I ordered over the phone for delivery and my order was incomplete when it got here. In addition, the delivery driver stated he did not have change for me nor a receipt so I was forced to give him the rest of the change as a tip. Keep in mind, I always tip, but this tip was worth half of my order. After the driver left, I called them back and spoke to a manager about my incomplete order, no receipt or change, who was rude about the situation and then stated that the driver deserved the amount of tip because he has to drive back to complete my order. I told the manager that the driver can keep the tip and just need my order complete that I paid for. She told me they would send driver back to complete my order and never did. Listen I order here a lot the pizza is fine, the grinders are fine calzones are fine. Everything is serviceable nothing outstanding. Worked for this company for almost 3 years they hire people who live in the owners properties pump their heads up by giving them managers positions then require them to be on salary making chump change on the clock 50 to 60 hours a week and pay them for 40 if they go under 40hrs they get their pay docked as for the food thell sell nasty ingredients on their pizzas week old salads the sauce is made once a week and sits in a bucket and mold all over the rum and down the sides where the level went down due to use not to mention there buying the cheapest ingredients possible the roast beef is not even beef it'd hydrogenated soy protein next to no training for employees you have veteran management preying on the new girls with promise of promotion this place needs to be boycotted for real a couple years ago during the small blizzard the management would send out drivers regardless of Conditions there's so much more to it definitely a corrupt establishment I've seen some nasty food go out no gloves dirty people cooking and handling your food the health inspector is being payed to look the other way ask for a tour of the back read more

I have given this place way too many chances, so that's my fault. The convenience of the location allowed me to tolerate incorrect orders literally 100% of the time. It's as if they do not know how to read orders. Most of the time some part of our order is missing, and usually there are ingredients added that are specifically requested to NOT be included. My roommate and I have ordered from here several times, and while I always get what I've ordered, they have messed up my roommate's order every. Single. Time. It isn't even a hard order. It's an eggplant parm sandwich with no cheese, and the past three times in a row they have gotten it wrong. We are both baffled by the fact that they can always make my order accurately while simultaneously messing up hers. The most recent time we ordered from them, we didn't even want to but after other pizza places weren't answering, we decided to give Twisted one last try. They messed it up. Food is usually pretty good. But man, getting an order right is seriously an issue. I ask for no tomato on my wrap, so they give me tomatoes, but no cheese or mayo. (???) Okay, fine. Really this place deserves no stars to be honest! Came here for our first time today July 12 2018 Coventry location. We each had a wrap which was tasteless sorry if you don't like that opinion. A welcome addition to Coventry! The menu here is so varied it should be easy to find something regardless of your mood! Been here twice for eat in now and my only complaint might be that they seem to be a little slower than expected; although both times have been during Friday dinners so it's probably reasonable. The pizza choices are endless, and their sandwiches are very reasonably priced for the size. I'm eager to try their calzones. Eh. The pizza was edible but boring. It wasn't bad it was just ok, nothing to write home about. It didn't taste bad but I don't feel the need to come back and eat it again. However the wings are great. The service was very friendly. I'm giving the two stars because it took almost an hour to get our food and that's ridiculous for a pizza and some wings. This building is nice. It's been a different restaurant three times in the past 5 years so I'm looking forward to trying a few more items here before they close. We tried to order food from this place 3 times. All three times they lost our order or had no record of it. Last night we called to try to order food. they gave us our number to pick it up, but when I got there they again had no record of it. the rude waitress asked if we called the right number. I called my husband to confirm the number he called was correct... it was. she asked what we ordered and I told her it was a turkey club and a chicken fajita. she asked if it was a wrap or not. I told her I didn't know because I didn't place the order. she rudely stated, "well it would help if I knew so I can reenter the order." then she proceeded to walk into the back room. I called my husband to confirm it was a wrap, and then had to stand around and wait for miss rudeness to come back and finish entering my order. No apology was ever given to us and we were not ever compensated for their incompitence. Rest assured that we will never use that place again. they are rude, arrogant and can't get things right. While I was waiting for my food, there were 3 other people who had issues with their orders as well. being treated rudely because of their mistakes is no way to run your business. Have always been a fan of this store. They have been my go-to restaurant during this pandemic. They had fast, local and friendly delivery as well as good food. HOWEVER, they recently disabled their web ordering and you must use DoorDash. DoorDash is ridiculously expensive. So now it takes longer to get my food, it's cold, and the fees are exorbitant. If I have to pay more for delivery am going to start ordering from other restaurants. It was fun while it lasted Twisted. read more

Unfortunately there is not an option for zero stars. This was probably the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. My family and I were brought two pizzas that were obviously overcooked (partially burnt crust, pepperoni that looked partially dehydrated, cheese that was brownish orange, and a burnt smell). I asked the waitress why was it so well done. She said she would be right back, then proceeded to answer a phone call, wait on another customer, then come back to see what the problem was. During my second round of telling her the pizza was obviously overcooked, she said it looked fine and she would eat pizza like that. Then, she asked if we wanted them to make new pizzas. It already took close to 30 minutes to get the first order, with only one other table in the whole restaurant, I asked if we could just pay for our drinks and leave. She said she was new, and wasn't sure what to do. She then talked to another waitress, the cook, and went in the back. About 10 minutes later, who I am assuming was the manager came out from the back (he never said who he actually was). In a much less than friendly demenior, he said "what is the problem here" and waited for our response. I pointed to the pizza once again and explained that it was way overcooked. He reluctantly agreed to remove the pizza from our bill, had no other offers on what he could do, and didn't apologize for the poorly prepared meal for my family. Finally, after 10-15 minutes of waiting for the check, 5 of which I was standing at the counter, I was able to pay for my drinks. It was the single worst customer service I ever had. The worst part was no one from the restaurant ever acknowled the obvious overcooking of the pizza we were served. The food here is great...very consistent and always hot. I have had not so great service, but if I get Chanel (I apologize if I spelled her name wrong), she is amazing. The reason for the low marks is that the kitchen takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r. Do not go when you only have an hour for lunch...you will only have 10 to 15 minutes to eat. Liz at the store answered the call about where the pizzas were after I called when an hour had passed. She let me know the pizza was made just not delivered. If I could rate this place a negative score I would. The absolute WORST experience I have ever had when ordering takeout. The two women working at the take-out counter on 7/5/20 were awful. Rude, miserable, mean women. They kept us on hold for so long we had to just drive to the restaurant instead and order. When we got to the restaurant they kept us waiting at the counter before we were able to put in our order. Instead of greeting us, we stood at the registers and watched them record their credit card tips without any acknowledgement or regard of our business with them. If this wasn't the only place open at this hour I would not have proceeded to give this company my money. Will not be coming back, best of luck to the next patrons. read more

I am very sad to report that their Alfredo Pasta has gone downhill DRAMATICALLY this year. I loved ordering it in the past and always complimented them on the sauce, which they proudly reminded me was "home-made" by them. It showed. You could see the cheese, taste the garlic and saw the butter. No more! The last two times we have ordered from them it was horrible. Tonight the pasta was overcooked (mushy) and the sauce was from a darn jar! I could have done that myself. There was nothing good about it at all. However, on this last adventure, both were horrible I was called a liar and questioned about why my order was incorrect, so their solution was to come and exchange food, which is fine, but I'd be worried that they would just give the food to another person. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this place. 1st nobody said there was a delivery fee. The person on the phone, just could not be bothered, rushing me thru my order with "Is that it" four times. When the delivery driver handed me his phone for me to sign for a Debit purchase. The screen starts off at what will your tip be? It starts at 15%,20%,25% and cash option. So you have to pay at least 15% with no other options, plus the cost of delivery (2.50). So, between Twisted and the driver, they made 8.50 for a kid to drive a 1/2 mile to my house. I only didn't go because I had foot surgery. Next I opened the bag to open my 12.00 salad, which was literally 80% Iceberg lettuce and the veggies that were on it were grabbed from the pizza toppings bar. My "salad dressing" was Honey Mustard dipping sauce for Chicken Tenders. Not fresh at all ! My daughter did not complain about her Pizza but she said the Broccoli bites were mushy in the breading and there were on 4 and maybe a fifth ( Couldn't make out the last one cause it was black and looked as though it was not cooked with the rest of the order . It truly blows my mind that this place continues to thrive when I only hear and read complaints about this place and as far as I can see, they are all valid. read more
