I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had in retail at this Hobby Lobby. I came in needing help and was met with attitude and zero interest from a young male manager -- I didn't catch his name, but you'd know him by how unhelpful and condescending he is. He acted like I was an inconvenience for asking questions and dismissed me completely. Not only was he rude to me, but I also witnessed him speaking down VERY POORLY to other employees in front of customers, which was extremely uncomfortable! There's clearly a lack of professionalism and leadership here -- it was honestly disappointing and made me not want to return. I hope corporate takes note of how management is being handled at this location and the toxic environment this individual is causing. read more

One star to good should have minus stars! I have to say today was the worst visit to this store ever! Glenstone Ave location. I've never been treated with such rudeness and laziness and just plain mean employees! I spent over 2 hours trying to pick out fabrics for a double wedding ring quilt. Besides having a very poorly designed department this was terrible. Two women working there One in particular was very rude, hateful, sloppy , complaining. I don't understand how they can do business with people like this. The pins were out of the fabric she more or less blamed me irritated and wanted to know where the pins were!! How the heck do I know where the pins are. Fabric was measured poorly cut crooked and she was definitely not a nice person. One had a stain i pointed out to her she bluntly and rudely said rolling her eyes ' well do you want it?' I was like I don't believe it will wash out so she was irritated to have to measure and cut the stained piece off. I was never asked not once if I needed help or even had my presence acknowledged in that fabric department . The poor lady behind me was waiting so patiently and the one cutting my fabric looked at her ' said Did you need something?' As if the lady was irritating her by patiently waiting her turn. The lady politely asked for assistance with a zipper the cutting girl said I don't know nothing about zippers ' I don't sew'! I'm just filling in back here. Another eye roll. Never asked if there was anything else I needed just a rude rolling eyes again.. I had close to 100 dollars in fabric. I proceeded to check out and asked a girl I guess a greeter?? For a manager. She looked confused I asked again She went to a phone made a call I waited over 15 minutes for a man ( manager tag said' walk straight past me she pointed at me and he walked over. I told him the employees name how rude she was he never smiled not once just a ' I'm sorry' I'll have a talk with her this evening. Which I highly doubt he said anything to her , she probably would have snapped at him and rolled her eyes. I was so irritated I finally told him. I have all this cut fabric and you know what! You can keep it! His face blushed a little and I turned around and told him I would never be back in there again! I will never go back to a Hobby Lobby store again. I was a general manager of a store and I know this is absolutely not the way to treat a customer. For every customer dissatisfied they will tell at least 10 people then they tell several and so on. So I hope if you want to have a good shopping experience you choose another business. If they continue like this they will be lucky not to be out of business!!! I'm surprised they are . read more

Went to the Hobby Lobby on Glenstone today and encountered the worst staff of people I have ever experienced. I was looking for help and had a young gentleman in particular that when I tried to get him to help me looked straight ahead and would not even acknowledge me as he walked within a foot of me. the staff was so rude I have no desire to go back. Amazing store! They have anything and everything you would ever need in decorating your home! Additionally, the prices are super affordable, with frequent discounts and deals on stuff all the time. Cleaner than the other store. Not as nice as far as staff or customers. I hate rude people. I cannot blame the staff for avoiding most of them. I would. Not as much broken stuff, unless you count what the crappy parents just allowed their useless offspring to tear up and throw all over the place. Some people should not attempt to parent. I've never been especially in love with this store but they give me even less reason to like them now. They don't seem to have much and they don't seem to have much interest in helping you with anything. When we were there they shifted registers from one side of the store to the other. They were already turning lights out and my little girl needed to pee and they already had locked the doors to the bathroom and wouldn't open them back up. During the Covid pandemic, Greene County has in effect a mask ordinance. I've never seen so many patrons without masks on inside a retail location while this ordinance is in effect. It is clear that the management of this location has taken a hands off approach in enforcing the ordinance and has little respect for the health of their employees (who were masked) and their customers. read more

One of my go to places for craft supplies. Love the amount of different products they carry and the staff is very friendly.

We purchased balloons for a birthday party ($5 each), and they popped when inflated. Hobby Lobby management refused to refund or exchange. Manager was rude. Shook his head and walked away. This is not our first poor experience with this location. Slow and inattentive. Will not be back. read more

Oh My God. Who knew??? I thought Hobby Lobby was just that - a shopping experience for those creative ones who, well...create things. I do not. I am Hobby-less. So I had never set foot in the place. I very recently started playing around making hand poured soaps and thought HL might be a good place to find essential oils and soaps. Wow, I walked in and was just floored by the sheer amount of shopping to be done in this place. Everything from cute lamps, artwork, flower arrangements, my soap making supplies, candles, and on and on...the place is huge! Sigh. I have a new addiction. Love the store but live 2hours away. I made a trip there yesterday to buy a wood product that said 50% on line and in store and at the store there was a sign as well. The lady at check out was so incredibly rude and would not listen to me and did not want to go back and look, when she finally had her manager do it she was just as mean and stuck up. And said I was looking at baskets and the never have 50% off wood items at the store!!They have a 40% off sale so the very nice lady behind me in line gave me her extra coupon, so I would at least be able to get 40% off but no the check out employee would not allow it because it was not my coupon! Very upsetting because I love the store so much and really didn't appreciate how rude they were and how wrong they were and the way they went about things. So I ended up just having to order online.
