    Italian Grinder

We got Italian grinders for takeout. The grinders were made with fresh ingredients and both kids were very happy with them.

Dined in on a week day lunch time. There was one other party inside and no take away was happening during our visit, so quiet. I had read the several poor reviews, but my dining companion wanted to try this spot. So here is our experience. Waitress asked if we were dining in when we arrived, we affirmed and were told to 'sit any where'. The interior has a cute mural all along the back wall. Fabric poinsettia decor were in the table - in March. The table was clean, the floor could have used a sweep. It smelled of cleaning products in the dining area. The bathroom floor was wet, so it too must have been washed before service began. My first choice of an entree was not available. We both opted for sandwiches. To get fries, I had to order a 'plate'. Sandwiches do not come with fries. After ordering the waitress returned to confirm which choice my companion had made as there are two similar options. The food showed up in a respectable amount of time. We had to ask for flatware, salt, etc. My dining companions sandwich which should have been hot was lukewarm when delivered and quickly became cold - a pretty good clue the filling was microwaved then added to the bread. The result was underwhelming My gyro was standard pre-made meat (lamb) with a good amount of tomato and a white sauce which tasted like plain yogurt. All in all, not an experience that we would rush to repeat. Just OK.

    BLT Grinder

I consistently order a BLT and it's consistently soggy with old, wilted lettuce. It looks like they might be toasting the sandwich with the lettuce on it- because today it was brown. I only reorder because I don't eat pizza and they're one of the only delivery options in my area.

We stopped here on a whim looking to eat somewhere during covid. Thankfully we saw this place. The staff were super friendly and the place was very clean with great prices. I ordered the antipasto salad for 9.99 and the husband got a burger and fries. My salad... Amazing and huge! More than enough for 2-3 people. Lots of meats and veggies in it. The husband burger was good but to me the fries were outstanding. Long steak fries but with double crisp and seasoning. I highly recommend this place and wish they had one near me in upstate ny...

Additionally, they are also very accommodating towards allergies and gluten sensitivities. My husband loves a great chicken parm and veal parm, but since going gluten-free has had a real hard time finding a decent one. Luckily, this restaurant has nailed the perfect recipe! We also enjoy their Caesar salad. The croutons are tiny yet tasty, and the crisp Romain lettuce and fresh Parmesan cheese along with the zesty Caesar dressing deliver an incredible combination of delightful flavor and crisp texture in every bite. I have eaten several dishes here but my favorites are their Chicken Francese and lemon chicken risotto. My husband also loves their Chicken Christine, If you enjoy getting to know the staff at a restaurant, then sit at the bar and meet Ava. Not only does she make a great dirty martini but she is also well-versed with the menu and clearly takes pride in serving her customers. She is the face of Pat's Italian for us, and we absolutely adore her. Although the acoustics are a bit loud, it is easy to have a conversation with those at your table. If anything, it helps create a lively atmosphere.

I would estimate 90% of the tables were open. At one time I counted at least 15 open tables. We were told there was a wait anyway. We ended up waiting at least 30 minutes when most of the tables were empty. When we were finally seated, there was only 1 party of reservations that came in after us. Most of the tables were still empty. The food was delicious and the server was great, but that doesn't make up for making us wait so long when there were a considerable number of empty tables. We almost left because of how ridiculous the waiting was. That would have been lost business for the restaurant because they were supposedly waiting for reservation that never showed up. Even when we left, a majority of the tables were still empty. Very, very confusing service model. Moral of the story- make a reservation if you don't want to stand there for a half hour or more staring at a mostly empty restaurant.

That's a lot, but on this day, the place was almost empty. Nice weather = low patrons. Everyone is out enjoying the day. A few more parties did arrived during our visit and sat both inside and out so they got busy. The bartender took our drink order and handed over menus. This two sided, laminated menu has a lot on offer. Pub fare like wings, burgers and sandwiches, plus entrées, salads and apps. Once we ordered we were given place mats and flatware. We both got sandwiches and side salads. The salads came out first with our dressings on the side. I chose their house dressing which seems to be a mix of dressing like thousand island and some others. It's mild and pleasant. The salad is fresh and for a side salad, a good size. Our meals came out shortly after we had finished our salads and wow, this is a lot of food. Both were very tasty with fresh bread, plenty of toppings and my burger was cooked as ordered. We ended up taking half of both home. The fries were very good. This spot was recommended to us by a waitress at another nearby restaurant. It's a nice, neighborhood restaurant and bar. Friendly staff. Solid food.

This has recently been our favorite restaurant--but after this event, it's officially the only place we will host gatherings or recommend to others. From the moment we arrived, Mike and Crystal, the owners, exceeded every expectation. Crystal, in particular, made everyone feel completely at home. She was incredibly attentive and somehow in tune with even the smallest details--down to noticing who was eating, who needed something, and who might have been missed. That level of care is rare and meant so much to our entire family. I'll admit, I went into the evening a little nervous because I'm very detail-oriented and like to plan everything myself. But they went so far above and beyond anything I could have anticipated. They made the entire night feel effortless. One of the many thoughtful touches that stood out was that they even put up a special 70th birthday announcement on their TV screens--such a small detail, but it made the night feel even more personal and celebrated. They also went out of their way to accommodate our only vegan guest, preparing a special dish with thoughtful modifications so that they felt just as included as everyone else. It was seamless and incredibly kind. What made the night truly unforgettable, though, was how personal everything felt. They interacted with our kids, held their hands, and treated our family like their own. It didn't feel like we were at a restaurant--it felt like we were being hosted by people who genuinely cared. I cannot thank Mike and Crystal enough for making my mother-in-law's 70th birthday such a memorable, special experience. We are beyond grateful and will be back again and again.
