If you prefer quantity over quality, this place may be for you with aisle after aisle of home decor…read moreand household goods. But if quality is what you're after, keep looking as the vast majority of inventory here is mass-produced JUNK. If you do decide to make a purchase, especially something in a box, inspect it before taking it home because, chances are, it will be defective in some way or another. Of course they will let you return or exchange it with the receipt, but it's still a hassle. We attempted to purchase a lamp, and after three different boxes were opened, we gave up as they were all badly scratched. The employee helping us was nice, bet even said himself that "unfortunately this is common."

We were VERY disappointed with our furniture purchase through Ellecor. We have worked with other…read morefine furniture stores in Springfield (i.e. James Décor, Wheelers, etc) with very positive experiences. We found two Norwalk chairs were on sale and when I asked why, I was told it was a discontinued pattern. Shame on them for not declaring that damage was the reason they were discounting the chairs. Shame on us for not looking under one of the tags to find a 2 inch tear in the fabric on the shoulder of one chair. When asked about this later (after the purchase) we were told, yes, that is why they were on sale. No remedy was offered. This is NOT the kind of customer service we ever want to experience again. Our experience with other high quality stores is that damage is disclosed, not hidden - hence a damaged item was not purchased. Never again Ellecor. I caution you to be wary of any purchases at Ellecor.

This is an excellent place to shop for anyone who is decorating or redecorating their home. It's also excellent for house warming gifts as well. In addition to wall art I was looking at pretty mirrors, blankets, decorative pillows and throws and scented candles. It made me think of a boutique sized Hobby Lobby. The store is beautiful and we were fortunate that the staff working was so pleasant and friendly. If you haven't shopped here yet it's definitely worth popping in.

I'm from Arizona and we have Kirkland's out there so going into this store I knew what to expect,…read moreand we got exactly that. They have a nice variety of things, from furniture to poster prints and kitchen knickknack's. Much like Arizona it's a total crap shoot when it comes to their pricing though. Some of their stuff is very reasonable, and some of it unexpectedly so. You can find a nice bargain from time to time. They also have quite a few surprises with their pricing on many of their other pieces but not in a good way. As my wife would say; they're awful proud of their stuff. It's not on everything, but what they overprice they REALLY over price. And you just can't tell what's going to be what. So don't fall in love with anything you see until you know for sure what it's going to cost. They also don't always mark prices on their clearance furniture, so you'll have to ask them to check it for you. Try to keep a poker face when they tell you the cost.
