Half consignment shop, half owner-found items, the prices in here are kind of hit and miss between that's a smoking deal and "they want how much?". It only took me twenty paces to find the perfect dining room table which I was looking for. And here I had planned on spending the entire day looking through stores to find one. The price was great and the condition of the table was really good. Clearly they don't let anybody just drop random pieces of shoddy furniture into their store. Is it possible to give a zero star ? The GOOD. And the only good. They came twice with big trucks and took lots of my beloved furniture. The BAD. Don't expect them to give you an invoice on the spot for everything, unless you're smarter than I was. The four MidCentury chairs that were my Grandma's are gone for good. Antique oak mirror? Gone. I let them load them up with empty promises and no paperwork. Stupid? Yep! But I'll echo the sentiment of the last few reviews, even when they tell you where they will price an item, that price doesn't matter. Bad business and unapologetic about it. Suzanne sold me a set of China with "no flaws" but the platter had a 1" chip in it. She denied it, blamed it on shipping, but I have proof that it was present before they packaged the set. She wouldn't give a refund for the platter, even when I offered to split the difference of replacing it. read more

We decided to use them for consignment of large Modular Sofa. She split it up into a smaller love seat and a sectional. She sent me a contract that spelled out everything that they would do ie: send statements monthly to show what had sold ect. That was supposed to come the beginning of the month after it sold, then payment at the end of the following month after that. I never received a single statement showing what had sold and didn't receive payment as contract states. The only time I got statements was when I went into the store because my attempts to contact went unanswered. The other issue is she priced the sectional for $1800.00 and the loveseat for $500. She sold the loveseat for half and then said she sold the sectional for $500.00 a $1300 reduction from what she priced after only having it 3 months. Would never take anything back here and would not recommend anyone. read more

A great place to meander, clean, easy go walk and a few good prices can still be found. For the most part though, their stuff is pretty pricey but set up in interesting displays. The folks that work there are for the most part, friendly and helpful. read more

It's really really expensive in here. The good news is they have a really, really, really nice things. You're going to spend a bit but you're going to get something for it usually. On the other hand, I saw things that are never as expensive as they have them labeled. A highway department smudge pot is not worth $100. On the other hand some of their furniture was pretty reasonable for the quality. The lady was exceptionally nice. I don't know if they set the prices or what. I contacted Finders Keepers about 4 chairs I wanted to consign. She accepted them and said she would contact me to be picked up the same week. After no contact I received an text from her that made no sense and had nothing to do with our transaction. I texted back asking if this text was a mistake and requesting a response about pick up day. I never heard back. read more

I purchased a HM wall clock that was delivered and they broke it so I spend $700 on the clock and another $600 to have it repaired. They took my grandfather clock on consignment (with as others have indicated had a strange contract agreement) had others listed not as nice for $1200, and said they generally don't do 1/2 price on the big items or clocks (they didn't on the one I bought) but the contract said they would list mine for $850 and I would get 50% of that when it sold. I waited from August- January 2024 - I went into the store and my clock was gone so I asked her about it and the owner said they just delivered it that week to the new owner and that I would hear from her in the next week with the $$ - after NUMEROUS texts, calls and stops by the store - I finally said I wanted either my money or my clock back and I FINALLY - the end of April - got just over $200 - they have some nice items, but DO NOT use them for consignment!! read more

Used furniture stores and antique shops are not really the kind of places I usually look forward to visiting. However, my father in law introduced me to Finders Keepers and I visited with my wife. To my surprise, we had a great time walking around their massive store. They seem to have just about everything you could need including furniture, antiques, and tons of other stuff! We ended up buying a recliner/rocker that exceeded my expectations. I usually do not like to buy used furniture, but my wife really wanted it. Now, I'm glad we have it to rock our baby to sleep before laying him in his crib. There is a ton of things to look through, so if you are like me, you may encounter "store fatigue." However, if you know what kind of things you are looking for or you enjoy secondhand stores, I would recommend finders keepers! read more

Finders Keepers is an easy place to recommend! I recommend the charm and wonder of furniture and accessories of years long past. I recommend the warm and friendly atmosphere of this fine place. Not a "hands off" or "don't touch, wait for an attendant" type of fine antique store you may have expected, this is a place you can freely roam through and touch (gently) or sit on or just stand and admire and explore what was typical of the 1700's, 1800's and 1900's. You might even discover that exact size chair, desk or table you've been trying to find for, forever, but only in the new furniture stores. And likely you'll get a better made, more solid, real wood piece with a bit of added whimsy included, just as I did recently with a delightful small walnut drop leaf dining room table and six 1840's hand carved dining chairs. Something you'll not find even in the priciest new furniture store or outlet. History. Craftsmanship that you're not likely to see (except maybe in another antique store that may be far less congenial). If you're lucky enough to catch the owners in the store (hint: come early when they open at 10:00am), you'll get plenty of information if you're interested, as to in what time period a piece was created or what wood it's made of. The variety is astounding: walnut, mahogany, oak (of course), or maybe an exotic foreign wood that only the very wealthy might have owned in that era. A marble top side table with drawers that lock with a key plus fascinating scrolling metal trim on the contrasting shades of inlaid wood was another find that I couldn't resist buying. And very affordable for me even on my "fixed income" social security. Lol. So that's my recommendation. I'm a newcomer to Springfield and I thought Finders Keepers was easy to get to. My tiny apartment is not too far from there but wherever you are, Fremont Road near the intersection of Republic and Fremont is not hard to find. The store is right next to and behind the Conoco station. Finders Keepers parking lot entrance is on Fremont. Happy exploring, treasure seekers! read more

Springfield has a menagerie of wonderful flea markets and antique shops. This one is one I really enjoy. It is clean, well organized and has a lot of great buys. Fun place to look, great place to buy that item you've been hunting for, or the one you didn't know you wanted. Two stores, plus a "clearance" store, with discounts galore. They are heavy on furniture and china. Other (smaller) items are not quite as prominent here, though they do have a small room dedicated to the treasure hunters. And many items (quilts, lamps, decor) are worked into their room settings. It's a really fun place to shop. read more

I've got to be straightforward here in saying that this is not really my type of store. It is heavy on authentic antique items such as furniture, glassware, dishes, and decor. I am much more of a minimalist myself and not into any specific period(s) when decorating. However, I absolutely must give this place a good rating because it is clean and well kept with a huge range of items. They were having a lot of special sale prices during my visit, which I assume is a regular occurrence but not positive about that based on one visit. Again, I'm not an antiques expert so I can't rate this store on much more than its cleanliness, friendly staff, and my ability to discern "real" old stuff versus overpriced new items. This place definitely seems to offer a wide range of items with overall good quality. There were many surprises (good and bad) when checking price tags here. If you're into antiques or even like the more antique "look" for your home, I would strongly encourage a visit...and even if you are not into those things, it's fun to look around. read more
