, and I swear that I'll never order anything here again. Inevitably, I'll forget my disappointment and try again. And the same result will occur. Isn't that the definition of insanity? To do the same thing over and over and expect a different result? The service is excellent, and the food, while not particularly tasty, will fill you up for not a hell of a lot of money. I just wish that the stuff I ordered tasted like I would expect.
